COMPATIBILITY
CircuitWorks
Water S oluble F lux P en is
generally compatible w ith m ost m aterials
used in the electronics industry. As with any
cleaning agent, material compatibility should
be de termined on a non -critical a rea pr ior to
use.
USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
For industrial use only.
Read MSDS carefully prior to use.
Flux Application: Water Soluble Flux should
only be applied to a reas to be soldered. Hold
pen vertically, touch surface of PCB and
briefly de press tip to sta rt liquid f low.
Lightly w ipe pen tip o ver surface to be
fluxed. Use a C ontrolWipe dry w ipe to
remove flux buildup.
Cleaning: Flux residues m ust be r emoved
after soldering as they a re conductive and
corrosive. No neutralizer, sa ponifiers or
detergent are necessary for complete removal
of flux residues. It is not recommended to use
high m ineral c ontent ta p w ater, therefore
deionized or softened water may be used for
cleaning. The optim um w ater te mperature is

Off
C (1 30-150oF). Chemtronics Flux-
Water Soluble may also be used as a flux
remover.
