Note:
• The (relative) humidity of air is usually expressed as a percentage and is a measure
of how much water the air contains at a certain temperature.
• Humidity is low during the winter/spring. If the appliance does not extract water from
the air it might be because there is not enough humidity for the appliance to operate.
• The appliance can extract a lot of water or a very little water, depending on
the humidity of the room.
• If the humidity of the room is 40 % and the appliance is set to maintain a humidity
level of 60 %, the appliance will not operate.
Safety Instructions
• The appliance must always stand upright with the wheels underneath.
• The appliance must stand upright for at least 1 hour before it is used for the first time.
The same applies after the appliance has been moved or cleaned, etc.
• Never use the appliance if the flex, plug or any other part is damaged or is not
working properly. Never try to repair the appliance yourself. Leave it to a professional.
• The appliance must not be covered in any way. Make sure that no foreign objects
cover or block the air inlet or outlet. Blockages can lead to fires, electric shocks or
damage to the product.
• Never use the appliance in areas where flammable liquids/materials or gases
(petrol, solvents, gas cylinders, etc.) are stored or used.
• Unplug the appliance from the wall socket when it is not in use. Never use
the mains lead to turn the appliance on or off. The appliance should only be
controlled using the ON/OFF button (7).
• When moving the appliance: turn it off using the ON/OFF button, unplug the mains
lead and empty the water tank.
• Never expose the appliance to running water or other liquids. Liquid coming in
contact with electric components can be extremely hazardous.
• This product must not be used by children or persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of sufficient experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction.
• Children being supervised not to play with the appliance.

Product description
The appliance draws in humid air from the surroundings and channels it past a cooling
element. The water in the air condenses and runs down into the water tank. The air is

then warmed up again before it is blown out.

70 % or 80 % humidity.

Operation
IMPORTANT:
This dehumidifier must not be used at temperatures

below +5 ºC.
1. Connect the appliance to a permanently installed
230V wall socket.
2. Turn the appliance on using the ON/OFF button (7).
The compressor will start and operate continuously.
3. Press the HUM button (6) to select the type of
operation: Continuous dehumidifying or to reach
50%, 60 %, 70 % or 80 % humidity.
4. Press the fan speed button to select either High
or Low speed.
5. Turn the appliance of by pressing the ON/OFF
button again.
6. The direction of the air output can be adjusted
by hand (see fig.).
Placement
1. Make sure that the appliance is standing firmly on an even surface.
2. The appliance should be placed where it can draw in air from the entire house.
3. All interior doors should be opened. Close exterior doors and windows.
4. If any part of your house suffers from severe humidity, the appliance can be placed
there first and then moved to another part of the house later.
5. Position the appliance where the air can circulate freely, leave a space of at least
10 cm around the perimeter.
6. The appliance is fitted with wheels for extra mobility. If the appliance is to be
relocated, make sure that it is turned off and emptied of all water.
7. Never place the appliance next to a radiator or heating appliance.

Emptying
When the water tank is full the compressor
will stop operating to prevent it from
becoming damaged and:
• The symbol that indicates that the water
tank is full
• The appliance will emit an audible
warning signal. To turn the warning
signal off, turn the appliance off using
the ON/OFF button.
• The water level window will be
illuminated by a red light.
• To empty the tank: grasp the handle of
the tank and pull the tank out straight
(see fig.).
After emptying the tank: Return the tank to
its original position and make sure that it is
correctly inserted by checking that the
symbol turns off. The appliance is now
ready for use.
Note! If the water tank is not correctly
inserted, the water level window will shine
red and the warning signal will sound.

Continuous drainage
When the appliance is used in a room with
high humidity, the water tank will need to be
emptied frequently and it might be more
practical to set the appliance up for
continuous drainage.
Procedure:
1. Remove the plastic plug from the hole
for continuous drainage (9) and connect
a water hose with an internal diameter
of 12 mm to the outlet (see fig.).
N.B. A hose is not supplied with
the appliance.
2. Make sure that the water is always able
to run freely through the hose.
N.B. In case of cold weather, make sure
the drain hose does not freeze.

Care and maintenance
Use a damp cloth to clean the outer casing.
Never use solvents or corrosive cleaning products.

Cleaning the air filter:
Gently press the upper corner of the front grille (2), (at the “Press” mark)
and remove the grille. The filter is attached to the inside of the grille.

• The washable filter: Use a vacuum cleaner to clean the filter. If it is very dirty
wash it in warm water with a mild detergent.
• The active carbon filter: This filter cannot be cleaned; its useful life varies
depending on the environment the appliance is used in. The filter should be
checked on a regular basis, (every 6 months) and changed if necessary.
Storage
If the appliance is not to be used for a long time
• Turn off the appliance and pull out the plug from the wall socket.
• Empty the water tank and dry it.
• Cover the appliance and store it in a place where it is not exposed to direct sunlight.

Troubleshooting
The appliance does
not start.
The appliance starts
but does not extract

• Is it plugged into a wall socket?
• Is the wall socket live?
• Is the ON/OFF button set to ON?
• Is the water tank inserted correctly and empty?
• Make sure that the air inlet and outlet are not blocked.
• Does the air filter need cleaning?
• Make sure that the air inlet and outlet are not blocked.
• Is the humidity of the room already at a low level?
(This is normal in winter and spring)
• Is there a window or door open?
• Is there anything in the room that creates a lot of humidity?
• Make sure the appliance is standing on a level surface.
• Check that the appliance is not damaged in any way.

Säkerhetsanvisningar
