1. EINSATZ DER UHR BEIM TAUCHEN
Der Tauchsp ort ist eine sichere und befriedigende Freizeitaktivit ät, sofern die Tauchregeln be achtet
werden. D ennoch ist s tets mit bestimmten Risiken zu rechnen, so z.B. mit Taucher lähmung oder unvorher gesehenen Unfällen. Lassen Sie sich daher vor dem Tauchen in den richtigen Tauchverfahren
unterweisen und führen Sie vor jede m Tauchgang die erforderlichen Sicher heitsprüfungen durch. Diese
Uhr sollten Sie erst dann benutzen, we nn Sie sich gründlich mit den Bedienungsanweisungen und Vorsichtsmaßnahmen ver traut gemacht haben und die se in allen Einzelheiten verstehen. Ein nicht in dieser
Bedienungsanleitung vorgesehener und unsachgemäßer Gebrauch kann zu Fehlfunktionen führen.

Dieses Produkt ist für Sport tauchen bis zu einer Tiefe von 15-20 Metern vor gesehen,
wobei der Tiefenmesser jedoch bis zu einer Tiefe von max. 80 Metern arbeitet.

Ein möglichst frühze itiger Bat teriewechsel empfi ehlt sich in jedem Fall, wobei die frische Batterie
unter nor malen Bedingungen eine Lebensdauer von ca. 2 Jahren hat.
Nach dem Tauchen ist unbedingt eine ausreichende Ruhepause gemäß den Tauchregeln einzuhalten. Da s Fliegen in einem Luftfahrzeug oder den Aufstieg in größe Höhen direkt nach dem
Tauchen ohne ausreichende Pause kann zur Dekompressionskrankheit (Tauchkr ankheit) führen.
Der Tiefenmesser der Uhr darf nur als Hilfs- oder Sicherung sfunktion benutzt werden.
BESONDERE VORSICHT (Sicheres Tauchen)
Benutzen Sie dieses Produkt er st dann, wenn Sie in den richtigen Tauchverfahr en unterwiesen wurden.
Tauchen Sie stets zusammen und mit einer anderen Per son.
Diese Uhr ist kein Ersatz für einen Tauchpartner.
Ein zu rascher Aufstieg zur Oberfl äche beim Tauchen ist unbe dingt zu vermeiden, denn dadur ch
kann der Kör per geschädigt u. U. sogar eine Taucher lähmung her vorgerufen werden. Daher ist
eine sichere Aufstiegsgesc hwindigkeit unerläßlich. Für das Sporttauchen wird eine Aufstiegsgeschwindigkeit von 9 Metern oder weniger pro Minute empfohlen, um die ob en genannten Probleme
von vornherein auszuschließen.
BESONDERE VORSICHT (Keine Benutzung des Tiefe nmessers unter folgenden Umständen)
In Höhen über 4000 Metern: In diesem Fall ist eine präzise T iefenmessung durch die Uhr unmöglich.
Bei Temperaturen außerhalb des garantierten Temperaturbereiches: -10°C bis +40°C.

1. EINSATZ DER UHR BEIM TAUCHEN
Bei potentiell gefährlichen Tätigkeiten oder Situationen:
Diese Uhr ist nicht für den Einsatz während Notfällen auf See und dgl. vorgesehen.
Bei er forderlichem Einsat z eines Druc kmesser s (Nanometers):
Diese Uhr ist ausschließlich für die Messung von Wasserdruc kstufen ausgelegt.
Tauchen in einem Umfeld mit Heliumanreic herung:
Diese Uhr ist nicht in einem mit Helium angereicher ten Umfeld einzusetzen,
da sonst F ehlfunktionen oder Be triebsausfall drohen.
VORSICHT
Bei Aktivierung der Batterie-Warnanzeige: Sobald die Bat terie weitgehend verbraucht ist, sc haltet
das Display autom. von Tiefenmesser- auf die Uhrzeit-Anzeige um, der Sekundenzeiger be ginnt mit
2-Sekunden-Schritten zu springen.
Bei Anhalten oder Fehlfunktionen der Uhr.
Bei erheblichen Anzeigedifferenzen zwischen dem Tiefenmesser (der Uhr)
und ander en Tiefenmeßinstrumenten.

In jeder der unten gezeigten Betrie bsarten:
Kann durc h Drücken von K nopf (M) für 2 Sekunden oder länger
in den Tauch-Modus (Bereitschaft-Status) geschaltet werden.
Schaltet die Uhr bei Ak tivierung des Wassers ensors
automatisch in den Tauch-Modus (Bereitschaft-Status).
Bei jedem Drücken von (M) wird das Display wie unten gezeigt in eine andere Betriebs art umgeschaltet.
Bei langem Drücken von (( M)) wird der Was sersens or aktiviert (siehe Kapitel „TAUCH-MODUS“).

Für genaue Messungen die Uhr abnehmen und
ein Zeit am Messort liegen lassen.

wechseln in der Reihenfolge Sekunden - Minuten - Stunde - Monat - Datum - Jahr - 12/24

ANALOG-EINSTELLUNG ALLGEMEIN
(A) drücken, um zwischen 12-Stunden- und
24-Stundenformat umzuschalten.
Bleibt die Uhr 3 Minuten oder länger im Korr ektur-Modus, ohne dass die Ste llen geänderet werden, wird der Korrekturstatus aufgehoben und
die Uhr schaltet automatisch in den normalen
Zeitanzeige-Modus zurück.
Wird im Uhr zeitkorrektur-Modus K nopf (M)
gedrüc kt, schaltet die Uhr in den normalen Anzeige-Modus zurück (manuelles Rückschalten).
Die Uhr hat einen automatisierten Kalender,
so dass am Ende eines Monats keine Korrektur
erforderlich ist.
Die Krone drehen um den Stunden- und
Minutenzeiger in eine Po sition 1 Minute
später al s die Digitalzeit zu stellen.
Die Krone entriegeln und herausziehen,
um den Sekundenzeiger an der „0“ Position
anzuhalten.
Die Krone hineindrücken, um den Sekundenzeiger zu s tarten sobald der Sekundenanzeiger der Digitalze it „0“ erreicht hat.
HINWEI S: Immer zuers t die Digital-Einstellung und dann die Analog-Einstellung
durchführen.

6. DIE FUNKTION DES REGISTERRINGES (LÜNETTE)
Mit dem Registerring können Sie schnell und einfac h die vergangene Tauchzeit
sowie die noch zur Verfügung stehende Tauchzeit und somit ihre Tauchdauer
feststellen.
BESTIMMUNG DER VERG ANGENEN ZEI T:
Stellen Sie die Null-Position der Lünette (gekennzeichnet mit einem Leuchtpunkt) auf
den Minutenzeiger und lesen Sie die ver gangene Zeit auf dem Registerring ab.
BESTIMMUNG DER NOC H ZUR VERFÜGUNG STEHENDEN ZEIT:
Stellen Sie die Null-Pos ition auf eine Wunschzeit und lesen
Sie die verbleibende Zeit auf der Lünette ab.

HINWEI S: Beachten Sie, dass der Alarm im Tauch-Modus nicht ertönt.
Knopf (B) drücken: die blinkenden Stellen
wechse ln in der Reihenf olge Stunde - Minuten.
Knopf (A) drücken um die Minuten einzustellen.
(Hält man Knopf (A) gedrückt, verändert sich
die Stelle mit hoher Geschwindigkeit).
Knopf (B) und (M) drücken, um die Einstellung
abzuschließen. Das Format der Alarmzeit
(12/24 Stundenf ormat) entspricht dem im Uhrzeit/Kalender-Modus eingestellten Format.

Wenn die Uhr 3 Minuten oder länger im Alarm-Modus bleibt, schaltet die Uhr automatisch
in den normalen Zeitanzeige-Modus zurück.

Wenn durch Drücken von Knopf (M)
Stoppuhr-Modus in den Protokoll-Modu s umgeschaltet wird, wird Protokoll I angezeigt.
Bei jedem Tauchgang speichert die Uhr automatisc h die folgenden 8 Arten von Protokolldaten,
die wie rechts gezeigt in der Reihenfolge I, II, III und IV abgerufen werden können.
Bei jedem Drücken von K nopf (A) wird in der
Reihenfolge I, II, II und IV zur nächsten
Protokollanzeige gewechselt.
Nur wenn Pr otokoll I angezeigt ist, wird automatisch zu Protokoll II umgeschaltet, wenn
Knopf (A) nicht innerhalb 2 Sekunden gedrückt
wird.
HINWEIS: In seltenen Fällen kann es vorkommen, dass nicht automatisch von der Protokoll I Anzeige zum Protokoll II umgeschalten wird, selbst wenn der Wassersensor Nässe erkennt und die
Uhr in den Tauchmodus (Bereitschaft-Mo dus) geschalte t wird. In diesem Fall Knopf (A) drücken
um die Anzeige umzuschalten.

ANZAHL DER TAUCHGÄNGE
Die Anzahl der an einem bestimmten Tag durc hgeführten Tauchgänge (9 max.) können gezählt
werden. Die Zählung erfolgt jeweils für einen Tag.
MONAT UND DATUM
Datum und Monat des Tauchgangs.
MAXIMALTIEFE
Die maximale Tiefe, die bei einem Tauchgang erreicht wurde.
TAUC HZEIT
Die Gesamtzeit, die der Taucher in einer T iefe von mehr als 1 Meter verbr ingt. Wenn der Tauch er
innerhalb 10 Minuten nach Aufsteigen in eine Tiefe von weniger als 1 Meter wieder tie fer als 1
Meter gelangt, wird die Zeitmessung ab dem Zeitpunk t fortgesetzt, wo sie abgeborchen wurde
und die summierte Zeit wird aufgezeichnet.
TAUC HBEGINN
Die Zeit, bei der eine Tauchtiefe von mehr als 1 Meter erreicht wird.
TAUC HENDE
Die Zeit, bei der eine Tauchtiefe von weniger als 1 Meter err eicht wird.
DURCHSCHNITTLICHE TIEFE
Die durchschnittliche Tiefe des Tauchgangs.
NIEDRIGSTE TEMPERATUR
Die niedr igste Temperatur, die bei einem Tauchgang aufgezeic hnet wurde.
HINWEIS: Diese Protokolldaten werden getrennt als Protokoll I, II, II und IV angezeigt.

Das bedeutet, dass die Protokolldaten nicht korrekt sind.

Wenn während des Tauchgangs die eingestellte
Tiefe erreicht wir d, ertönt 15 Sek. lang der Tiefenalar m. Der Einstellbereich für den Tiefenalarm
beträgt 1 Meter bis 80 Meter. Wenn Sie tiefer tauchen, als e ingestellt ist, wird dieser jede Minute
wieder holt. Die Anzahl der Wieder holungen des
Alarms kann zwische n 0 bis 5 oder jede Minute
ausgewählt werden. Die A nzahl der Wiederholungen de s Alarms während eines Tauchgangs
kann vorher eingeste llt werden. Wenn Sie z.B.
die Anzahl der Wdh. auf „1“ einstellen, ertönt de r
Alarm einmal während eines Tauchgangs.
TAUC HZEITALARM
Wenn beim Tauchgang die eingestellte Zeit
erreicht wird, ertönt 15 Sekunden lang der
Tauchzeitalarm. Dieser wird nicht wiederholt.

HINWEIS: Je nach den Umgebungsbedingungen (z.B. Geräusche von Luftblasen) und dem Zus tand
der Uhr selbst kann es sein, dass die Alar me im Wasser schwer zu hören sind. Äußerste Vorsicht.
EINSTELLEN DES TIEFENALARMS / TAUCHAL ARMS
Knopf (B) 2 Sekunden oder länger drücken, um
in den Tauchalarmkorrektur-Modus zu schalten
(der einges tellte Tiefenwert beginnt zu blinken).
Zu diesem Zeitpunt wechselt die Digit alanzeige
(II) von der Tauchze italarmanzeige in die Anzeige
der Anzahl von Alarmwiederholungen.

10. TAUCHALARM-MODUS
Knopf (B) drücken, um in den Kor rektur-Modus für die Anzahl der Alarmwiederholungen zu schalten (die einge stellte Zahl beginnt zu blinken).
HINWEIS: Hält man Knopf (A) gedrückt, ändert
sich der Wert mit hoher G eschwindigkeit.
Durch dr ücken von Knopf (A) die Anzahl der alarmwiederholungen ändern. Die Anzeige für die
Alarmhäufi gkeit wech selt in der folgenden Reihe nfolge ON - OFF - 1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5.
ON: Der Tiefenalarm er tönt jede Minute, wenn die Tauchtiefe tiefer als die eingestellte Tiefe ist.
OFF: Der Tiefenalarm ist deaktiviert.
Knopf (B) drücken, um die Tauchzeitalarmanzeige in den Korrektur-Modus umzuschalte n
(der einges tellte Wert f ür den Tauchzeitalarm beginnt zu blinken).
Durch dr ücken von Knopf (A) die Zeit für den Tauchzeitalarm einstellen. Die Anzeige wechselt in
der folgenden Reihenfolge -- - 05 - 10 - 15 - 20 - 25 - ... - 95 - --.
Knopf (B) oder (M) drücken, um das Einstellverfahren abzuschliessen.

Zum Umschalten der Uhr auf den Tauch-Modus aus einer anderen Betribesart 2 Sekunden oder länger Knopf (M) drücken; auf dem Display erscheint dann die B ereitsc haft-Anzeige. Wenn man die Uhr
etwas 60 Minuten lang in diesem Status beläßt, schaltet sie automatisch in die vorherige Be triebsar t
zurück.

Wenn nach dem Beginn eine s Tauchgangs eine T iefe von 1 Mete r erreicht wird, während die
Bereitschaft-Anzeige blinkt, schaltet die Anzeige automatisch zu Tiefenmessungs-A nzeige um.
Wenn die Tauchtiefe geringe r als 1 Meter ist, schaltet die Anzeige automatisch zu 0m-Anzeige
nach Tiefenmessung um. Wenn der Taucher innerhalb von 10 Minuten erneut tiefer als 1 Meter
taucht, wird die Tauchzeitmessung fortgeset zt.
Wenn während der Anzeige der 0m-Anzeige n. Tiefenmessung Knopf (M) 2 Sekunden oder länger
gedrüc kt wird, schaltet die Uhr in de n Uhrzeit-/Kalender-Modus zurü ck.

HINWEIS: Wenn „ER“ (Fehler) angezeigt wird
und die Tiefenanzeige b linkt bedeutet, dass
die Tiefenmessung nicht korrek t ist.
Bei Err eichen einer Tauchtiefe von 1.0 Me ter beginnt die Tauchzeit-Messung. Sie stoppt, wenn
die Tauchtiefe geringer als 1.0 Meter ausfällt.
Wenn inner halb von 10 Minuten nach Stoppen
der Tauchzeit-Messung erneut eine Tauchtiefe
von 1.0 Meter n erreicht wird, wird die TauchzeitMessung bei der Zeit fortgeset zt, wo sie anhielt.
Die summierte Zeit wird aufgezeichnet.

Die Wassertemperatur-Messung b eginnt eine

bei der Benutzung der Uhr an Land.
WASSERSENSOR-PRÜFWARNUNG
Wenn der Wassersensor aktivier t sit und sich die Uhr im
Tauch-Modus (mit der Bereitschaft-Anzeige) befi ndet und sich
eine Stunde oder länger nichts ändert, erscheint die Anzeige
„CHECK “ (Prüfen) als Wass ersensor-Prüfwarnung auf der Digi-

13. FEHLERBEHEBUNG 13. FEHLERBEHEBUNG
DER SEKUNDENZEIGER BEWEGT SICH IN 2-SEKUNDEN-SCHIRTTEN
Das passiert, wenn die Batterie-Warnanzeige aktiviert wird, die den Benutzer warnt, dass die Batterie weitgehend er schöpft ist. In diesem Fall sollte so schnell wie möglich die Batterie ausgewec hselt wer den. Die Uhr zeigt dann noch korr ekt die Zahl an, doch andere Funktionen sind wie folgt
beeinträchtigt:
Die Alarme ertönen nicht.
Das Umsc halten in den Tauch-Modus (Bereitschaf t-Status) ist deaktiviert.
Im Tauch-Modus (Bereits chaft-Status) ist das Umschalten in die
Tiefenmessung-Anzeigen deaktiviert.
Während die Tiefenmessung-Anzeigen auf der Uhr angezeigt sind,
ertönen die Alarme nicht. Brec hen Sie den Tauchgang sofort ab.
Wenn die Temper aturmessung-Anzeigen auf der Uhr aktiviert sind,
schaltet die Uhr in den vor herigen Modus zurück.
ES KANN NICHT VOM TAUCH-MODUS (BEREI TSCHAF T-ANZEIGE) ODER (0M-ANZEIGE) IN DEN UHRZEIT-/KALENDER-MODUS UMGESCHALTET WERDEN
DIE TIEFENANZEIGE BETRÄGT EIN METER ODER MEHR, OBGLEICH DIE UHR
AN LAND BENUTZT WIRD
In diesem Fall muss nach dem im Kapitel („GESAMTRÜCKSTELLUNG “) beschriebenen Verfahren
vorgegangen werden. Wenn bei rausziehen der Krone in die Betriebsart Tauch-Modus (Bere itschaf tAnzeige) oder in den Uhrzeit/Kalender-Modus umges chalten wird, liegt kein Problem vor. Ist diese
Betriebsartumschaltung nicht möglich, muss die Gesamtrückstellung durchgeführt werden.
FEHLFUNKTION DER DIGITALANZEIGE
Wird die Uhr versehentlich einem starken Stoß oder statisc hen Elektrizität ausgesetzt, kann es zu
einer Fehlfunktion der Digitalanzeige kommen. In diesem Fall muß die Gesamtrückstellung durchgeführt werden.
NACH BATTERIEWECHSEL
Nach einem Batteriewechsel muss eine Gesamtrückstellung durc hgeführt werden und nac h dem im
Kapitel ( „GESAMTRÜCKSTELLUNG“) beschriebenen Ver fahren vor gegangen wer den.

15. UMGANG MIT DER BATTERIE
LEBENSDAUER
MITGELIEFERTE BATTERIE
Eine frisch eingesetzte Bat terie hat eine Lebensdauer von ungefähr zwei Jahren.
Die beim Kauf der Uhr bereits eingesetzte Bat terie dient beim Hersteller als Stromquelle für
die Funktions- und Leistungsprüfungen vor dem Versand. Beac hten Sie bitte daher, dass diese
Batte rie u. U. nicht wie im Normalfall zwei Jahre vorhält.
AUSTAUSCH DER BATTERIE
Überla ssen Sie bit te den Batterieaustausch dem Fachmann. Wenden Sie sich daher bei verbrauchter Batter ie an einen CHR IS BENZ Fachhändler oder dir ekt an unser S ervice Ce nter.
Beim Batteriewec hsel sollte auch eine Prüfung der Wasse rdichtigkeit, der einwandfreien
Funktion aller Teile sowie ein Austausc h des Dichtungsmaterials erfolge n.
Vor länger em Gebrauc h der Uhr im Ausland empfi ehlt sich ein Bat terieaustausch, da u. U. diese
Dienstleistung dann vor Ort und Stelle nicht ver fügbar ist. Der Batterieaustausch, die Inspektion
der Uhr sowie der Austausch von Ersatzteilen ist - auch in der Garantiezeit - gebührenpfl ichtig.

Die Nullzeit ist beim Tauchen mit Drucklufttauchgerät die durc h die Dekompre ssionstabelle
vorgegebene Zeits panne, in der man ohne
Dekompressionss topp (zeitliches Verharren in
einer be stimmten Tiefe) an die Wasseroberfl äche
zurück kehren kann. Je tiefer man taucht, desto

1. DIVING WITH THIS WATCH
Diving can be safe, enjoyable activity when diving rules are properly followed. It is always, however, accompanied by certain risks inc luding diver´s paralysis and unanticipated accid ents. Before diving ple ase
obtain proper dinving instruction and be sure to conduct safety checks. Please use this watch only af ter
you have read and fully understood the operating pr ocedures and cautions in these instructions. Using
this watc h other than as in dicated in these instructions may result in failur ed of the watch to function
properly.

This product is rec ommended for sports diving to depths of up to 15-20 meters,
although the depth indicator will measure depths up to 80 meters.

Early battery replacement is recommended. A new battery will last approximately 2 years.
However, this will very greatly depending on the frequently of depthme ter use.
Be sure to reset suf fi ciently after diving, as specifi ed by diving rule s. Riding in an air plane or
moving to a high altitude to o soon after diving may caus e decompre ssion sickness.
Use the depthmeter function of thi s watch only as an auxiliary or backup instr ument.
WARNING (Safe diving)
Use this product only after having r eceived pr oper instruction in safe diving procedures.
Always use the buddy system. This watch is not a substit ute for a diving p artner.
Avoid rapid ascents whe n diving, as these adversely affect the human body, including causing
diver´s paralysis. Maintain a safe ascent speed while diving. An ascent of 9 meters or less per
minute is recommende d for sport s diving to avoid various possible problems.

CAUTION
The low-battery warning indicator is activated: As the battery approaches the end of its life, the
display switches automatically from the depthmeter display to the time display and the second
hand begin to move in 2 second steps.
The watch stops or exhibits any abnormal functioning.
The watch its depth re adings diff er greatly from those of ot her depth measuring instruments.

Every dive makes the watch memorize the following 8 types of log data automatically,
which can be recalled in the order of I, II, III and IV as shown on the right side.

NUMBER OF DIVES
The number of dives per formed in a particular day. A maximum of 9 dives can be counted. Counting is initiated day by day.
MONTH AND DATE
Date and month when diving is performed.
MAXIMUM DEPTH
The maximum depth that was reached in one diving.
DIVE T IME
Total time when the diver remains deeper than the depth of 1 meter. If the diver goes again into
the water deeper than 1 me ter within 10 minutes after diving depth bec omes shallower than
1 meter, the dive time counting resumes the time when the measurement is stopped and the
accumulative time is recorded successively.
DIVE START TIME
The time when a dive depth reaches 1m.
DIVE END T IME
The time, the dive depth be comes shallower than 1m.
AVERAGE DEPTH

DEPTH ALARM FUNCTION
When the set depth is reached during a dive, the
alarm will beep for 15 seconds. The depth alarm
setting range is 1 meter (4ft) up to 80 meter
(260ft). If you continue to dive deeper than set
alarm, every minutes the alarm can be ac tivated
repeatedly. The number of times the alarm will be
activated can be chosen from 0 to 5 or every minutes. The number of times the alarm will sound
during one dive is present on the watch. For
example, if you set the number of times at „1“,
the alarm sounds only once during one dive.
DIVE TIME ALARM FUNCTION
When the set time comes after star ting a dive,
the alarm will beep for 15 se conds. This alarm will
not be repeated.

the digital display (II) changes from the dive

10. DIVE ALARM MODE
Set a diving depth at which you want the alarm
to sound by pressing button (A). Each time button (A) is pressed, the depth setting becomes
deeper by 1 meter (4ft). A mximum setting is 80
meters (260ft). With the maximum exceeded,
the set ting is returned to 1 meter (4ft).

Press button (B) to switch the dive time alarm display to the c orrecting mode

When in any other mode, the watch will enter the diving mode with the display changing to (Ready
state) by pressing button (M) for 2 seconds or longer. If (Ready display) put in this way is allowed to
stand for about 60minutes, the display automatically returns to the preceding mode.
One of the following thre e displays is shown in the diving mo de:
GENERAL
When a depth of 1 meter (4ft) is reached after you begin diving with the watch displaying (Ready
display), the display will automatically change to Depth measurement displays.
When the diving depth becomes less t han 1 meter (4ft), the display will automatically change to
0m (ft) display after depth measurement. If the diver dives again deeper than 1 meter within 10
minutes, the dive time counting resume s.
If button (M) is pressed for 2 seconds or longer with the display of 0m (ft) display after depth
measurement, then the watch returns to the time/calendar mode.

In case of a r apid change in depth over 4m (15ft) for one
second, the fl ashing „ER“ (Error) appears on the Digital display
(II). If the sens or is faulty, „ER“ (Error) is shown even when the
watch is used on land.
WATER SENSOR CHECK ALERT
Although the water sensor is activated and the watch enters the
diving mode with (Ready st ate), if one hour or longer is elapsed
without any action, „CHECK“ appears on the Digital display (II)
as the wate r sensor che ck alert. In such a case, dirt or water
might be on the water sensor. So wash the sensor free of adhe rents, wipe water off t he surface and dry it suf fi ciently.

THE SECOND HAND GOES AT 2-SECOND INTERVALS
This action occur s, when the bat tery rundown warning is ac tivated, which warns the user that the
battery will run down soon. In this case, replace the batter y in advance of it s lifetime. T he watch
keeps re ct time during this occurrence. Howeve r, when this warning func tion is on, other functions
are inhibited as follows:
All alarm s do not sound.
Changeover to the diving mode (Ready state) is disabled.
When in the diving mode with (Ready state), changeover to
depthmeasurement readings is disabled.
With depth measurement readings displayed on the wat ch,
the dive alarm not sound. Stop diving immediately.
With temperature measurement active on the watch,
the watch returns to the pre-state.
CHANGEOVER CANNOT BE PERFORMED FROM THE DIV ING MODE (REA DY DISPLAY) OR (0M-READING AFT ER DEPTH ME ASUREMENT) TO THE TIME/CALENDAR-MODE.

In this case, all reset should be performed by referring to following capter („ALL RESET“). If the
watch dis play is changed to the pre-state of the diving mode (Ready dis play) or to the time/calendar
mode when the crown is pulled out, there is no problem. If the mode change cannot be made, all
reset should be per formed.
AFTER BATTERY REPLACEMENT
After the batter y is replaced, be sure to perform all reset by referring
to following capter („ ALL RESE T“).

Should strong impac t or static electricity be applied to the watch by an ac cident, the digital display
may malfunction at time s. If this occur s, all reset should be per formed by re ferring to f ollowing
capter („ALL RESET“).

THE ORIGINAL BATTERY
The bat tery in the watch at the time of purchase is one to test the function and performance of
the watch. Please be aware that this battery may not last for the 2 years estimated for normal
batteries.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT
When replacing the battery, inspection of water resistance and other parts should be conducted
and pack ing materials replaced as necessar y.
All battery replacements should be done by our Service Center. To replace the battery, please
contact the place of purchase or contact a Service Cent er directly.
The new battery ins talled in this watch will last approximately 2 years.
Befor e using this watch for long periods overseas, it´s recommended that a battery replacement
as well as service of your watch should be executed. A charge for bat tery replacement and r elated
inspec tion and par ts replac ement will iss ued, even within the specifi ed warranty period.

you can read the decompress-fre e areas according to the „ American Navy Diving Manual“.
A no-decompression limit (NDL) is a time limit.
No-decompression limits vary from dive to dive.
A diver who stays underwater longer than the
no-decompression limit for his dive can not
ascend directly to the surfac e, but must break
periodically as he ascends to avoid a high risk of
decompression sickness. A diver should be never
exceed a no-decompression limit without specialized training in decompression procedures.

La plongée est une ac tivité sare et agréable pourvu que certaines régles soient correctement resp ectées. toutefois, certains risques, tels une paralysie du, plongeur et des accidents imprévisibles rstent
toujour s inhérents á cette activité. Avant de plongeur, familiarisez-vous avec toutes les instructions
concernant la plongée et veilez á ef fectuer les contréles de sécurité. Utilisez cette montre uniquement
aprés avoir lu et compris p arfaitement fes proc édures d´utilisation et els précautions mentionnées.
L´utilisation de cett e montre d´une maniére dif férente de celle indiqué e dans cette brochure pourrait
entrainer un mauvais fonctionnement.

Nous recommandons de remplacer la pile sans attendre son équisement. Une pile neuve durera environ
2 ans. Cependant, cet te autonomie varie fortement selon la fréquence d´utilisation de l´instrument.
Reposez-vous suffi samment aprés la plongée comme l´impos ent les régles. Voyager en avion
ou passer trop rapidement á une altitude élevée aprés la plongée peut provoquer le mal des
caissons.
Utilisez la fonction profondimétre de cette montre uniquement á titr e
d´instrument d´appoint ou de rés erve.
Evitez les remontées rapides qui sont néfastes au corps humain et qui peuvent entrainer la
paralys ie du plongeur. Une vitesse de remontée voisine de 9 métres ou moins par minute est
recommandée pour le s sports sous-marine afi n d´eviter divers problémes p ossibles.

Cette montre ne peut pas étre utilisée dans un environnement enrichi
á l´hélium car ceci pourrait provoquer une défaillance ou une panne.
AVERTISSEMENT
L´indicateur de décharge de pile est en service: Lorque la pile est pr esque épuisée, l´affi chage
passe automatiquement du profondimétre á celui de l´heure et la trot teuse commence á se
déplacer par paliers de 2 secondes.
La montre s´arréte ou fonctionne de facon anormale.

Avec la lunet te, vous pouve z rapidement et simplement déterminer le temps de plongée écoulé
ainsi que le temps de plongée restant et, ainsi, déterminer le temp s total de votre plongée.
Au démarrage de votre plongée, positionnez le point phosphorescent de la lunette sur l’aiguille
des minutes. Vous allez alors pouvoir lire le temps écoulé par lecture directe sur votre lunette.
Au démarrage de votre plongée, positionnez le point phosphorescent de la lunette sur le temps de
plongée souhaité. Vous allez pouvoir lir e le temps restant de votre plongée en lecture directe sur

Lorsque la montre est changée du mode
Chrono au mode Journal par poussée sur le
bouton (M), la donnée I est af fi chée.
A chaque plongée, la montre mémoris e automatiquement les 8 types de données
suivant s, qui peuvent étre rappelé s dans l´odre I, II, III et IV comme illustré ci-aprés.
A chaque poussée sur le b outon (A),
l´affi chage de donée Journal passe au
suivant dans l´ordre I, II, II et IV.
Quand la donée I est affi chée, l´affi chage
change automatiquement á la donnée II aprés
2 secondes sans poussée sur le bouton (A).
RÈFÈR ENCE: Dans cer tains cas r ares, alors méme que le capteur détecte des traces d´eau et que
la montre est placée en mode Plongée (état pr ét á la plongée), il peut arriver que l´affi chage log

Le nombr e de plongées effectuées pendant un jour donné.
Un maximum de 9 plongées peut étre compté. Le nombre r evient chaque jour á zéro.
MOIS ET DATE DE PLONGÈE
Le mois et la date oú a eu lieu la plongée.
PROFONDEUR MAXIMUM
La profondeur maximale atteinte pendant une plongée.
DURÈE DE PLONGÈE
La duré e totale pendant laquelle le plongeur reste immergé á plus de 1 métre. S´il retourne dans
l´eau á plus d´1 mé tre dans les 10 minutes aprés que la profonde ur est devenue, inférieure á 1
métre, le calcul de la dur ée de plongée reprend au moment oú la mesure est arrétée et la durée
cumulée est succes sivement enregistrée.
HEURE DÈBUT DE PLONGÈE
Le moment oú la profondeur de plongée atteint 1 métre.
HEURE FIN DE PLONGÈE
Le moment oú la profondeur de plongée devient infér ieure á 1 métr e.
PROFONDEUR MOYENNE
La moyenne des profondeurs d´une plongée.
TEMPÉR ATURE MINIMUM
La température la plus basse enregistrée p endant und plongée.

Appuyez simultanément sur les boutons (A) et (B) pendant 2 secondes
ou plus et toutes les donées Journal s eront eft acées.

FONCTION ALARME DE PROFONDEUR
Quand da pr ofondeur pr ogrammée est atteinte
pendant une plongée, l´alarme retentit pendant
15 secondes. La plage de réglage de l´alarme de
profondeur va de 1 métre á 80 métre (par paliers de
1 métre). Si vous c ontinuez la plongée au-delá de la
profondeur programmée, l´alarme retentira de facon
répétée á chaque minute. Le nombre d´activations
de l´alarme peut étr e réglé de 0 á 5 minutes ou á
chaque minute. Le nombr e d´activations de l´alarme
pendant une plongée es t défi ni par la montre. Par
example, si le nombre de fois est réglé á „1“, l´alarme
retentira une fois se uement pendant une plongée.
FONCTION ALARME DE DURÈE DE PLONGÈE
Lorsqu´est at teinte la duré e programmée pour une
plongée, l´alarme retentit pendant 15 secondes.
Cette alarm ne se répete pas.

RÈFÈR ENCE: ll se peut que les alarmes soient diffi ciles á entendre selon l´environnement (tel que le
son des bulles d´air) et des conditions d´utilisation de la montre. Soyez prudent lors de leut emploi.
RÈGLAGE ALARME DE PROFONDEUR /DURÈE DE PLONGÈE
Appuyez sur le bouton (B) pendant 2 secondes
ou plus pour passer au mode de réglage alarme
de plongé e (la valeur de profondeur pro grammée clignote). A ce stade, l´affi chage numérique
(II) passe de l´indication d´alarme de durée de
plongée á l´indication du nombre d´activations
de l´alarme.
10. MODES D´ALARME DE PLONGÈE
En appuyant sur le bouton (A), programmez la
profondeur de plongée á lacquelle l´alarme devra retentir. A chaque pousée sur le bouton (A),
la profondeur augmente de 1 métre, jus qu´á
un maximum de 80 métre. Quand cette vale ur
maximum est dépassé e, l´indication revient á
1 métre.

10. MODES D´ALARME DE PLONGÈE
Appuyez sur le bouton (B) pour passer au mode de réglage du nombre d´ac tivations de l´alarme
(le nombre préalablement programmé clignote).
RÈFÈR ENCE: Une possée maintenue sur le
bouton (A) fait changer les chiffres rapidement.
Programmez le nombre d´activations de l´alarme change dans l´ordre suivant ON - OFF - 1 2 - 3 - 4 - 5. ON: L´alarme de profondeur retentira á chaque minute si la profondeur de plongéee
programmée est dépassée.
OFF: L´alarme de profondeur est mise hors service.
Appuyez sur le bouton (B) pour passer au mode de réglage d´Alarme de durée de plongée
(la valeur programmée comme durée précédente clignote).
Programmez la valeur pour l´alarme de durée de plongée en appuyant sur le bouton (A).
La valeur pour l´alarme de durée de plongée change dans l´odre cyclique s uivant
-- - 05 - 10 - 15 - 20 - 25 - ... - 95 - --.
Appuyez sur la bouton (B) ou (M) pour ter miner les démarches du ré glage.

11. MODE PLONGÈE 11. MODE PLONGÈE
Quel que soit son mode, la montre passera au mode Plongée et l´af fi chage changera (Prét)
par une poussée sur le bouton (M) pendant 2 secondes ou plus. Si l´af fi chage (Prét) obtenu
de cette facon est abandonné pendant 60 minutes, il repassera alors automatiquement au
mode précédent.
GÈNÈRAL
Quand une profondeur de 1 métre est at teinte aprés le début de la plongée alors que la montre
affi che (Prét), l´affi chage passe automatiquement aux valeur de mesure de profondeur.
Si la profondeur de plongée se réduit á moins de 1 métre, l´affi chage passe automatiquement á
Valeur 0m aprés mesure de profondeur. Si le plongeur pas se á nouveau en dessous de 1 mét re
dans ies 10 minutes, le calcul de la durée de plongée reprend.
Si le bouton (M) est actionné plus 2 secondes pendant l´affi chage valeur 0m aprés mesure de
profondeur, la montre repasse au mode Heure/Calendrier.

seconde et la valeur de la profondeur e st affi chée.
MESURE DE LA DURÈE DE PLONGÈE
Unité de me sure de la profondeur: 0.1m
Plage de mesure: 1.0m á 80.0m
Si la profondeur de plongée est inférieure á 1
métre, l´indic ation est 00.0m.
Si la profondeur de plongée dépasse 80 métre,
l´indication est --.--m.
RÈFÈR ENCE: Si „ER“ (Erreur) clignote c omme
valeur de profondeur, C´est le signe que la
mesure est erronée.
Quand la pr ofondeur de plongée atteint 1.0 métre,
la mesur e de la durée de plongée commence. Elle
s´arr éte quand la profondeur re devient infé rieure á
1.0 métre. Si la profondeur de plongée dépasse 1.0
métre dans les 10 minutes qui suivent la fi n d´une
plongée, la durée de plongée repre nd á partir du
moment oú la mesure avait éte arrétée et la durée
cumulée est succes sivement enregistrée.
MESURE DE LA TMPÈR ATURE DE L´EAU
La mesure de la température de l´eau commence
1 minutes aprés qu´une profondeur de 1.0 métre
a éte mesurée et la valeur est affi chée. Ensuite,
la température est mesurée chaque minute.
Unités de mesure de température de l´eau: 0.1°C
Plage de mesure: -10°C á +40°C

Si un changement de prof ondeur supérieur á 4 métres par
seconde se produit, le témoin „ER“ (Er reur) apparaít et clignote
sur l´affi chage numérique (II). Si le capteur est défectueux, le
témoin „ER“ (Erreur) apparaít méme si la montre est utilisée
á terre.

ALERTE DE VÈRIFIC ATION DU CAPTEUR D´E AU
Si le capteur d´eau est actualis é et que la montre se trouve
au mode Pongée avec indication (Prét) mais qu´aucune action
n´est prise pendant plus d´une heure, le message „CHECK “
apparaít sur l´affi chage numérique (II) en guise d´alerte. Dans
ce cas, il peut y avoir de la saleté ou de l´eau sur le capteur.
Enlever toutes les adhérences du capteur, essuyer l´eau de la
surface et le sécher suffi samment.

LA TROTTEUSE SE DÈPLACE À INTERVALLES DE 2 SECONDES
Ce mouvement de la trot teuse se produit pour signaler que la pile est presque épuisée. Dans c e cas,
replac ez la pile le plus tót possible. La montre conserve sa précision dans ce cas. Notez cependant
que les fonctions suivantes sont inhibées quand cette fonc tion d´aver tisseme nt est en ser vice:
Aucune sonnerie ou alarme ne retentit.
La permutation au mode Plongée avec affi chage (Prét) est impossible.
En mode Plongée avec affi chage (Prét), la permut ation aux
(Valeur s de mesure de profondeur) est impossible.
Quand les (Valeurs de me sure de profondeur) sont af fi chées, les alarmes de
plongée ne retentissent pas. Arrétez immédiatement la plongée.
Quand les (Valeurs de me sure de température) sont af fi chées, lá montre
repasse á l´état antérieur.
Si l´alerte de vérifi cation du capteur d´eau est affi chée, l´affi chage d´alert est invalidé.
LA PER MUTATION EST IMP OSSIBLE DU MODE PLONGÈE AVEC A FFICHAGÈ

Dans ce ca s, eftectuez une („TOTAL DE LA PROVISION“) en consultant la page 116. Si látfi chage est
changé á l état antérieur du mode Plongée avec atfi chage (Prét) ou au mode Heure /Calendrie r alors
que la cour onne est retirée, il n´y a pas de próbleme. Si le changement de mode n´est pas possible,
effectuez une tot al de la provision.

APRÈS UN REMPLACEMENT DE LA PILLE
Quand la pille a été remplacée, effectuez une
(„TOTAL DE LA PROVISION“).
DÈFAILL ANCE D´AFFICHAGE NUMÈRIQUE
L´a t fi chage numérique de la montre peut parfois s´avérer défaillant par suite d´un fort impac t ou de
la présence d´électricité statique. Dans ce cas, effectuez une („TOTAL DE LA P ROVISION“).

Retirez la couronne.
Appuyez simultanément sur les trois boutons
(A), (B) et (M), puis reláchez-les.
RÈFÈR ENCE: Comme toute les données mémorisée s sont effacées aprés cette initialisation
générale, il faudra ré ajuster cor rectement chaque
mode.
Repoussez la couronne á sa position normale
(pousse z et tournez).
Si la sonne rie retenfi t 2 fois, la initialisation
générale est effectuée.

15. LA PILE
LA DUR ÈE DE VIE
UTILISER LA PILE
La duré e de vie de la pile es t d’environ 2 ans.
Il est néc essaire à votre revendeur, afi n de vérifi er le bon fonctionnement de votre montre, de
mettr e la pile en rout e. Il se peut alor s que la pile n’atteigne pas l’autonomie normale de 2 ans.
REMPLACEMENT DE LA PILE
Veuillez obligatoirement faire remplacer la pile auprès d’un revendeur
agréé CHRIS BENZ, ou auprès de notre service client CHRIS BENZ.
Il est for tement conseillé de faire contrôler l’étanchéité de votre
montre lors du remplacement de la pile, voir de procéder au remplacement des joints.
Le remplacement de la pile ne peut pas être pris en charge par la garantie. Donc,
il sera à votre charge mê me si la pile n’atteint pas sa durée de vie standard d’environ 2 ans.

16. TABLE DE DÈCOMPRESSION
Sur le bracelet caout chouc est imprimée une
table de décompres sion selon le „American Navy
Diving Manual“.
Le temps zéro est lors d‘une plongé e avec table à
air compr imé plongée de décompression spécifi é
par le pér iphérique, la période de temps pendant
laquelle vous pouvez retourner san s décompre ssion (persistance temporelle à une profondeur
donnée) à la sur face de l‘eau. Le plus prof ond de
vous plonger, plus le temps zéro.
RÈFÈR ENCE: Ces vale urs ne sont qu’ indicatives, cette table de décompression ne peut
pas remplacer un ordinateur de plongée!
