STARTING

Pressure
will build
up

ceiver
and

runs off
load. The pr

re registered

the pr
essure
gouge
should
be lOOpsi.
4. Slide the outlet tops
outw
ards to all
ow
air to
escape
from
the
out
lets.

slowly
tum the
pressure r
egu
lator clockwise. Observe the p
ressure
gauge.
When the pressure has
dropped by
approx. 20ps

When starting subsequently, start the
machine
as follows:

drain completely, then

pressure in

pump
outlet manifold by
opening the Bleed
Valve (See
Fig
.2).

Connect
the air hose
to
one
of the outlets
and
the air
tool
and
set the pr
essure
regulator to zero pressure (turned fully
ant
iclockwise).
4.
Start
the
engine in
accordance
with
the
instructio
ns
contained
in
the
engine
service manual, t
hen
close
the
bleed val
ve
and
allow p
ress
ure to build up.
