Before usingyourscooter,makesureyourdeliveryiscompleteassomecomponentsmay
beindividuallypackaged.Ifyoudonotreceiveacompletedelivery,pleasecontactyour authorizedChiefRiderProviderimmediately.Wheredamagehasoccurredduringtransport, eithertothepackagingorcontent,pleasecontactthedeliverycompanyresponsible.
Yourmobilityscooterisshippedpartiallydisassembledforprotectionduringshipping.After unpacking,pleasecheckwhetheryouhavereceivedthefollowingmaincomponentsasour standardspecification(Figure1).

Putthe LeftArm-rest(s2)intothe Seat(s1)frameandfittingyoursize.Lockthe LeftArm-rest into Seat(s1)withone Handlescrew(s3).
Putthe RightArm-rest(s4)intothe Seat(s1)frameandfittingyoursize.Lockthe LeftArm-rest into Seat(s1)withanother Handlescrew(s3).

Pressandfoldtherubbercover(T1)tothelowerlocking-block.Connectthewireharnessintherightposition.Putthespring(T2)betweenthetillerlocking-blockandthelowerlocking-block.Unfoldtherubbercover(T1)tothetillerbodyandcoverthelocking-block.Screwinthetilleradjustmenthandlescrew(T3)intothelocking-block.

A. Youcanadjustthetillertofityourcomfortposition(Figure5).
Loosethetilleradjustmenthandlescrew.Getintotheseat,pullorpushthetillertothebestdriveposition.Tightenandlockthehandlescrew.
B. Arm-rest
Loosethehandlescrew(Figure2).Pullorpushthearm-resttothebestpositionfityoursize.Tightenandlockthetilleradjustmenthandlescrew.

C.Youcanswiveltheseatwhengeton/offyourscooter(Figure6.a,6.b).
Pulltherotationleverforward(Figure4.b).Rotateyourseattoyourleftorrightside.Releasetherotationleverandlettheleverlockintothecorrespondingnotch.
Note:Theseatmaylockinevery45˹positionautomatically.
D.Seatheightadjustment.
Removetheseat,andscrewouttheadjustmentbolt(Figure6.c).Raiseorlowertheupperseatposttothedesiredheightandmatchthelocatingholes.Reinstallthenutontotheadjustmentboltandtighten.

TILLER
Thetillerhousesallofthecontrolsneededtodriveyourscooter.IncludingtheBattery conditionLEDindicators,Speedadjustmentdial,StatusLEDindicators,DirectionLED indicators,Turnsignalswitch,Hornbuttons,Head-lightswitch,Hazardlightsswitch,Key switch,High-lowspeedswitch,Pushswitch,Acceleratethrottlecontrollever,andOff-board chargerport(Figure7).
PROHIBITED!Donotexposethetillerconsoletomoisture.Intheeventthat thetillerconsoledoesbecomeexposedtomoisture,donotattemptto operateyourscooteruntilthetillerconsolehasdriedthoroughly.

Whenthekeyisfullyinsertedandturnedclockwisetopowerupyourscooter,thismeter indicatestheapproximatebatteryvoltagestrength.Forfurtherinformationonbattery charging,See V.BatteriesandCharging
SpeedAdjustmentDial
Thisdialallowsyoutopreselectandlimityourscooterstopspeed.
Theimageofthetortoiserepresentstheslowestspeedsetting.Theimageoftheharerepresentsthefastestspeedsetting.
StatusLEDindicators
ThestatusLEDindicatorsalertsyoutodrivingoperationsorelectricalproblemsthatmay occurwiththescooter.Fromlefttorightare:Codestatus,High-lowspeedstatus,Push status,Head-lightstatus. TheCodestatusLEDremainsconstantlylitwhileyourscooterison.Ifyourscooter developsanelectricalproblem,thestatusLEDwillflashacode.See VII.Trouble shooting’ forflashcodes. RestthreeLEDsonlylitwhenswitchesistoggleonandoperationchanges.
DirectionLEDindicators
FourLEDshowthedirectionyourscooterisheadingin.Fromlefttorightare:Leftturn signalLEDindicator,drivingforwardLEDindicator,drivingreverseLEDindicator,Rightturn signalLEDindicator.
TurnSignalSwitch
Usethesebuttonstoturnontheleftandrightturnsignallights.
Pushthebuttontolefttoactivatetheleftturnsignallight.TheleftturnsignalLED
indicatorwillflash.
Pushthebuttontorighttoactivatetherightturnsignallight.TherightturnsignalLED
indicatorwillflash.
Pushthebuttontothemiddlewhendrivingstraight.
HornButtons
Bothbuttonsactivateawarninghorn.Yourscootermustbepoweredupforthehorntobe operational. Donothesitatetousethewarninghornwhendoingsomaypreventaccidentorinjury.
Head-lightSwitch
Thisswitchcontrolsyourscootersheadlight.
Toggletheswitchup-wardtoturnonthelightingsystem.Toggletheswitchdown-wardtoturnoffthelightingsystem.
Scooterusersarerequiredtousetheirlightswhenvisibilityisrestricteddayornight.
HazardLightsSwitch
Thisswitchactivatesthe4-wayflashersonyourscooter.
Toggletheswitchup-wardtoturnontheflashers.

KeySwitch
Insertthekeyintothekeyswitchandturnitclockwisetopowerup(turnon)your
scooter.
Turnthekeycounterclockwisetopowerdown(turnoff)yourscooter.
WARNING!Ifthekeyisturnedtothe offpositionwhileyourscooterisin motion,theelectronicbrakeswillengageandyourscooterwillcometoan abruptstop!
High-LowspeedSwitch
ThisswitchtogglesthescootersspeedbetweenHighspeedandLowspeed.
Toggletheswitchup-wardandyourscooter’smaximumspeedis6mph(9.6km/h).Toggletheswitchdown-wardandyourscooter’smaximumspeedis3.6mph(5.7km/h).
PushSwitch
Thisswitchwilldisengagetheparkbreakandactivethefreewheelmode(Figure9)allowing yourscootertobepushed.
Toggletheswitchup-wardtoreleasetheparkbreak.Toggletheswitchdown-wardandtheparkbreakengagedautomatically.
AccelerateThrottleControlLever
Thisleverallowsyoutocontroltheforwardspeedandthereversespeedofyourscooterup tothemaximumspeedyoupresetwiththespeedadjustmentdial. ToMoveForward,useeitherofthefollowing:
Useyourleftthumbtopushtheleftsideofthethrottlecontrollever.Useyourrighthandfingerstopullbackontherightsideofthethrottlecontrollever.
ToMoveBackward,useeitherofthefollowing:
Useyourrightthumbtopushtherightsideofthethrottlecontrollever.Useyourlefthandfingerstopullbackontheleftsideofthethrottlecontrollever.
Releasethethrottlecontrolleverandallowyourscootertocometoacompletestopbefore engagingtheothersideofthelever.Whenthethrottlecontrolleveriscompletelyreleased, itautomaticallyreturnstothecenter stoppositionandengagesyourscootersbrakes.
Off-boardChargerPort
Theoff-boardchargerpowercordplugsintothisportduringbatterycharging. Turnoffthekey-switchwhencharging.
NOTE:Keepallelectricalareascleanandfreeofmoistureandforeignmaterial.
