INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing this CLARKE Floor Cleaner.
Before attempting to use this product, please read this manual thoroughly and follow the instructions carefully. In doing so you will ensure the safety of yourself and that of others around you, and you can look forward to your purchase giving you long and satisfactory service.
GUARANTEE
This product is guaranteed against faulty manufacture for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. Please keep your receipt which will be required as proof of purchase.
This guarantee is invalid if the product is found to have been abused or tampered with in any way, or not used for the purpose for which it was intended.
Faulty goods should be returned to their place of purchase, no product can be returned to us without prior permission.
This guarantee does not effect your statutory rights.
GENERAL SAFETY RULES
1. ALWAYS read the safety instructions that are supplied with your pressure washer and accessories.
2. NEVER direct the spray towards electrical wiring or equipment.
3. ONLY trigger the pressure washer when the floor cleaner is flat against the floor being cleaned.
4. NEVER allow children or untrained personnel to use this machine.
5. NEVER reach under the edge of the floor cleaner whilst the device is in operation.
6. NEVER use the detergent bottle to introduce flammable liquids/solvents, e.g. paint thinners, petrol, oil as there is a risk of explosion.
7. ALWAYS turn off the pressure washer after use and before carrying out any maintenance on the floor cleaner.
8. ALWAYS wear protective clothing and safety glasses. Loose particles and other debris may be propelled at high speed by the water jet.
9. ONLY use chemical cleaning agents (detergents), that are approved for pressure washers. CLARKE Traffic Film Remover (available from your dealer) is recommended.

BEFORE USE
ATTACH THE FLOOR CLEANER TO THE PRESSURE WASHER
1. Slide the spigot end of the floor cleaner accessory into the handle assembly.
2. Push in firmly and twist 90° to lock it into position.
APPLYING CHEMICALS AND CLEANING AGENTS
1. Ensure the trigger lock is in the locked position and the pressure washer is switched OFF.
2. Remove the lid from the detergent tank and fill with the required amount of detergent.
• Only use detergents
recommended for use with pressure washers, such as CLARKE Traffic Film Remover which is a powerful low foaming agent for patio cleaning etc.
3. When the tank is filled with detergent, replace the lid.
USING YOUR FLOOR CLEANER
1. Activate your pressure washer according to the instructions supplied with the pressure washer.
2. Slowly move the floor cleaner over the surface being cleaned.
• Make sure you keep the floor cleaner parallel to the floor.
3. When cleaning the edge of the patio, do not allow the floor cleaner to tip over the edge, as this may damage the floor cleaner if the rotating brush strikes the edge on the patio.
