OPERATION
1. When items are to be riveted together, the hole diameter must be nominally larger than the outer diameter of the rivet. Ensure that the hole is perpendicular with the surface of the workpiece components.
2. Insert the rivet into the hole of the workpiece components.
3. Pull the handle back to extend the rivet gun to its full length.
This will enable the rivet stem to enter the rivet gun as far as it will go, with the handle fully extended.
4. Ensure the rivet gun is perpendicular to the work piece and the flange of the rivet is pressed against it.
5. Push the rivet gun handle fully forward to expand the rivet.
6. If the rivet stem does not break off at the first stroke, pull back the handle and repeat step 6.
7. Extend the rivet gun by pulling the handle back and the broken stem should be ejected from the nozzle.
