I can’t see the camera on Bluetooth.
The MightyScope camera is not Bluetooth. It has a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot which means you don’t need any other network.
I see the camera is waterproof so can I use it underground or underwater?
The Wi-Fi signal will get blocked if the camera is underground, underwater or inside an underfloor conduit for example. That’s the nature of Wi-Fi.
How long will the MightyScope work for on a charge?
The internal Li-Ion battery will provide up to 90 minutes of use depending on the LED brightness.
On my Android device I can’t connect or stay connected to the MightyScope Wi-Fi.
On your Android device you may get a warning alert – if you do, press do not ask/show again and then press OK or Yes.
I’ve been able to connect to the MightyScope Wi-Fi but I can’t see the camera image in the App.
On your phone go to Settings, Data Usage and then Cellular data usage. If you then turn off Background Data, this will prevent the App from using cellular data..
The firmware update won’t progress past 0%.
Close the MightyScope App then turn your phone to Flight Mode and then turn on the phone’s Wi-Fi. Open the MightyScope App, turn on the MightyScope camera and try again to update the firmware.
