INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
SSM-295 Interface Bracket
SSM-295 Interface Brackets are designed for use with the MSP-EIK130 and MSP-EIK230 short throw wall mounts. See the specific
installation instructions provided with the mount for additional installation information.
Unpack carton and verify kit contents. If any listed parts are missing, immedia tely contact a Chief Customer Service representative.

DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT! DO NOT substitute hardware. Use only hardware supplied by manufacturer!

NOTE: All appropri ate screws (See Fi gure 1 ) come pre-inst alled. DO NOT attempt to substit ute and USE ONLY this pre- installed har dware
for interface br acket installation.
Installation Instructions
WARNING: OVER TIGHTENING OF SCREWS CAN DAMAGE PARTS AND CAN LEAD TO SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY AND
DAMAGE TO EQUIPMENT! DO NOT over tighten screws when installing interface brackets.
1. Turn projector upside down on a flat surface.
2. Place spacers over appropriate threaded inserts on bottom of projector.
3. Place the interface bracket ont o the spacer s, alignin g the mounting holes in the brac ket with the s pacers and thre aded inserts i n the bo ttom
of the projector and ensuring that triangle in bracket points towards front of projector.
4. Determine proper size screws to use with projector.
IMPORTANT ! : Using screws of improper size may damage the projector. Properly sized screws will easily and completely
thread into projector threade d inserts. See Figure 1 for proper placement of M4 and M5 screws.
5. Position mounti ng screws th rough bracket , spacers a nd into appropr iate thre aded inser ts in the project or . Ti ghten all f asteners at t his time ,
securing the bracket to the projector.
