Place a call
Use any of the following approaches to place a call:
Place a call from Contact List
Tap the Contacts options, search for someone in a specic list
by tapping that list and scrolling to locate the entry.
Alternatively, tap the Search or Dial eld which will invoke the
virtual keyboard. Key in the name, number or IP address and matches will appear as you type. If you need to edit the entry before you call, tap the More option, and tap Edit & Call which will invoke the virtual keyboard. Apply the editing. When you are ready to place the call, press the green Call icon.
Place call using Name
Tap Dial which will show the numerical dialpad.
Tap Keyboard and key in the name. Matches will appear as
you type.
Press the green Call icon when you are ready to place
the call.

Place call using an IP address
Tap Dial and enter the IP address into the numerical dialpad.
Tap and hold * to type the point sign used in IP addresses.
Press the green Call icon when you are ready to place
the call.
Place call using Number
Tap Dial and enter the number into the numerical dialpad.
Press the green Call icon when you are ready to place
the call.

Receive a Call
Use any of the following approaches to receive a call:
Receive Call while in another Call
If you are in a call, another incoming call may be answered.
Add: If your system is equipped with MultiSite you may merge
the incoming call with the existing. If MultiSite is not an option, you can still merge the call but only as an audio call.
Answer & Hold Current: You can accept the incoming call
which will place the existing call on hold.
Answer & End Current: If you tap this option, you will accept
the incoming call and the current call will end.
Decline: Decline the incoming call and stay on the current call.
Incoming Call: Will show the name or number of the person
trying to call.
Placing and Receiving Calls
Transfer Call
While in a call tap Transfer.
Locate who you wish to call in the usual way and press the
green Call icon.
› Tap Complete transfer to complete the action.
Consult and Transfer
While in a call tap Hold.
Tap Place a New Call and locate whom to call. Place the call in
the usual way.
Once in the new call, tap Swap to go between the
two parties.
› If you tap Transfer this will connect the two calls together
while you leave the call.
Disconnect from a Call
To disconnect from a call, tap End.
Mute Call
The mute button has an LED indicating whether the
microphone is on or muted. If the LED is green the microphone is on.

Put a call on Hold and Resume a Call on Hold
When on a call, tap Hold to place the call on hold.
Tap Resume to go back to the call.
Change Call Rate
Call rate is the term used to express the amount of bandwidth
allocated to the call. The higher the call rate is, the better the quality will be, but on the expense of higher bandwidth consumption.
Before a call, tap More to gain access to the options.
Tap Call Rate and change the call rate by moving the slider.
Enable Do Not Disturb
Tap the eld in the upper left corner of the screen.
Tap Available or Do Not Disturb.
Tap anywhere outside the menu to exit.
Enable Standby
Tap the eld in the upper left corner of the screen.
Tap Standby. The screen will turn itself off after a few seconds.
Tap the screen again to wake it up.

In a call you may be prompted to submit numbers to reach an
extension or gain entrance.
During a call tap Keypad.

Conference Calls Conference Calls
Add Additional Participants to Existing Call
If your video system allows, you may have the capability to initiate a video conference with several participants. You must call each participant one by one.
While in a call tap Add and locate whom to call, tap Call.
You may be prompted to tap Merge. This will create the
conference. You may cancel this call without terminating the rst call you were in by tapping Cancel.
View Meeting Participants List
In a call, swipe your nger horizontally to the left or tap the
small grey dot. A list will show all the participants, even if they are on Hold.
Lock Speaker
During a conference call, voice switching will be active.
This is where the screen will display the speaker. If you wish to keep the view on one of the participants, you can utilise the lock speaker.
While this person is speaking, tap that speaker’s avatar.
Tap Lock as speaker. Once this is activated the eld will change to Unlock as speaker which you can press to enable voice switching.
Disconnect Participant from Call
To disconnect a participant from a call:
Bring up the list of participants and Tap the participant you
wish to disconnect.
Tap Drop. The participant will be disconnected.
Share Content
Your video system supports the ability to show presentations during a video call or conference as well as outside a call.
Tap Present then scroll horizontally to locate the
presentation source. Tap the required source.
To stop the presentation, tap Stop Presenting.
To change the Presentation Layout tap Layout and tap your
preferred layout.

View Meeting List
Your video system may be connected to a management system capable of scheduling video meetings. These will appear in a List of Meetings. You can tap an item in the list to see more information. Meetings that appear as Private will only show information about the organiser.
Join Scheduled Meeting
A Meeting Reminder will appear once it is possible to join a meeting. Starting Now will be shown from 30 seconds before to 30 seconds after the scheduled start time of the meeting.
Tap Meetings to display the list of meetings.
A scheduled meeting may connect you automatically or you
may have to tap Join Meeting.
When the meeting starts you will be offered to join in, postpone the offer to join in for 5 minutes or to dismiss the offer.
If you are in a current call when the new meeting is offered, you can join in and the previous call will be put on hold as per previous instructions of answering calls.
Scheduled Meetings
Contact Directory
The Directory serves as your Corporate phonebook. You cannot edit this; however you can copy entries to your list of Favourites and edit them there.
Find an entry by scrolling through the list:
Tap Contacts.
Tap Directory. Scroll through the list to locate the entry or
tap Search or Dial to enter details into the keypad. Possible matches will appear as you type.
Call Recents
The Recents list displays the received, placed and missed calls.
To view this list:
Tap Contacts and Recents.
To remove an entry, select the entry by tapping it, and then tap
More. Tap Remove from Recents to remove the entry.
A prompt will appear to conrm the intention.
To clear the entire Recents, scroll to the top of the list and tap
Clear Recents.

Add Camera Position Preset
Your video system lets you create predened zoom and camera
pointing directions.
Tap Camera and then Selfview to activate it.
Adjust Tilt, Pan and Zoom as required.
Tap Add New and key in a descriptive name.
Tap Save to put the changes in effect, or tap Cancel to leave
menu with no change.
Edit Existing Camera Preset Position
Tap Camera and then Selfview.
Adjust Tilt, Pan and Zoom as required.
Tap the arrowhead of the preset that requires editing.
Tap Update to current position to make the changes. To delete
the existing preset tap Remove.
Control Own Camera
Using your camera presets
While in a call or outside a call, tap Camera and select the
preset to use.

Adjusting your camera’s pan, tilt and zoom
While in a call or outside a call, tap Camera.
Tap Selfview and then adjust the Pan, Tilt and Zoom.
Manage Selfview
Outside a call:
Tap Camera and then Selfview. You can now adjust the
settings as per the control instructions.
In a call:
Tap the Selfview avatar. This will allow you to switch it off,
maximize or minimize to view or select Camera to gain access to the camera controls.
To move the Selfview Picture-inPicture (PiP):
Tap Selfview in the top right corner of the screen.
Press and hold your nger in the Selfview area. It will turn blue
which will allow you to drag the view to a new location (these will be indicated on the screen).
Once you have found the location you want it in, lift your nger
from the screen. This will set the new location.
Control the Camera of the Other Participant.
During a call tap the avatar of the other participant, or the
participant you wish to control.

To access settings, tap the top left corner of the screen and tap Settings.
Ringtone and Sound
You can specify:
Keytones: On or Off. When on, every time you tap a eld on the
screen you will hear a sound.
Ringtone volume.
Ringtone: you can select various ringtones, to hear a sample
tap a ringtone.
Camera Control
You can set the whitebalance and exposure to camera. You can also select Auto for the system to do it itself.
Main Source Selection.
You can select what shall be the main source as a default. You can still choose another when working with the system.
Display
This menu allows you to set the DVI mode – analogue, digital or automatic detection.
Settings Settings
Language
Here you can choose the language to be used.
System Information
This window contains information regarding the systems software and hardware versions and connections, SIP etc. In the unlikely event of a system malfunction, this information is typically what you will be asked by your technical staff.
Call Status
This window provides information on call rate, encryption as well as parameters for video and audio. In the unlikely event of a system malfunction, this information is typically what you will be asked by your technical staff.
Diagnostic Mode
For troubleshooting purposes you may enable additional system logging. Follow the on-screen instructions. In the unlikely event of a system malfunction, this information is typically what you will be asked by your technical staff.
Restart System
Restart your system as required. No settings are lost.

Settings Notes
Administrator Settings
These options will be password protected and include areas such as set date and time, call details, IP settings, network status, SIP, factory reset etc.
