Installation of the Mouse
Make sure that your computer is powered off before plugging the receiver into the PS/2 or USB mouse port located in the rear
of your computer. Install the included batteries into the mouse before turnin
on the system
Connecting the Mouse with the Receiver
1. Press the button on top of the receiver. The receiver's LED blinks to indicate that it is searching for the mouse.
2. Press the connect button on the bottom of the mouse.
3. When the mouse and receiver are connected, the LED on top of the receiver is illuminated. Your mouse should
work. If not, refer to “Troubleshooting.”
Software Installation
To enable the side-to-side scrolling feature of the mouse or to change button programming, install the mouse software.
Insert the software CD into your computer's CD-ROM drive, and then follow the on-screen instructions. If the software
auto-install feature does not work, do the following:
1. Click Start to open the Start Menu.
2. Click Run to open a command dialog box.
3. Type D:\setup (where “D” designates your computer's CD-ROM drive). Click OK to start the Installation Program.
4. Restart your computer after the software installation is finished.
Low Battery Light
Expected battery life is 2 to 3 months depending on usage. When Mouse Wheel starts blinking: you still have about 30
minutes battery life.
Troubleshooting
If your Wireless Mouse does not function properly, please review the following steps for troubleshooting.
1. Ensure that the PS/2 or USB connector of the receiver is properly inserted into the PS/2 or USB port of the computer.
2. Re-orient the receiver closer to the mouse.
3. Check the power level of the batteries.
4. Keep the distance between the receiver and the mouse within one meter (3 feet). Some objects may affect the operating
distance or completely block the wireless signal.
5. Metallic surfaces will shorten transmission distances.
6. Try connecting the mouse with the receiver. Please see “Connecting the Mouse with the Receiver.”
7. If it still does not work, try to replace the batteries with new alkaline batteries, then reconnect the devices.
