Safety
• The Bluetooth speaker should not be taken apart or modified. Certain exposed parts inside the casing carry dangerous current. Contact with these can lead to fire or electric shock.
• Do not cover the Bluetooth speaker. Adequate ventilation with a distance of at least 5 cm between ventilation ports and the surrounding area is required to prevent the device from overheating.
• The Bluetooth speaker must only be connected to a standard domestic 220–240V, 50/60 Hz electrical supply.
• Make sure that the wall socket that the adaptor is connected to is easily accessible, since this is the only way to completely disconnect the Bluetooth speaker from the electrical system.
• Place the Bluetooth speaker on a stable, flat surface.
• Do not place the Bluetooth speaker where it could fall into water or other liquids. Do not place any objects which contain liquid onto the product such as vases, drinks, etc.
• Do not place the Bluetooth speaker near open flames such as wood stoves, lit candles, etc.
• Do not expose the Bluetooth speaker’s adaptor lead to foot traffic, as this presents a risk for tripping.
• This product is intended for indoor use only.
• Never subject the Bluetooth speaker to high temperature, dust, heavy vibration, impacts, humidity or moisture.
• Do not abuse the adaptor or its lead. Never unplug the product by pulling on its adaptor lead. Always grip the plug itself. Make sure that the lead does not come into contact with heat, sharp edges or is crushed in any way.
• Unplug the adaptor lead during thunderstorms or if the Bluetooth speaker is not to be used for a long time.
• The Bluetooth speaker’s standby switch does not disconnect the product completely from the mains. To completely disconnect the device from the mains, the plug has to be removed from the wall socket.
• Protect your hearing. Listening to the speaker dock on high volume for prolonged periods can lead to permanent hearing loss.
• Do not use the Bluetooth speaker if the adaptor or its lead is damaged in any way.
• The Bluetooth speaker should only be repaired by qualified service personnel.
