This CLARKE product is guaranteed against faulty manufacture for a period of
12 months from the date of purchase. Please keep your receipt as proof of
purchase.
This guarantee is invalid if the product is found to have been abused or
tampered with in any way, or not used for the purpose for which it was
intended.
Faulty goods should be returned to their place of purchase, no product can
be returned to us without prior permission.
This guarantee does not effect your statutory rights.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
Do not dispose of this product with general household waste. All tools,
accessories and packaging should be sorted, taken to a recycling
centre and disposed of appropriately.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
• Make sure that the oil extractor is in perfect condition before use
i.e. No cracks which would result in oil leaks.
• When disposing of oil, it must be disposed of according to local
regulations. Never pour it down drains.
• When draining oil, make sure that the engine is switched off.
• Warm oil is easier to drain, but make sure the oil is not hot
• Make sure that the oil extractor is on a stable surface.
• If oil is spilt, the area must be cleaned completely and sand or
sawdust scattered on the area to absorb the oil and then cleaned
up. You should also alert people in the vicinity to the possible
danger of slipping.
• DO NOT use this equipment with petrol or other flammable liquids or
chemicals.
• ALWAYS drain and clean the unit thoroughly after use, and store in a
clean , dry place.

ASSEMBLY

1. Slide the bung into the top of
the collection container. Make
sure it is secure.

2. Take the thinner hose and slide
the thick section through the
hole as shown. Do not slide it all
the way through, about 5-7cm
should be enough.

3. Screw the plunger into position
taking care not to over tighten
it.
4.The Oil Drainer is ready for use.

USING THE OIL DRAINER
1. Place the hose into the oil sump you wish to drain.
2. Make sure the collection container is positioned lower then the oil sump.
3. Raise the plunger up and down to start syphoning the oil into the
collection container.

If you require a longer hose, simply
join the two hoses together as
shown.
