FOCCUS™ Fi ber-Wash™ A Q P recision F iber
Optic C leaning P en contains a nonf lammable,
water-based cleaning s olution that qui ckly and
safely cleans the end face of fiber optic connectors,
splices and ribbons. It also dissipates static charge,
which pr events a ttracting a irborne c ontamination
that cl ing t o t he en d f ace s urface. T he cleaning
formulation ha s l ow o dor, i s pl astic s afe, and
residue f ree. B ecause i t i s w ater-based, i t ha s t he
environmental be nefits of l ow V OC a nd G WP
(Global W arming P otential). T his non -pressurized
container can b e eas ily and safely t ransported. For
best r esults, us e with t he Q bE® Cleaning P latform
or C CT™ C lear Connection Tool a nd t he
Combination Cleaning™ process.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
Read MSDS carefully prior to use.
1. Hold pe n v ertically a nd depress tip. For su rfaces
other t han e ndfaces, r ub pen on s urface t o be
cleaned.
2. For e ndface c leaning, us e w ith Q bE® C leaning
Platform. When using with a QbE Cleaning System,
pull one QbE wipe over the Fiber-Safe foam platen
and depress the pen tip onto the wipe to start liquid
flow.
3. Apply a small amount (1" diameter) of Fiberwash NF
Precision Fiber Optic Cleaner onto the wipe. Follow
the Combination Cleaning process as follows:
• Hold the end-face at 90º pe rpendicular to t he QbE
platen; a llow th e e nd-face t o gl ide o ver w ipe.
Remember to adjust for APC connections
• Draw t he e nd-face lightly ov er t he pl aten i n a
smooth linear motion
• Do not press too hard
• Do not retrace your cleaning procedure in the same
area
• Do not u se a figure-eight motion; do not us e a
"twist & turn" motion
• Check your work with a fiber scope or measuring
device
