Safety

Safety Instructions

Read all safety instructions before using theshoe dryer.

• Ensure that theshoe dryer is used with thecorrect voltage; refer to therating plate
on theshoe dryer.

• Do not place theshoe dryer in theimmediate vicinity of bathtubs, showers, sinks
or swimming pools.

• Theshoe dryer must not be immersed in water or other liquids. If it has come into
contact with water it should be unplugged immediately.

• Warning: Avoid overheating; do not cover theshoe dryer.

• Theshoe dryer must not be covered with any combustible materials such as
newspapers, curtains or other fabric. Combustible products must not be placed
close to thesides of theshoe dryer.

• Thehousing of theshoe dryer will get hot; do not touch it during use.

• Themains lead should be checked regularly. Never use theshoe dryer if themains
lead or plug is damaged.

• Themains lead must be changed if damaged. This is to prevent therisk of electric
shock or fire and should only be carried out by themanufacturer, authorised
service facility or aqualified tradesman. Do not try to repair theshoe dryer yourself
in any way.

• Do not use theshoe dryer in theimmediate vicinity of bathtubs, showers, sinks or
swimming pools.

• Theshoe dryer must not be installed on awall less than 50 cm from theceiling or
adjoining wall.

• Theshoe dryer must not be used by anyone (including children) suffering from
physical or mental impairment. This shoe dryer should not be used by anyone that
has not read theinstruction manual unless they have been instructed in its use by
someone who will take responsibility for their safety.

• Theshoe dryer should not be placed directly beneath awall socket. Make sure
that themains lead is not lying in front of theheat outlet.

• Make sure that theair inlet and heat outlet are kept clean and are not blocked by
anything. To clean theshoe dryer, first unplug it and then vacuum clean it.

• Theshoe dryer must not be used outdoors or in damp environments.

• Theshoe dryer must not be used in locations where it is exposed to water splashes.

• Do not let any foreign objects enter theventilation openings or exhaust ports since
this can cause electric shock, fire, or other damage to theshoe dryer.

• Do not place spray cans or flammable products close to theheat outlet.

• Theshoe dryer must be kept out of reach of children under 3 years of age unless
they are under constant supervision.

• Children between theages of 3 and 8 years should only switch theshoe dryer on/
off provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating
position and they have been given supervision or instruction in thesafe use of
theappliance and understand thehazards involved.

• Children between theages of 3 and 8 years must not plug in theshoe dryer,
regulate it or perform any user maintenance.

• Warning: Theshoe dryer becomes very hot during use. Burn hazard. Special care
must be taken if theshoe dryer is used in thesame room as young children, aged
or infirm persons.

• Theshoe dryer is intended for household use only.

• Theshoe dryer is only intended for drying shoes that have been washed or become
wet during use.

Operating instructions

Theshoe dryer can be mounted on awall or laid flat on thefloor or atable. When theshoe
dryer is used lying down, thestand under thehose connections should be folded out.

1. Screw thewall bracket to awall, at least 50 cm above floor level. Theshoe dryer
must be at least 50 cm away from theceiling or anadjoining wall.

2. Slide theshoe dryer into thewall bracket from above.

3. Attach theflexible hoses to theshoe dryer. Note: Theends of thehoses are
different; theends which attach to theshoe dryer have protrusions which fit into
theoutlets on theshoe dryer.

4. Screw theglove dryer to thewall next to theshoe
dryer, or stand it on thefloor. Theglove dryer has slots
on theback enabling it to be hung up on two screws.
Make sure that theglove dryer is positioned where
thehoses reach theconnections.

5. Using theshoe dryer to dry gloves. Attach theincluded
glove holders to thetop of theglove dryer. Connect two
of theflexible hoses to theglove dryer. Set theair
regulator on thefront of theglove dryer to 1 to
create asupply of hot air. Place thewet gloves onto
theglove holders.

6. Using theshoe dryer to dry shoes and boots.

- Place thewet shoes under theshoe dryer.

- Insert aflexible hose into each shoe/boot.

7. Switch theheat selector to thedesired setting.

- 0 (off)

- 1 (low power)

- 2 (high power)

8. Switch theshoe dryer on by turning
thetimer to thedesired setting:

- 0 (off)

- Timer (0 to 180 minutes)

- I(continuous operation)

Care and maintenance

Unplug themains lead before cleaning theproduct. Clean theproduct using asoft,
moist cloth. Use amild detergent – never use asolvent or strong, abrasive detergent,
as this may damage theproduct.

Troubleshooting

Problem Theshoe dryer switches off unexpectedly.
Cause Theoverheating protection has tripped.
Solution Allow theshoe dryer to cool down before starting it again.

Disposal

This product should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.
If you are unsure how to proceed, contact your local council.

• Nätsladden bör regelbundet kontrolleras. Använd aldrig skotorken om nätsladden
eller stickproppen är skadade.

• Om nätsladden skadats får den, för att risk för elektrisk stöt eller brand ska

• Skotorken ska hållas oåtkomlig för barn yngre än 3 år om barnen inte ständigt
