FOCCUS™ Fi ber-Wash™ M X P recision F iber
Optic C leaning P en c ontains a pow erful s olvent
cleaner t hat q uickly and safely cleans t he en d f ace
of fiber optic connectors, splices and ribbons. It also
dissipates s tatic ch arge, w hich p revents at tracting
airborne c ontamination that c ling t o t he e nd f ace
surface. The cleaning formulation is plastic safe and
residue f ree. T his non-pressurized container c an be
easily and s afely t ransported. F or b est r esults, use
with the QbE® Cleaning Platform or CCT™ Clear
Connection Tool a nd the C ombination C leaning™
process.

USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
Read MSDS carefully prior to use.
1. Hold pe n v ertically a nd depress tip. For su rfaces
other than endfaces, rub pen on surface to be cleaned.
2. For endface cleaning, use with Q bE® Cleaning
Platform. When using w ith a Q bE Cleaning S ystem,
pull one QbE wipe ov er the Fiber-Safe f oam platen
and de press the pe n tip on to t he wipe t o start l iquid
flow.
3. Apply a small amount (1" diameter) of Fiberwash NF
Precision F iber O ptic C leaner onto the w ipe. Follow
the Combination Cleaning process as follows:
• Hold t he end-face at 9 0º pe rpendicular to t he Q bE
platen; a llow th e e nd-face t o gl ide o ver w ipe.
Remember to adjust for APC connections
• Draw t he e nd-face lightly ov er t he pl aten i n a
smooth linear motion
• Do not press too hard
• Do not retrace your cleaning procedure in the same
area
• Do not u se a figure-eight motion; do not us e a
"twist & turn" motion
• Check your w ork with a fiber sco pe or m easuring
device
