1 For Your Safety
1.1 Special Tips

We cannot show your all safety information in this section. For your safety and interest, we will insert such information in according with the circumstance described after this section. You must pay attention to these tips or warnings and follow the rules at all time in this manual wherever they are. Further more, you should pay attention to any other contents in this manual. That’s very important.
1.2 Please read the important safety clue on notebook!
To safe care your nicety high-tech laptop, you should read all the clues bellow: LCD safe care:
Do not lay any heavy objects on your laptop! Don’t take many objects in your pack! Don’t press the pack or the computer itself! Don’t scratch, twist or strike the LCD surface. Don’t place the screen of LCD in an environment where the temperature exceeds 40 Celsius degrees or the humidity exceeds 90%. Don’t expose the screen of LCD to direct sunlight or strong fluorescence. Don’t place any things between LCD screen and keyboard, such as pencil, documents and so on, which will break or scratch LCD screen. Please don’t use corrosive detergent to clean LCD screen. That may injure your LCD screen.
Don’t block the vent when power is on to avoid overheating. Don’t take out the disk when it is work. That may damage the data on it or OS failure. Don’t open laptop shell when power is on. That will damage your computer.
You should backup before formatting a disk. Formatting a disk will erase all the data or documents on it. Any loss or damage on data, documents or programs will not be charged.
The power adapter is designed office/family use in P.R.C. You may check and ensure that your electronic outlet is grounded. Connect the wire and adapter body firstly. Insert the plugs into your wall outlet. Connect your computer to the adapter at last. You shall check the pin and sockets and confirm that they have been connecting completely.
Don’t connect your computer to an power adapter from other company. This may
damage your computer.
Don’t drop it in accident. Don’t take your computer with only single hand. Only our service supplier or other we authorized can disassemble the products. Please
keep the seal or sticker. You will loss your warranty from us if removed. Don’t forget your pass word (BIOS)! If you forget your password unfortunately, you can contact our service center or your seller for help. But this may damage all the private
data on computer.

This laptop is designed for adults who have the basic knowledge about computer and are with the aware of self-care, not for young persons or psychopath. When it is necessary for a young person to use this laptop, he or she must be cared by his or her tutors or parents.

Please place the computer in a dry place with good ventilation to avoid harm
caused by exposing in bad environment (dampness, dust, food, liquid, direct exposure to sunlight, etc.).
Please keep the computer away from other household electronic appliances, such
as TV set, air conditioner, etc) to avoid electronic and magnetic interference.
Please don’t splash liquid or other impurities into the computer. Otherwise, it may
lead to short-circuiting of its internal components, which will further give rise to circle short or fire accidents.
Power on the computer when it is very cold may damage it deadly. Please expose
the computer for more than 2 hours at a place wh ere the temperature exceeds 10

Before using
Please check and make sure that the adapter matches your wall outlets according to this manual.

The computer should be placed and get warmth for more than 2 hours at a room where temperature is 10 to 35 after transporting or stored in cold (The temperature is below 10 ). Leave the computer without opening the packing. It will be warm automatically. Fast warmin g or heating may damage your computer.

Removal, transportation and storage
Take your computer with care. Don’t drop it in accident. The computer should be placed in the original packing box in case of transportation.
Computer with packing should be piled according with the symbol and indication of packing & transportation diagram on box. Also it should be transported in an airtight container.
The packing materials should be stored away from reaching of young persons. According to the rules and instruction of GB/T 9813-2000 General Specifications of
Micro-computer, after the computer is stored and transported at the environment it is
under 10°C, the computer should be left itself with pack for more than 2 hours at a place where temperature is 10 to 35 to avoid short circle caused by dew. Please uninstall the battery if you want to leave it for a long time. Put the computer and all parts in the carton box.
Battery
Do not disassemble or modify your batteries! Only batteries from our company or authorized by our company is permitted. Please deal with your worn batteries in accordance with local government rules or
laws. Or, you may return it back to our company.
1.4 Battery Info (Important)
Please follow the following rules and use your battery properly.
Newly-purchased battery: The new battery can only be charged after the original
electricity capacity is fully consumed.
Charge and discharge: Charge and discharge completely your battery at least one
time in 30 days to protect your battery and prolong its life.
Lifespan of battery: The battery capacity will reduce gradually after a period of time
of work. The standby or work time of the computer may be shorter. Even it can not be charged fully (100%). If the work time of the battery is shorter clearly, it should be replaced.
To save the battery power: When you are on trip out of house and cannot find a
place to charge your battery, you should make the best use of the battery and try to prolong its work time. Some references may be helpful at below:
A. Senior power management: The senior power management will manage and
assign battery power. This will reduce some parts’ work speed, such as CPU, and reduce the power requirement.
B. The brightness of LCD: The LCD may consume much power. Please adjust and
get a dim backlight will safe more power.
C. Software and accessories: Exit real time communication and all other programs
which are not in use now. Remove accessories not in use, such as USB mouse, USB disk, and PCMCIA card.
Q & A:
How to fully discharge the battery?
Power on your computer and leave it till it powers off automatically. Or reset your computer when battery gets faint and pause it on BIOS interface. Your computer will power off automatically when the battery is flat completely.
How to full charge the battery?
Connect your computer to a wall outlet with the adapter and check the LED indicator of charge on the wheel. Yellow LED indicates that battery is in charge. Green LED indicates battery charged fully. Access control panel>power>ammeter on Windows XP system. 100% ammeter means full charge.
How to maintain the battery?
Charge and discharge completely your battery at least one time in 30 days.

Use battery only with this commuter!
Only original battery supplied by our company can be install on the computer.
Do not dismantle or shred battery!
Do not dispose of batteries in a fire or heavy as they may explode.
Don’t touches or short circle the contacts with metal objects on the battery.
In the event of a battery leak, do not allow the liquid to come in contact with skin
or eyes. In the event of such a leak, flush your skin or eyes immediately with water, or seek medical help.
1.5 Power adapter
Our power adapters are qualified, safe and efficient. Please check your wall outlets to make sure of that they are grounded and safe. That’s very important for your computer to work in good circumstance. Computer power adapters should be according with safe rules listed as bellow:
·Authorized by CCC criterion.
·Wall outlets should be grounded completely.
·Plugs and pins are according with the instructions and rules of GB 1002-1996/GB
2099.1-1996.
Danger!
Thunders may shoot computer and persons through the wires and adapter. Do not connect or power on your computer with a power adapter during lighting storm. It may damage the power adapter or the computer, even wound you.

1.6 Ergonomics
ReminderWhen you work or play games on a computer, please adjust your environment and arrange your computer devices so as to make your body in a
comfortable and flexible situation. Stay still for a long time may go against health. Information here may be helpful:
1. Posture-body: Choose proper desks and chairs for you. Adjust your chair go get an
easy height and angle for your body.
2. Posture-legs: Clear all objects under the desk to make adequate places for your legs.
3. Posture-head: Put the computer in front of you on the desk and move it at a better
place. Twist the LCD and get a proper angle and distance. Peoples short sight should
take remedy glasses.
4. Light condition: Please reduce the back-light of the LCD at a dark room. Don’t face
to light at a bright room. The LCD will be dim in strong light.
5. Operate your computer: Put your hands on the keypad with relaxation. Put left first
finger on F button while right first finger on J button. Move your fingers on touchpad gently. Don’t press touchpad with hard. You may connect a USB mouse if you want obtain operation fluently.
6. Disperse heat: Pay attention to computer heat dispersing during summary. It’s uneasy
to operate a thermal laptop. Don’t put any thing at the left side of this computer. Otherwise, the air-out vents may be blocked. Don’t put this computer on soft object against block air-in vents on the back.
1.7 Safety Instructions
Wall outlets should be installed at a place obviously around the desk or computer. Don’t pull the plug or wire. Catch the plug firmly and pull it out.
Don’t place computer at a place with water or other liquid. Computers should be placed on a steady desk. Don’t put your computer on unstable
surfaces against dropping.
Put the power adapter at a corner to prevent hitch or crash. Don’t put any objects on the computer as they may press and scratch it. Don’t put any
objects on keypad as they may damage the display screen when fold.
We recommend you not to connect the adapter or computer to wall outlets if you don’t
use it just for minutes.
Don’t douse water or other liquid on the computer as this it may get short circle or
fire.
Please go to our service center or your seller for repairing:
a. Wire or plugs worn or broken. b. Spatter water or other liquid on the computer. c. Computer has been exposed in rain or water. d. Try your best to deal with trouble according to manual directions but failure. e. Dropped and broken. f. Other apparent damage or broken.
It may cause damage on this device to store or use it at extreme temperature. Put the power adapter away from water or other liquid. Don’t drop water on it.

This laptop computer is tested on Windows XP operate system. Any information about this computer work bases on the system. We will not confirm that this computer will work well if you install other operate systems.
2 Product Overview
2.1 Instruction
Your computer is made by the cut-edge technology of Intel ® Corporation. It’s powerful than what you see it. You can update its main memory and hard disk for further requirements in the future. The LED back-light of LCD will show you more sharp and light display, and will save more power. It’s very easy to connect the Internet since this computer has equipped with fast Ethernet LAN and Wireless LAN. And you may talk with another one face to face with its camera on the LCD.

3 How to Use
3.1 LED Indicators
There are 6 LED indicators on the wheel.
1. Power indicator (lighting): The computer is power on.
2. Charger indicator: Yell light-Charging; Green light-Charging finished.
3. HDD indicator: The hard disk is working.
4. Wireless LAN indicator: The Wireless LAN is enabled.
5. Number Lock indicator: Number Lock enabled.
6. Capital Lock indicator: Capital Lock enabled.
3.2 Key-Combinatio n
Fn+F2 Enable/Disable Wireless LAN. Fn+F3 Mute/No Mute. Fn+F4 Increase Sound Volume. Fn+F5 decrease Sound Volume. Fn+F6 Play/Pause(Windows Media Player). 3.3 How to Use
Power on
Press the power button to power on your computer. Before powering on your computer, you should make sure that the battery is charged and installed on computer. If the battery power is lower or flat, you may connect your
computer to power adapter and the standard wall socket. After powering on, the power indicator will light on. The charger indicator will light on, too. If the charger indicator is yellow, it means that the battery is charging. While the green light means that the battery is full charged.
Power off
You can click start-power off-power off. When the computer needs to power off during working, you should finish your work and save your documents firstly.
• Reboot
If you have installed new hardware devices on the computer, or install/update drivers for any hardware, you will be asked to reboot your computer.
• Standby
After a time when there is no any operation on the computer, it will enter standby mode. The power indicator will flash. We recommend you to set a shorter time for standby mode when there is no any wall socket power around. This will help you to save the battery power.
• Sleep
If you lay the computer for a longer time, it may enter sleep mode. When the battery is flat completed without connect to any other power supply, the computer will enter sleep mode too. The computer will store all the information on hard disk before sleeping, and will load on all the information when power on after sleeping.
3.4 Touch-Pad
The touch pad can feel and trace your finger when you more your finger on it. You can see the cursor on the display screen to operate. It’s not easy for a green hand. This will take a time for you to feel and use it freely. Also you can connect a USB mouse for easy work.
3.5 Display Screen
The TFT LCD with high definition looks very clear and easy for eyes. It can shows sharp imagines and texts with true color. Compared to other parts on the computer, display will need much power supply. We recommend you to adjust the back-light to save power when using only the battery. Display is breakable products. Do Not touch it with hard or sharp objects. Do Not put any objects on your computer. Don’t put any objects on the computer when open the folder or display. This may cause crush on display when closing it. Don’t touch it with your finger. To clear the LCD softly with little-wet cotton.
3.6 LAN
Your computer equipped with a fast Ethernet LAN (10/100Base-TX) and Wireless LAN. You can connect internet or intranet very easy. You can follow the system indication to connect.
4 BIOS
4.1 BIOS
BIOS: Basic Input & Output System. We will tell you how to access BIOS and edit its values. This will help you to use your computer more free and easy. Also we will tell you how to edit the security settings.
Power on your computer. Press Del at first when the computer says: Press DEL to run setup! You will enter the BIOS ULTILITY interface.
We have made the default settings on BIOS in our factory. These settings match all the hardware device and confirm that the computer works well. But sometimes you need to edit some items in BIOS when you want to change or update some hardware devices. We recommend you to set the password for security. This may stop a non-illegal user. If you have stored much important documents on the computer, a password will be very important.
NoteThe BIOS may be different according to different models.
4.2 How to modify BIOS settings
You will change some BIOS setting value. You may be asked to enter BIOS and
make changes when you power on your computer. The changes may be:
Loading default settings. Changing an item setting value. Changing some settings value to get fast.
If you want to access BIOS, please press DEL at the first display when it says: Press DEL to run setup!
BIOS Options:
you may enter Main Menus>Sub Menus>Options and get to an item/option. Press Up or Down to select an option. Press Enter and find the Sub Menus. Select an item/option and press Enter again to confirm. Press Esc to return. Press F10 to save and exit.

5 Install Hardware Drivers
Please install operation system, Windows XP, and then install hard ware drivers. Input
the CD-ROM in your CD driver. You will find the folders, such as Audio. Double-click
this folder and open it. Find the auto-run programs, setup.exe, run it. Follow the indication to finish. The computer will ask to reboot. Click Yes to reboot.

6 Trouble Shooting
All of the computer have been tested completely in our factory. But we can not sure that computers you take work well completely. It is needed for you to know how to treat with some faults or troubles. And we will tell how to do.
6.1 Sound Adapt er
No sound: Double-click the speaker icon at the right side of taskbar to see if you have
mute the wave sound option. Press Fn+F9 to enlarge sound volume.
Record wrong: Double-click the speaker icon to see if the MIC volume is muted.
①Double click the speaker icon. You will see the Sound Volume Contr oll er. ②Press Option>Attribute. Select and enable Microphone Record Volume. ③Click Yes. You will find this option on Sound Volume Controller. Enable this
option.
6.2 Hard Disk
Hard disk loss or failure: Check the pin and make sure if they are stall firmly. For a new hard disk, you should make partitions and format them. If you dropped your computer by accident, the hard disk may have been damaged.
Hard disk is slow: Several facts may cause this fault.
If you have use your computer for a long time (more than several months),there
will be much data fragments on the hard disk. This will slow your hard disk. We
recommend you to run the Hard Disk Fragments Clean Up. This may take much
time (more than sixty minutes). There are some virus or Trojan horse on hard disk. You have to run anti-virus program on your computer to kill them.
File broken: You need to run Hard Disk Scanner to repair.
6.3 Display Screen

If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: -- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna. -- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver. -- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected. -- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.
Black Screen: Check your computer and find if it is in standby or sleep mode. Or press press Fn+F11 for more light. Flashing: This display screen will flash several times. Don’t worry about it.
6.4 Main Memory
You have installed a new memory bar. But the computer cannot find it. You’d better check it and make sure of that the memory bar is installed firmly. Or, this memory bar get malfunction. Sometimes, there pops up a window: Memory Lack!
7 Compatibility
7.1 Hard Ware Compatibility
Your computer can connect many accessories, such as mouse, keypad, printer and scanner, etc. The accessories from our factory are compatible completely. But some accessories may not be compatible with your computer. You should make sure that a accessory is compatible with your computer when you want to purchase it. We recommend you to read the user manual or references about the accessory carefully before connect it to your computer. You can also contact the seller of this accessory and ask for help.
7.2 Software Compatibility
