INSTRUCTION MANUAL FOR USE
OF CAR SEAT “FIZZ”
THE SAFETY OF PRODUCTS AND THE MATERIALS
USED FOR THEIR PRODUCTION IS GUARANTEED AND CERTIFIED
IN TEST LABORATORIES ACCORDING TO EN STANDARDS.
PLEASE, READ CAREFULLY THESE INSTRUCTIONS AND KEEP THEM IN A SAFE PLACE FOR FUTURE REFERENCE! IT CONTAINS IMPORTANT INFORMATION, GUIDES AND RECOM­MENDATIONS FOR THE SAFE USE OF THIS CAR SEAT.

This product represents universal integral child restraint system for use in motor vehicles fitted with approved 3-point car safety belts with retractor. It is suitable for children weighing up to 18 kg. This car seat is approved under No. E13-44R04-510 for two weight groups: 0+ for children weighing up to 13 kg and group I - for children weighing 9 - 18 kg. When used for children with weight up to 9 kg, the car seat must used in rearward position in the vehicle. When used for children weighing 9 - 18 kg, it must be used in forward facing position in the vehicle. The car seat harness and the vehicle belts must be used at all times. This child restraint is designed and manufactured in compliance with the requirements of Regulation 44 of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe concerning the safe transportation of children, the provisions of the product safety directive 2001/95/EU of the European Parliament and The Council and Directive 91/671/EEC "Compulsory use of seat belts and child restraints systems for child occupants of power driven vehicles" of the European Parliament and The Council.
ATTENTION! Your child will be under maximum protection of this system, if you follow these instructions and recommendations thoroughly! Following the instructions will ensure your child getting the maximum safety designed into the restraint system during the time of use of the product. Do not forget that no system can provide absolute protection of injury in the case of a crash or road accident. Drive with attention, when there is a child in your vehicle! You are the solely responsible for the safety of your child, if you fail to follow exactly the instructions and safety recommendations in this manual! Pay special attention to the warnings and apply all necessary precautions in order to avoid the risk of possible serious injury to your child thus ensuring its safety! If you fail to follow the safety recommendations, the instructions for use, assembly and maintenance, it can lead to serious injury or damage to your child. Make sure that everybody who uses this car seat reads, understands and follows the manual.
NOTE: The construction of this universal car seat is meant for mounting on most automo­bile seats. A complete suitability exists if the manufacturer has declared this in the accompany­ing documentation of the vehicle. If you are not sure, you can consult with the retailer, the manufacturer of the car seat or the operating service.
1. Attention! Never leave the child unattended by an adult!
2. Follow the user instructions thoroughly in order to prevent possible injuries of your child! Make sure you follow this manual correctly.
3. Check the vehicle manual for information about the air bags and the transportation of children. WARNING! NEVER USE THIS CAR SEAT ON FRONT OR OTHER PASSENGER
SEAT EQUIPPED WITH AIR BAG! FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THAT RULE MAY LEAD TO SERIOUS INJURIES OR DEATH!
4. Do not install the car seat in forward facing position before the child reaches 9 kg!
5. This car seat must be used in forward facing position on the seat of the car when the child weighs 9-18 kg.
6. This car seat must used only as a child restraint system in vehicles – do not use it for other purposes!
7. To be used only in vehicles fitted with approved 3-point diagonal/lap belts!
8. For maximum protection, the center rear seat position is recommended for the safest position in most vehicles for installing a child restraint.
9. Do not use this car seat if the child’s head is above the backrest top edge.
10. VERY IMPORTANT! Do not use the car seat if the safety belts are not well fitted and the car seat is well and properly installed in the car. Make sure that both child’s safety belt and vehicle lap/3-point safety belt are properly tightened so as to ensure maximum protection for your child.
11. Always check if the child is securely fastened with the car seat belts.
12. The car seat safety belts must be properly adjusted according to child’s height.
13. The car seat must be installed only according to instructions in this manual. It is danger­ous to use anchor points other than the ones given in this manual.
14. Discontinue the use if you find any damages to the belts, fixing mechanisms, or any other part of the car seat.
15. Do not put additional pads except the ones supplied from the manufacturer! Placing additional pads may obscure the safety of your child.
16. While the vehicle is in motion, do not take the child out of the car seat and do not give him food or liquids.
17. The car seat must be installed only on forward facing seats and not on rearward or side facing ones.
18. The car seat must be well fixed in the vehicle; otherwise there is a risk for all passen­gers in the car.
19. Do not use this car seat without its seat cover and do not replace it with a new one, unless supplied by the manufacturer. The fabric parts are integral parts of the restraint system and its safety features!
20. After a violent impact the seat and belts may be damaged. Therefore, it is recom­mended to replace them.
21. Never use a second hand child restraint. It may have suffered structural damage, which may make the child restraint extremely dangerous.
22. The car seat must be installed in a way that it can’t be entrapped by sliding vehicle seat or door.
23. Do not use spare parts other than the ones supplied by the manufacturer. This child restraint should not be modified or adapted with new fittings, without previous authorization by the competent authority.
24. The car seat must be installed only by adult!

WARNINGS
25. It is recommended to cover the car seat if the vehicle is parked under strong sun shine – extreme sun exposure will make the plastic to deteriorate and the fabric to fade. Please check that the child restraint has not become too hot before placing your child seat.
26. In case of emergencies and accidents, the child must be removed quickly from the car seat and out of the car. This restraint system’s belt buckle is easy to unlock, but you must explain to your child that that the buckle is not a toy.
27. Always make sure that you are not carrying any unsecured objects, especially on the back shelf, which, in case of an accident, may injure the car’s occupants.
28. Check that the belt webbing has not become twisted. Make sure that the belt webbing does not get caught in the door or rubs against sharp corners of the seat or car body. If the belt is frayed or cut, replace it with a new one.
29. Do not leave the car seat near sources of strong heat!
30. Store the car seat in a safe dry place. Do not place heavy objects on top and prevent the contact with corroding substances.
31. In case of long trips, make frequent stops, children get tired easily.
32. Do not remove stickers and warnings – they contain important information!
33. Use the car seat only for its purpose! It is not intended for use in your home.
34. This product is not a toy! Do not allow your child to play with it!
35. Do not oil the buckles and joint parts of safety belt.
36. The packaging of the product must be kept out of the reach of babies and children at the time of and after unpacking. In this way you will avoid the risk of strangulation and/or asphyxiation (choking) caused by entanglement of the packaging around the child or external blocking of the respiratory tract through the child's nose or mouth!

INSTALLATION OF THE SEAT IN A CAR
CORRECT SHOULDER STRAP HEIGHT
PLACE OF THE CAR SEAT IN THE VEHICLE
ATTENTION! The child restraint is only suitable for use with lap / 3-point safety belts, approved to ECE R16 or equivalent standards.

Place the car seat only on forward facing seats, and not on rearward or side facing (fig.1)! Do not place the restraint system on a seat equipped with air bag (SRS) (fig.1)!
IMPORTANT! Always make sure that the 3-point safety belts are well fixed, they are not twisted or pinched in vehicle’s door.
Always check that the shoulder straps are at the correct height for your child. The child’s shoulders should always be thread through the slots in the cover and the seat shell that are closest to the top of your child’s shoulders (fig.2).

CHANGING THE SHOULDER STRAP HEIGHT
Step 1. Adjust the height of the shoulder straps, press the harness adjuster lever and pull both harness straps forward to create slack. – fig. 3-1.
Step 2. From the back of the seat, unhitch the harness straps from the harness connector and pull the straps through to the front of the seat. Untie the shoulder pad connector and pull these through to the front of the seat – fig. 3-2.
Step 3. Then from the front of the seat, pull it through the slot in the seat’s backrest and fabric cover. Thread the harness strap back through the next hole up or down on the seat’s backrest – fig. 3-3.
Step 4. Re-thread the harness strap back onto the harness connector at the back of the seat. At the same time, re-thread the shoulder pad belt back onto the shoulder pad connector at the back of the seat – fig. 3-4.
Repeat the same process for the other harness strap. Make sure both of the straps go through slots at the same height and do not become twisted. Do not use the top two slots in the backrest. These are for the seat belt lock only.

Step 1. Fig. 4-1: Slot the two metal sections of the buckle connectors together.
Step 2. Fig. 4-2: Slot the two buckle connectors into the slot in the top of the buckle until they “click” into place.
Step 3. Fig. 4-3: Always check if the harness is correctly locked by pulling the shoulder straps upwards.
To release the harness, press the red button on the buckle downwards.
TIGHTENING THE HARNESS
Fig. 5 – Pull the shoulder straps upwards to remove the slack from the lap sections of the harness then pull the adjuster strap until the harness is fully tightened. The harness should be adjusted as tightly as possible without causing discomfort to your child. Ensure that the lap strap portion of the harness is located as low as possible towards the thighs-not around the tummy. A loose harness can be dangerous. Check the harness adjustment and tighten each time the child is placed in the seat.
SLACKENING THE HARNESS

Press down on the label marked “Press” as you grip the two shoulder straps with your other hand. Pull the shoulder straps towards you to loosen the harness. Take care when you adjust the shoulder straps that you do not trap the harness adjuster straps as you press the lever down.

Only Use For Group 0+ (Less Than 13 Kg) Notice: When rearward facing, you have to open the Foot and pull up the red lever handle and hold it, at the same time pull the seat body in to the sleeping position, then release the red lever, and push it until you hear a clear click sound – fig. 7.
IMPORTANT! Using the 5 point harness system, including the shoulder straps, crotch strap and lap strap.
Step 1. Adjust the foot of car seat to the front, and adjust the car seat to the most angle of inclination. Place the back of car seat into the car seat. Step 2. Through the bellyband to the front of car seat. The shoulder of car seat around the past from the back. Step 3. Feed the lap belt through belt guidance under the base of car seat. Pull and feed the diagonal belt through the belt and the blue belt guidance behind the backrest of the car seat. Pull and tighten the two belts in the direction of arrow symbols (same as fig.8). Fix the two belts together with the lock-off (same as fig.8). Step.4 Now you can place your child into the safety seat. Check the height of the shoulder straps on the correct position. Make sure the seat belt has not become twisted. Also check that the cover is not impeding the movement or fit of the seat belt webbing in any way. To release your child seat follow the above instructions in reverse order.
ATTENTION! Only the most Angle of inclination is fit for group 0+.

IMPORTANT: Using the 5 point harness system, including the shoulder straps, crotch strap and lap strap.
Step 1. Place the child safety seat on the vehicle’s seat ensuring it is firmly pressed against the car seat backrest. Step 2. Feed the diagonal belt and the lap belt through the opening of the side shell. Step 3. Pull and feed the diagonal belt and lap belt out through the opposite opening. Then fasten the two belts into the seat belt buckle of the vehicle. Step 4. Pull and tighten the two belts in the direction of arrow symbols (same as fig.9) and fix the two belts together with the lock-off. Step 5. Now you can place your child into the safety system. Check the height of the shoul­der straps on the correct position. Make sure the seat belt has not become twisted. Also check that the cover is not impeding the movement or fit of the seat belt webbing in any way. To release your child seat follow the above instructions in reverse order.

CAR SEAT COVER REMOVAL
To remove the child restraint cover, please do the same operation as described in Chang­ing the shoulder strap height. Release the crotch harness, slide it through the strap slot in the cover. Remove the cover. Do not use this car seat without upholstery! It is an integral part of the car seat and can’t be replaced except with an original one supplied by the manufacturer.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
1. To clean the upholstery, plastic or metal parts, use a damp soft cloth or sponge and mild detergent.
2. Never use aggressive or abrasive detergents.
3. Always let the cleaned car seat to fully dry out before use.
4. The fabric parts can be hand washed at 30°С, using mild detergent. Do not machine wash or tumble dry!
5. Do not bleach, iron or spin.
6. The buckle can be washed with lukewarm water. Do not use any lubricants.
7. The belts may be cleaned only with mild soap and damp cloth.
8. Do not soak decals and stickers. Do not remove them, they contain important information.
9. Do not use dissolvent, chemical or oiling substances for any part of the car seat.
10. Too much sun exposure may cause the fabric colors to fade and the plastic to deteriorate.
11. Do not use the car seat if it has been in an accident. It is possible that it may have structural damages which can be very dangerous. The car seat must be checked by a special­ist before you use it again.

The seat is approved under number E13 - 44R-04510 in SNCH – Luxembourg. It is qualified as universal integral system, weight groups 0+ and I. It is suitable for children weigh­ing 0-18 kg.
I am declaring this on the grounds of certificate № E13*44R00*44R04*5110*00/10.02.2012 issued in SNCH – Luxembourg according to the requirements of Directive 2001/95/EC and Regulation 44 of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe.
The product CAR SEAT model FIZZ with its item STKFZ150xxx is safe for the consum­ers and does not possess any risk for the health and well being of consumers during its use in accordance with the manufacturer’s instruction manuals, which
are an integral part of the
product.
