Note:
• Do not start theappliance unless thetank is filled with water.
• Never immerse awatch in thewater tank of theappliance, regardless of its water
resistance rating.
• Read theinstructions below about cleaning wristwatch straps before using theappliance.
This appliance must not be used by anyone (including children) suffering from
physical or mental impairment. This appliance should not be used by anyone
that has not read theinstruction manual unless they have been instructed in its
use by someone who will take responsibility for their safety.
• Store theappliance out of children’s reach.
• Suffocation hazard! Keep all packaging material away from children.
Risk of electric shock! Never immerse theappliance or themains lead in water
or other liquid.
• Risk of electric shock! Never touch theelectrical plug with wet hands, especially connecting/
disconnecting it to anelectrical socket.
• Risk of electric shock! If theappliance has fallen into water or other liquid during use, do not
touch theappliance. Unplug theappliance from theelectrical socket immediately.
• Risk of electric shock! Never spray water or other liquid over theappliance.
• Never leave theappliance unattended during use.
• Do not use accessories which are not approved by themanufacturer.
• Grip theplug and pull it out of thesocket when disconnecting theappliance from themains.
Do not pull on themains lead.
• Do not place themains lead where it can be damaged by hot surfaces, sharp edges or be crushed.
• Do not use theappliance if it or its mains lead is damaged in any way.
• Never attempt to disassemble theappliance.
• If theappliance is damaged, non-operational or has fallen into water or other liquid, it should
be taken to aqualified service centre for repair.

• Theelectrical socket to which theappliance is connected should be protected by anRCD
with atripping current of 30 mA.
• Place theappliance on afirm, flat and level surface. Never operate theappliance on asoft,
pliable surface such acushion or quilt.
• Fill the tank with water before plugging the appliance into an electrical socket.
Never place your hands into the water when the appliance is switched on.
• Make sure that thewater level in thetank does not exceed themaximum mark.
Items not suitable for ultrasonic cleaning
Soft jewellery such as pearls
or jewellery made of:
• Emerald
• Ivory
• Coral
• Agate
• Sea shells
Welded or plated metal items.
Glued items.
Watches with lower water-
resistance ratings than
10 ATM/100 m.
These items are too soft and may scratch during cleaning.
Ultrasonic cleaning may enlarge any gaps inside thejoints.
This can cause thejoints to fail and theitems to come apart.
• Remove thewatch strap from thewatch and wash thestrap in
thebasket if thewatch has alower rating than 10 ATM/100 m.
• In order to be able to use theincluded watch stand which
holds thewatch above thewater, thewatch casing must be
water resistant to at least 10 ATM/100 m.
• Theultrasonic waves might cause water to penetrate
thecasing of watches with lower water resistance despite
them being held above thesurface of thewater.
• Never immerse awatch in thewater tank of theappliance,
regardless of its water resistance rating.
• Make sure that theany buttons on thewatch are pushed in
and that all theseals are in good condition before placing
thewatch in theholder.

Operating instructions
Note: Continuous use will cause thewater temperature to rise.Do not use theappliance for
more than 20 minutes at atime. If theappliance is used continuously for 20 minutes, let it rest
for 10 minutes before using it again.
1. Lift thelid, place theitems to be cleaned into thebasket (see that
theitems are not touching one another) and then lower thebasket
into thetank.
To clean awatch strap, lay thewatch
on top of thewatch stand and slot
thestrap into theslots on thestand.
Thewatch casing will then be held
above thewater when thetank is filled
and only thestrap will be immersed.
Note:
• Remove thewatch strap from thewatch and wash thestrap in
thebasket if thewatch has alower rating than 10 ATM/100 m.
• In order to be able to use theincluded watch stand which
holds thewatch above thewater, thewatch casing must be

2. Up to 2 CDs/DVDs can be cleaned at thesame time by
placing them on theincluded CD stand separated by
thespacer.
3. Fill thetank with water, making sure that thewater level does
not rise above themax mark. Afew drops of washing-up
liquid can be added to thewater if necessary.

4. Close thelid and plug theappliance in to anelectrical socket.
“180” will appear on thedisplay. This is thedefault cleaning
setting. Press [ On/Off ] to switch theappliance on, or press
[ Set ] to select another timer setting and then [ On/Off ] to
switch theappliance on.
Note: Theappliance will emit ahumming sound when it is
switched on and maybe even alittle smoke. Thewater may
become cloudy. This is completely normal.
5. Thecleaning process stops automatically when thetimer has
counted down to zero. Thecleaning process can be interrupted at any time by pressing the [ On/Off ] button.
6. When you have finished cleaning theitems, unplug
theappliance, open thelid and remove theitems.
7. Empty thetank by pouring thewater out in thedirection
indicated by thearrow on therim. Dry theinside of thetank.
Thetank should be cleaned and fresh water should be used
each time.
Care and maintenance
• Always unplug theappliance from thepower point before cleaning it and when it is not in use.
• Clean theappliance by wiping it with adamp cloth. Use only mild cleaning agents, never
solvents or corrosive chemicals.
• Theappliance should be stored in adry, dust-free environment out of thereach of children.
• Theappliance can be negatively affected by theelectromagnetic fields of other electronic
equipment. This can cause theappliance to malfunction. If this happens, switch off thecause
of theinterference, unplug theappliance and then plug it back in again. Theappliance should
now function normally again.

• Ta bort armbandet från armbandsuret och tvätta armbandet
i korgen om uret har lägre vattenskydd än 10ATM/100m.
• För att du ska kunna använda den medföljande hållaren för
armbandsur, där urverket hålls ovanför vattnet, måste urverket vara vattenskyddat till minst 10 ATM/100 m.
• Ultraljudsvågorna gör att vatten kan tränga in i urverk med
lägre vattenskydd trots att urverket hålls ovanför vattnet.
• Sänk aldrig ner armbandsurets urverk i vatten, oavsett
vattenskydd, vid rengöring i ultraljudstvätt.
• Försäkra dig om att urverkets knappar är intryckta och alla
tätningar är i god kondition innan uret placeras på hållaren.
