Safety
• Read the entire operations manual and retain it for future use.
• Caution: Do not open the case. Hazardous electric currents are present in an unprotected form in some components inside the case of the product, and physical contact with these may result in electric chock.
• The product may only be repaired by qualied service employees.
• Unplug the device after nishing using it.
• Never leave the curling iron unattended when it is plugged into a wall socket.
• Never use the product during a bath, shower, or otherwise where it may fall into water or other uids.
• If it still falls into water, never touch the curling iron without unplugging it.
• Do not touch the product with wet hands.
• Do not allow children to use the curling iron without adult supervision.
• Do not use the product if the plug, the electric cord, or any other part is damaged.
• Do not carry the product by its electric cord.
• Protect the electric cord from hot or sharp objects.
• The curling iron is only designed for indoor use.
• Do not use the product in environments with aerosol sprays, oxygen gas, or other concentrated chemicals.
• Extra protection may be achieved by installing a residual-current device with a current rating of 30mA.
Product description
• Curling iron with steam function and 2 different temperature settings. Easy-grip handle. 2.75 metre rotating cable – no tangles.

Use
1. Plug the device into an electric socket (with dry hands.)
2. Press the power switch [0-1-2] forward to turn on the heat. Position 1 provides the lowest heat and Position 2 the highest heat. The indicator light will not be on at Position 0 (turned off) but will provide a faint light at Position 1 and a strong light at Position 2.
3. Set the desired temperature, and remember that thick hair requires higher temperatures and a lower temperature is used for thin hair.
4. Hold the curling iron or fold out the support on the bottom and place it on a heat­resistance surface until it is fully heated and ready to be used.
5. Do not use the curling iron until the hair is completely dry and well combed.
6. Part your hair into sections and use hair slides to keep it sectioned. Thick or long hair may have to be curled several times.
7. Open the clamp of the curling iron and clamp the hair (use a 5 cm width of hair each time,) make sure that the hair is evenly distributed within the clamp; roll up the curling iron against the scalp.
8. Keep the hair in the curling iron for about 5 – 10 seconds depending on the type of hair you have. Open the clamp carefully and release the hair from the curling iron, and let the hair cool.
9. Steam function: The curling iron is equipped with a device to expel steam during use. Do as follows: Unscrew the outer, transparent part and ll it with water. Press in the water container a couple of times when you wish to use steam.
10. Press the switch [0-1-2] backwards until the indicator light has gone out to turn off the heat, unplug the cord when you have nished.
11. Let the curling iron cool completely before storing it.
We recommend using a heat-protecting hair care product in your hair before beginning to use the curling iron.
Caution!
• The components of the curling iron will become very hot, so please use the curling iron carefully and with caution.
• Do not use the curling iron on articial hair such as wigs; as such “hair” may melt.
• Do not use the curling iron if you have sensitive hair or a damaged scalp, if you are oversensitive to heat or if your hair is wet.
• The curling iron in connected to the electric lines even when it is turned off. Remember to unplug it after nishing.

Care
• Store the curling iron in its box while not in use. Do not wind the electric cord around the curling iron but store it in soft folds.
• Let the curling iron cool completely before storing it in its box.
• Unplug the electric cord and let the curling iron cool before cleaning it.
• Clean the curling iron after you have used oils or other hair care products in your hair. Dry the curling iron with a clean washcloth lightly dampened with water. Make sure that the curling iron is completely dry before beginning to use it or before storing it in its box.
• Never use strong cleansing agents or solutions.
• Never immerse the curling iron in a uid.
• The curling iron should only be repaired by qualied service employees.
Disposal
When disposing of the product, this must be done in accordance with local ordinances. If you are uncertain how to do this, contact your local ofcials.
