1. Safety
•For the best possible audio quality: Make sure that you set the radio frequency so that you have clear reception.
•Use only the included DC adaptor (12V) for charging and for power supply.
•Do not lose concentration from the traffic around you while operating the transmitter in your car.
•N.B. During charging, the FM transmitter becomes warm. This is completely normal and the product is not defective.
•The transmitter should only be repaired by qualified service personnel. The product should not be disassembled or modified.
•Never expose the device to high temperatures, blows, dampness or moisture.
•Do not place the device in damp, dusty environments or where there are heavy vibrations.
1.The product has limited transmission power so interference and poor sound quality can result from radio stations transmitting close to the same frequency.
2.Interference and poor sound quality can occur in the following environments: tunnels, offices, heavy traffic, shopping centres, etc. where wireless communication is heavy.
3.If you travel between different locations you may experience interference as you begin receiving stronger radio transmissions from other sources. Choose another frequency on the transmitter.
4.Change the transmitter’s frequency if you notice that frequent loud noises disrupt the selected channel.
5.If you use the transmitter in a vehicle and experience electrical audio interference, change the location of the transmitter until you receive a clear sound. Do not twist the cables if you have connected another device to the transmitter.

This FM transmitter is designed to be connected to an external au­dio source such as an MP3 player, DVD player, mobile phones, etc. Audio signals are sent wirelessly from the source to your car stereo giving you good quality sound without unnecessary complex wiring. It can also be used as a “Handsfree” for your mobile phone.

5.1 Connection
Connect the included connection cable to the right side of the transmitter and to the outlet of an external audio source.
5.2 Power On/Off
1.Press [ ] to turn on the transmitter.
2.The last frequency used will appear on the display when the transmitter is turned on. The backlight will come on and remain on for 8 seconds before turning off.
3.The transmitter will automatically shut off if no signal from the audio source is detected after 40 – 60 seconds.
5.3 Frequency selection
After turning on the device, select a frequency using [] or [].
5.4 Volume adjustment
N.B. Decrease the volume on your radio/stereo by 20 – 40 %
before connecting an external sound source to the FM transmitter. Slightly increase the volume of the external sound source (MP3 player, etc.).
•If the volume on the sound source is set too low the sound from your stereo will have static and will completely disappear. If the volume is set too high the sound quality will be too sharp and distorted. Because of this it is extremely important to correctly adjust the volume of your sound source.
•If you experience any type of strange audio from your stereo check that there are not sound effect features turned on from the connected sound source. Turn these off if necessary.
5.5 Saving your set frequencies (channels)
•You can save up to 4 different frequencies to memory. Set in your desired frequencies with [] or []. Save them to memory by: Pressing in Mfor approx. 3 seconds until M starts flashing M1. Press MwhenM begins flashing to save the frequency (channel) as M1(channel 1).
•Repeat this same procedure for the other channels by selecting M2, M3 or M4 instead by using [] or [] before saving the new frequencies otherwise you will overwrite the latest saved frequency i.e. M1.
5.6 Using the memory pre-sets
1.Press Mto display the set memory pre-sets (channels) M1, M2, M3 and M4.
2.Browse between the different pre-sets by pressing
M
the
required number of times to select the desired frequency.
3.It is also possible to freely select a frequency (but this frequency will not be saved into memory).
5.7 Handsfree feature
The FM transmitter can be used as a Handsfree when it is connected to your mobile. When calling: After connecting your mobile, select a frequency to use that will enable you to conduct a call using the device. Receiving calls: If you use your mobile as an audio source for music it will automatically mute when you receive a call. The audio will return once the call is completed. N.B. When using the transmitter as a Handsfree a certain echo effect may be experienced depending on what car model you have and which telephone model you use. Reduce your stereo volume and move the transmitter to an ideal location to get the best sound.
6. Charging and discharging
The charging voltage is 5 V DC (12 V cigarette outlet charger included). N.B. Make sure the polarity (+ centre DC connector), in the cigarette outlet of your vehicle has a + centre. This can be setup differently in your vehicle. Always check this and ask for expert advice if you are at all unsure.
1.Connect the charger to the cigarette outlet and the DC connector to the FM transmitter. During charging, a battery charge icon will be animated on the display . When charging is complete the animation will stop. Charge time is approx. 1 hour.
2.When the battery is discharged the battery icon will show empty and will turn off after 1 minute.A battery charge is good up to 8 hours.
7. Cleaning
Use only a damp cloth when cleaning the exterior. Never use solvents or strong detergents.
8. Consider the environment
Follow local ordinances when disposing of this product. If you are unsure of how to dispose of this product, please contact your municipality.

1. Säkerhet
• För bästa möjliga ljudkvalitet: Se till att du ställer in radions frekvens så att du får brusfri mottagning.
• Använd endast den bifogade DC-adaptern (12 V) till laddning och strömförsörjning.
• Se till att inte FM-sändaren får dig att tappa uppmärksamheten från trafiken när du använder den i bilen.
• Obs! Under pågående laddning från DC-adaptern blir FM­sändaren varm, det är helt normalt och alltså inget fel.
• FM-sändaren får endast repareras av kvalificerad servicepersonal. Den får inte demonteras eller ändras.
• Utsätt aldrig apparaten för höga temperaturer, stötar, fukt eller väta.
• Placera inte apparaten i en fuktig, dammig miljö eller där det förekommer starka vibrationer.
1. Produkten har låg sändningseffekt så därför kan brus och störningar förekomma från radiostationer som sänder på en frekvens som ligger nära.
2. Störningar och förvrängning av röståtergivningen kan förekomma på platser som: tunnlar, kontor, trafikcentra och shoppingcenter som använder trådlös kommunikation med många olika frekvenser.
3. Om du flyttar dig mellan olika platser kan störningar uppkomma när du får in andra radiosändare, välj då en annan sändningskanal på FM-sändaren.
4. Byt sändningskanal på FM-sändaren om återkommande starka ljud förekommer på den använda kanalen.
5. Om du använder FM-sändaren i ett fordon kan elektriska störningar uppkomma, byt då till en annan plats för FM­sändaren. Vrid inte kablarna om du har anslutit en annan enhet till FM-sändaren.

3. Produktbeskrivning
Kompakt FM-sändare som är avsedd för att anslutas till en extern audioenhet som MP3-spelare, DVD-spelare, mobiltelefon etc. Ljudet sänds trådlöst från den till en bilradio, stereoanläggning för att ge bästa möjliga ljudåtergivning. Kan användas som ”Hands Free” till mobiltelefon.

5. Användning
5.1 Anslutning
Anslut den bifogade anslutningskabeln mellan uttaget på höger sida av FM-sändaren och ett uttag på den externa ljudkällan.
5.2 Slå på och stäng av
1. Tryck på [ ] för att slå på FM-sändaren.
2. När FM-sändaren startar visas den senast använda kanalen (frekvensen) på displayen. Bakgrundsbelysningen på displayen tänds och lyser i 8 sekunder innan det släcks.
3. FM-sändaren har automatisk avstängning efter 40 till 60 sek­under sedan signalen från den externa enheten har upphört.
5.3 Välj radiofrekvens
Välj radiofrekvens när du har slagit på FM-sändaren genom att använda [] eller [].
5.4 Ställ in volymen
Obs! Sänk volymen på FM-radion till 20 – 40 % av max innan du
ansluter en extern ljudkälla till FM-sändaren. Öka sedan volymen på MP3-spelaren (eller den ljudkälla som du har anslutit).
• Om ljudet på den anslutna ljudkällan är inställt för lågt kan ljudet från FM-radion bli brusigt eller upphöra helt och om ljudet är inställt för högt kan ljudet från FM-radion bli vasst och obehagligt. Det är därför mycket viktigt att du ställer in volymen rätt på den anslutna ljudkällan.
• Om du upplever att ljudet är dåligt kan det bero på att någon typ av ”ljudeffekt” är aktiverad på den anslutna ljudkällan, kontrollera detta och avaktivera den funktionen vid behov.
5.5 Spara använda sändningsfrekvenser
• Det går att spara 4 olika sändningsfrekvenser (kanaler) som snabbval på FM-sändaren. Ställ in önskad frekvens genom att trycka på [] eller [ ]. Spara frekvensen (kanalen) så här:
Håll in M i ca 3 sekunder tills M blinkar M1. Tryck på M när M blinkar för att spara frekvensen (kanalen) som M1 (kanal 1).
• Repetera detta för att ställa in övriga kanaler, men välj M2, M3 eller M4 med [] eller [ ] innan frekvensen sparas, annars sparas den nya frekvensen över den senaste sparade frekvensen (kanalen).
5.6 Använd de inställda snabbvalen
1. Tryck på M för att visa de inställda snabbvalen (kanalerna)
M1, M2, M3 och M4.
2. Stega mellan de olika snabbvalen genom att trycka flera gånger på M för att välja önskad sändningsfrekvens.
3. Det går också att ställa i en slumpvis vald sändningsfrekvens (men den frekvensen kommer inte att sparas i minnet).
5.7 Hands Free funktion
FM-sändaren kan användas som Hands Free när den ansluts till en mobiltelefon.
• Vid uppringning: Efter anslutning av mobiltelefon, ställ in radiofrekvens (kanal) så kan du sköta dina samtal via FM-sändaren.
• Ta emot samtal: Om du använder mobiltelefonen för att lyssna på musik så kommer musiken att tystna vid inkom­mande samtal. Musiken startar igen när samtalet avslutas.
Obs! När FM-sändaren används som Hands Free kan en viss eko­effekt uppkomma beroende på vilken bilmodell och mobiltelefon som används. Sänk volymen på radion och flytta FM-sändaren till en annan plats, prova alternativa platser tills ljudet är bra.
6. Laddning och urladdning
Laddningsspänningen är 5 VDC (laddare för cigaretttändaruttaget medföljer). Obs! Kontrollera polariteten (+ i mitten på DC-pluggen), ciga­retttändaruttaget i fordonet skall ha + i mitten, men kan vara kopplad på annat sätt i ditt fordon. Kontrollera om du är det minsta osäker.
1. Anslut laddaren till cigaretttändaruttaget och DC-proppen till FM-sändaren. Under pågående laddning visas batteriladdning­sikonen animerad på displayen , när laddningen är klar upphör animeringen. Laddningen tar ca 1 timme.
2. När batteriet är urladdat visas en tom batterisymbol och stängs sedan av efter 1 minut. Batteriet räcker upp till 8 timmar.
7. Rengöring
Använd endast en lätt fuktad trasa vid rengöring av höljet. Använd aldrig lösningsmedel eller starka rengöringsmedel.
8. Skydda miljön
När du ska göra dig av med produkten ska detta ske enligt lokala föreskrifter. Är du osäker på hur du ska gå tillväga, kontakta din kommun.
