Input Selection
The Chordette Peach enables you to receive and decode Bluetooth Apt-X or A2DP audio, USB streaming audio, coax or optical digital audio. These inputs can be selected using the rotary switch on the rear panel of the unit or remotely via the control cable and Prime preamplifier. The internal illumination will change accordingly.
Function Position
USB - rotated fully anticlockwise (orange light) Bluetooth - 2 (blue light) Coax - 3 (red light) Optical - 4 (green light) Prime preamplifier - 5 (no light) control
Using USB digital audio
Connect your personal computer via an A to B type USB cable. The Peach will automatically be recognised by the operating system as a USB DAC. All audio from the computer will now be streamed via the Peach. (If there is no audio you may need to manually select the USB connection in the sound settings on the computer).
Using Bluetooth wireless digital audio
Referring to your Bluetooth device instructions, search for new paired devices. The Peach will be identified as Peach then a number. Select your Peach and enter the passcode 0000 when prompted. Confirm that you wish to connect to the Peach device.
The Peach should now be locked to your Bluetooth enabled phone or computer and be able to receive high quality digital audio. Higher quality Apt-X transmissions are automatically detected if received. If you lose connection, for instance if the Peach is switched off, then you can reconnect by looking at the list of paired devices on the phone and selecting connect.
Using Coax or Optical digital inputs
Digital source components such as CD players can be connected to the BNC coax input or optical digital input. Select the correct input using the rotary switch ( or via the Prime remote control ).
