Safety

• Incorrect handling of this machine could result in personal injury.

• Always disconnect themachine from themains when it is not in use, during
assembly/disassembly or cleaning.

• Themachine may be used by children aged 8 or over provided they have
been instructed in thesafe use of theappliance and that they fully understand
thehazards or risks involved.

• Cleaning and maintenance may be carried out by children aged 8 or over, but only
under adult supervision. Ensure that themachine and its mains lead are kept out
of thereach of children under theage of 8.

• Switch themachine off and disconnect it from themains before changing
accessories or handling any of themoving parts.

• Themachine may be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capability, lack of experience or knowledge which could jeopardise their safety,
provided they have been given proper supervision or instruction regarding thesafe
use of theproduct and understand any hazards involved.

• Never let children play with themachine.

• Ensure that themachine is used with thecorrect voltage. Refer to therating plate.

• To prevent electric shocks, themachine and its mains lead should be kept dry.

• Never lay themains lead over hot surfaces, sharp edges or corners.

• Always disconnect themachine from thepower supply by holding and pulling
theplug. Do not pull themains lead.

• Make sure that all parts are correctly assembled and that themachine is switched
off before connecting it to thepower supply.

• Never run themachine without any ingredients in thefreezer bowl.

• Never use themachine in close proximity to heat sources.

• Only use thesupplied parts and/or accessories.

• Only use themachine for what it was designed for.

• Themachine is intended for indoor use only.

• Never use sharp objects to pry open themachine.

• Keep hands, hair, clothing and other loose objects away from themachine during
use, as these can become caught and cause injury.

• Themains lead should be checked regularly. Never use theproduct if its mains
lead or plug is damaged.

• Themains lead must be changed if damaged. This is to prevent therisk of electric
shock or fire and should only be carried out by themanufacturer, authorised
service facility or aqualified tradesman.

Operating instructions

For best results

• It is agood idea to place theice cream maker in thefridge and thebowl in
thefreezer to cool them down before you begin to make your ice cream.

• The bowl should be placed in the freezer to cool for at least 12 hours at a temperature
below -15 °C, preferably up against the side of the freezer where it is coldest.

• Theice cream made in this machine is softer than theice cream sold in shops.

• If theice cream has not begun to set after 15 minutes, thebowl is not cold enough.

• Left over ice cream is best stored in thefreezer.

1. Place thebowl in thefreezer for 8 hours before use.

2. Prepare theice cream mixture. Note: Do not mix more than 1500 g.

3. Cool theice cream mixture in thefridge.

4. Attach themixer paddle to themotor unit.

5. Pour theice cream mixture into thefreezer bowl, max 700 ml.

6. Make sure that thelid connecting themotor unit to thebowl is put on tightly.
Note: Put thelid on as soon as possible to keep theice cream mixture cold.

7. Connect theplug to awall socket. Press thepower button.

8. Let thepaddle churn themixture for 5–15 minutes. If necessary, press down lightly
on thelid during thefirst few minutes of churning. This might be necessary if you
are mixing alow-fat/low-sugar ice cream. Note: Pushing down too hard will result
in thepaddle changing direction.

9. Theice cream is mixed when it forms soft peaks and looks like whipped cream.
Athin layer of ice-cream may stick to thewall of thebowl, this is normal. Switch
theice cream maker off to stop themixing. Leave themixture for afurther 2 minutes
to freeze alittle more.

10. Themachine does not switch off automatically. Switch themachine off by pressing
thepower switch. Unplug themachine.

11. Remove thelid. Theice cream can be eaten directly out of thefreezer bowl.
To prevent scratching thebowl, theuse of plastic utensils is recommended.

1. Detach thepaddle from thelid.

2. Press thelocking tabs towards each other and detach themotor unit from thelid.

3. Wipe themotor unit using adamp cloth. Never immerse themotor unit into any
type of liquid.

4. Hand wash thelid, mixing paddle and freezer bowl.

• Thefreezer bowl is not cold enough. Leave thebowl in
thefreezer for 12 hours before use.

• Too much ice cream mixture in thecontainer. Max 700ml.
Themixture or ingredients are too warm.

• Thefreezer bowl has been at room temperature for
over 5 minutes and is too warm.

• Thefreezer bowl has athick layer of ice on theside.
After washing, dry thebowl completely before placing
into thefreezer.

• Additional ingredients such as chocolate chips or
chopped nuts, have been added too soon. Let theice
cream maker churn for at least 15 minutes or until
themixture is thick prior to adding extra ingredients.

• Theextra ingredients are too large.

• Too many extra ingredients have been added.

• Plastic utensils are recommended.

• Leave it out at room temperature afew minutes
before serving.

• Athin layer is normal. Athick layer could be due to alow
sugar content in themixture. When churning, press down
lightly on thelid to increase therate of freezing.

Användning

För bästa resultat

• Innan du startar tillagningen är det bra att kyla glassmixen i ett kylskåp och placera

• Skålen ska stå i frysboxen i minst 12 timmar i en temperatur under -15 °C och

• Maskinen ger en mjukare glass än den man köper i affären.

• Om glassen inte har börjat stelna efter 15 minuter är skålen inte tillräckligt kall.

• Kvarvarande glass förvaras bäst i frysboxen.
