Insertion of batteries
Hold the lower part in one hand and gently turn the cover counterclockwise until the mark and lift off.
Simply lift off the motor unit from the lower part. Insert 6 micro
batteries (AAA 1,5V) into the battery compartment, respecting the
+/- marks.
Note: Küchenprofi recommends the use of alkaline batteries to pro
long the running time and for a brighter light.
Replace the motor unit on to the lower part (put the barshaft into
the intended opening). Put the cover over the battery compartment and push until it is placed completely over the lower part.
Then turn clockwise until the mark. The mill is now ready to use.
Operation
Insert Parmesan cheese or any other type of hard cheese into the
drawer and open the bottom flap. Hold the lower part and gently
push the drawer simultaneously with one hand. Start grinding by
pushing the button on top. The appliance allows to grate nearly the
complete piece of cheese into fine flakes, just a small amount
remains.
We recommend to close the bottom flap after use.
Cleaning of the cheese grater
For cleaning the lower part can be disassembled (see below) and
completely put into a dishwasher. Clean the cover with a damp
cloth only.
Do not immerse the battery compartment in water or any other
liquid and do not put it into the dishwasher.
Disassembling
Remove cover and motor unit (see above).
Open the bottom flat and hold lower part and grater drum
simultaneously with one hand. Open the locking plate by turning it
counter-clockwise and remove it. Now the grater drum can be
removed. For assembling proceed in reverse order.
