Thank you for purchasing this CLARKE Vertical Slide, for use with Mini Lathe CL250M

The Vertical Slide is used so that grooves or slots may be milled in a workpiece.

The Slide is bolted directly to the Cross Slide using the ‘T’ nuts with hex. socket
head screws provided, in the manner shown in the illustration.

The workpiece is secured to the slide with the cutting tool installed in the Lathe
spindle.

The illustration shows the Vise (see Accessories in Lathe manual) bolted to the
slide, which may be used to secure the workpiece.

The workpiece may be moved up, down or laterally into the spinning Cutting Tool.
The illustration shows A Mill Chuck, with End Mill, installed in the Headstock Spindle.

This CLARKE product is guaranteed against faulty manufacture for a period
of 12 months from the date of purchase. Please keep your receipt as proof of

tampered with in any way, or not used for the purpose for which it was
