2 ) CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ
Avant d'utiliser votre installation, nous vous remercions de lire soigneusement les
lignes qui suivent :
- n'essayer en aucun cas de réparer vous-même cet appareil. N'essayez pas d'ouvrir les
capots de protection.
- avant tout nettoyage éventuel, coupez le courant sur l'appareil.
- en cas d'odeur suspecte, de bruit anormal ou dégagement de fumée, mettez votre
appareil hors tension et avertissez votre installateur.
- n'utilisez jamais de solvants pétroliers ou chimiques pour nettoyer la télécommande.
- ne touchez pas la télécommande avec un objet métallique pointu, vous risquez de la
détériorer.
- ne mettez aucune source de chaleur sous la télécommande.

3 ) PRINCIPE ET EXPLOITATION D'UN PLANCHER CHAUFFANT
RAFRAÎCHISSANT
Pour l'utilisation d'un plancher chauffant, quelques idées clefs sont nécessaires :
Un plancher chauffant est un excellent moyen de chauffage car il utilise le rayonnement
à basse température pour chauffer harmonieusement l'ambiance sans aucun
mouvement parasite d'air.
Un plancher chauffant pour être efficace, n'a pas besoin et ne doit jamais être très chaud.

Tout au plus il sera sensiblement tiède par temps froid.
Compte tenu de l'effet rayonnement, le confort thermique est en général obtenu avec des
températures d'air plus basses qu'avec les moyens traditionnels de chauffage
(convection) .
Un autre avantage du plancher chauffant est sa grande stabilité de régulation, évitant les
écarts brusques de température. Néanmoins cette stabilité implique que le temps de
réaction est de l'ordre de quelques heures. Ceci veut dire qu'avec un plancher chauffant,
la mise en chauffe est toujours progressive et que les variations de température doivent
être le plus réduites possibles.
Compte tenu de ce qui précède, CIAT a opté pour une régulation basée sur une réponse

en fonction de la température extérieure.
La température du plancher est donc fonction de la température extérieure.

Le terminal de commande est réglé en usine pour une installation standard.
Vous devez configurer le terminal en fonction des spécificités de votre installation.
Cette opération est à effectuer une fois pour toute lors de la mise en route par
un personnel qualifié.

5 ) RÉGLAGE DES CONSIGNES
Dans les modes de fonctionnement chaud ( ) ou froid ( ), des appuis répétés sur
la touche OK permettent de basculer la consigne de température en Confort (Fig. 1), puis
en Economie (Fig. 2), puis en température Programmée hebdomadaire (Fig. 3), puis en
Confort etc..

6 ) PROGRAMMATION HEBDOMADAIRE
Pour chacun des 2 modes de fonctionnement ( ) ou froid ( ), vous disposez d'un
programme hebdomadaire qui permet à l'appareil de fonctionner heure par heure selon
la consigne confort ou la consigne économique.
6.1 Modifiez votre programmation hebdomadaire
Ces programmes sont modifiables.
Pour modifier la programmation du mode chaud, placez la molette sur la position

7 ) CODE DES DÉFAUTS - DIAGNOSTIC
7.1 Affichage
Lorsque la régulation électronique détecte un défaut de fonctionnement, l'écran affiche
un message du type dX.Y.

Chaque code d'erreur correspond à un défaut bien précis survenu sur l'appareil.

7.3 Réarmement
On distingue deux niveaux de défauts.
1) - Défaut temporaire : le numéro de défaut apparaît clignotant sur l'écran.
L'acquittement se fait automatiquement, dès retour à des conditions normales de
fonctionnement.

2) - Défaut permanent : le numéro de défaut apparaît fixe sur l'écran.
L'acquittement se fait manuellement.
Après avoir résolu le problème sur l'installation, placez la molette sur la position arrêt et

2 ) SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Before using your installation, please read the following lines carefully:
- never attempt to repair this device yourself. Do not try to open the protection casing.
- switch off the power to the device before possible cleaning operations.
- switch off the device and contact your fitter in case of suspicious odours, unusual noise
or smoke emissions.
- never use petrol or chemical-based solvents to clean the remote control.
- do not touch the remote control with a sharp metal object. You risk damaging it.
- do not place any heat source under the remote control.

3 ) PRINCIPLE AND OPERATION OF A FLOOR HEATING SYSTEM
To use a floor heating system, you must be aware of the following key points:
A floor heating system is an excellent means of heating since it uses low temperature
radiation to heat the atmosphere evenly without any interfering air movement.
Floor heating does not need to be very hot to be efficient. In fact it must never be very
hot. At most it should be quite warm during cold weather.

Given the effect of radiation, thermal comfort is generally obtained with lower air
temperatures than with traditional heating methods (convection).
Another advantage of floor heating is that it has very stable regulation, thereby avoiding
sudden changes of temperature. However, this great stability implies that reaction time is
in the region of several hours. This means that with floor heating, warming up is always
gradual and that temperature variations must be as low as possible.
Taking into account the above, CIAT has opted for regulation based on response as a
function of external temperature.
The temperature of the floor therefore depends on the temperature outdoors.
The specialists speak of regulation by water balance.

to weekly temperature programming (Fig. 3), then to Comfort, etc...

6 ) WEEKLY PROGRAMMING
For each of the 2 operating modes,heating ( ) or cooling ( ), you can use a weekly
program that permits the device to operate hour by hour as a function of the comfort or
economy setting.

7 ) FAULT CODE - TROUBLESHOOTING
7.1 Display

2 ) SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
Bitte lesen Sie, bevor Sie Ihre Anlage in Betrieb nehmen, aufmerksam die

- vor jeder eventuellen Reinigung die Stromzufuhr zum Gerät abstellen.

3 ) PRINZIP UND BETRIEB EINER BODENHEIZUNG/-KÜHLUNG
Für den Betrieb einer Bodenheizung gilt grundsätzlich Folgendes:
Eine Bodenheizung ist eine hervorragende Methode zur Raumheizung, denn sie nutzt
Strahlung bei niedrigen Temperaturen, um die Umgebung angenehm und direkt zu erwärmen,
ohne dass störende Luftzirkulationen dabei auftreten.
Um die richtige Wirkung zu erzielen, muss und darf eine Bodenheizung niemals sehr heiß
sein. Selbst bei kaltem Wetter darf sie allenfalls spürbar lauwarm sein.

Angesichts der Strahlungswirkung wird eine behagliche Wärme im Allgemeinen bei
niedrigeren Lufttemperaturen erzielt, als sie bei herkömmlichen Heizungen
(Konvektionsheizungen) erforderlich sind.
Ein weiterer Vorteil der Bodenheizung besteht in ihrer großen Regelstabilität, mit der jähe
Temperaturschwankungen vermieden werden. Dennoch bringt diese Stabilität mit sich,
dass die Reaktionszeit bei einigen Stunden liegt, d.h. dass bei einer Bodenheizung die
Erwärmung stets äußerst langsam erfolgt und dass deshalb abrupte
Temperaturschwankungen so gering wie möglich gehalten werden sollten.
Auf Grundlage dieser Erkenntnisse hat CIAT sich für eine Regelung entschieden, die in
Abhängigkeit von der Außentemperatur gesteuert wird. Die Temperatur des Bodens

richtet sich also nach der jeweils herrschenden Außentemperatur. Fachleute sprechen
hier von einer witterungsgeführten Regelung.
Die Einstellung der witterungsgeführten Regelung ist Aufgabe Ihres Installateurs, der die
entsprechende Anpassung unter Berücksichtigung Ihrer Wohnverhältnisse und Ihrer
Wünsche vornehmen wird.

4-2 ) Grundlegende Funktionen
4.2.1 Einstellung von Datum und Uhrzeit
Den Einstellungsknopf stellen auf:

4.2.3 Parametrisierung
Die Steuereinheit wird werkseitig für eine Standardinstallation eingestellt.
Diese Standardeinstellung ist entsprechend den individuellen Bedürfnissen und den
räumlichen Gegebenheiten nach Abschluss der Installation zu ändern und im Rahmen
der Inbetriebnahmearbeiten durch entsprechend geschultes Fachpersonal
vorzunehmen..

6 ) WOCHENPROGRAMMIERUNG
Für jeden der beiden Funktionsmodi (Heizen oder Kühlen ), verfügen Sie über
ein Wochenprogramm, mittels dessen die Funktionen des Geräts je nach Einstellung auf
Komfort oder Sparen stündlich wechseln können.
6.1 Änderung der Wochenprogrammierung
Diese Programme können geändert werden.

Jeder Fehlercode entspricht einem präzisen Ausfall, der in einem Teil des Gerätes
aufgetreten ist.

Es werden zwei Fehlerkategorien unterschieden:
1) - Vorübergehender Fehler : Die Fehlerkennziffer blinkt auf dem Bildschirm.
Automatische Beseitigung, sobald wieder normale Funktionsbedingungen herrschen.
2) - Permanenter Fehler : Die Fehlerkennziffer wird dauerhaft (nicht blinkend) dargestellt.

2 ) CONSIGNAS DE SEGURIDAD
Antes de utilizar su instalación, le rogamos lea detenidamente las siguientes
líneas:
- no intente en ningún caso reparar usted mismo este aparato. No intente abrir los capós
de protección.
- antes de cualquier limpieza eventual, corte la alimentación eléctrica del aparato.
- en caso de olor sospechoso, de ruido anormal o de producción de humo, desconecte
el aparato y avise a su instalador.
- no utilice nunca disolventes petrolíferos o químicos para limpiar el mando a distancia.
- no toque el mando a distancia con un objeto metálico puntiagudo, ya que podría
deteriorarlo.
- no coloque ninguna fuente de calor debajo del mando a distancia.

3 ) PRINCIPIO DE EXPLOTACIÓN DE UN SUELO RADIANTE
REFRIGERANTE
Para utilizar un suelo radiante, se necesitan algunas nociones clave:
Un suelo radiante es un excelente medio de calefacción, ya que utiliza la radiación a baja
temperatura para calentar armoniosamente el ambiente sin ningún movimiento parásito de aire.
Un suelo radiante, para ser eficaz, no necesita y no debe nunca estar demasiado
caliente. Todo lo más, estará sensiblemente templado con tiempo frío.

Teniendo en cuenta el efecto radiante, el confort térmico se obtiene generalmente con
temperaturas de aire más bajas que con los medios tradicionales de calefacción
(convección) .
Otra ventaja del suelo radiante es su gran estabilidad de regulación, evitando las
diferencias bruscas de temperatura. Sin embargo, esta estabilidad implica que el tiempo
de reacción sea del orden de unas horas. Esto quiere decir que con un suelo radiante, la
calefacción es siempre progresiva y que las variaciones de temperatura deben ser lo
más reducidas posible.
Teniendo en cuenta lo que precede, CIAT ha optado por una regulación basada sobre
una respuesta en función de la temperatura exterior. La temperatura del suelo depende

6 ) PROGRAMACIÓN SEMANAL
Para cada uno de los 2 modos de funcionamiento (calor ) o frío ), dispone de un
programa semanal que permite al aparato funcionar hora por hora, según la consigna
confort o la consigna económico.
6.1 Modificar la programación semanal

7 ) CÓDIGO DE FALLOS - DIAGNÓSTICO
7.1 Visualización
Si la regulación electrónica detecta un fallo de funcionamiento, la pantalla muestra un
mensaje de tipo dX.Y.

Cada código de error corresponde a un fallo bien preciso sobrevenido en el aparato.

La anulación se efectúa automáticamente al volver a unas condiciones de funcionamiento

Una vez resuelto el problema en la instalación, ponga la rueda en la posición paro y
