Read all these instruction carefully before use and save them. We reserve the right to make technical and

Some accessories / functions are optional. The use of attachments or accessories which are not supplied with
the appliance is not recommended. This could result in electrical shock or injury or permanent damage to
the appliance.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should be followed:
When you use the log insert for the first time, you may smell unfavorable odor, it is a normal phenomenon, it
will be ok when you use it again.
1. Read all instructions before using this appliance. Make sure the power supply corresponds to one on the
rating label. To avoid electrical shock, do not immerse electrical parts in water or other liquid
2. The appliance must always be placed on a firm and level horizontal surface.
3. This item is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas and similar indoor locations. Never place
this appliance where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
4. Do not place it in a vertically position!

5. Always unplug this appliance when not in use. Never pull the appliance by the power cord. Do not let the
cord hang over a table or counter edge. Do not let the cord touch any hot surfaces.
6. Do not use outdoors.
7. Keep out of reach of children at all times. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
8. Never leave the appliance unattended for any period of time if there are children or animals around.
9. Before cleaning the appliance or carrying out any maintenance, switch off and unplug the item. Do not use
with timer.
10. Never use water to clean the appliance or allow water to spill onto it as this may cause a short circuit
resulting in a risk of fire, just use a soft, slightly moist cloth to clean the external parts.
11. Any repairs to this appliance must be carried out by a qualified service person.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Your electric log set can be installed in several ways:
1. Into an existing fireplace or mantel.
2. On a solid floor.
Note: For best effect, install unit in an area out of direct sunlight.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Remove the packaging and make sure that appliance is intact.
2. Insert the power cord and always make sure the fireplace log insert is placed on a firm and level surface.
3. Turn on the fireplace log insert by using the switch on the backplate.
4. After use, always ensure that the appliance is switched off and unplugged from the main supply.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
1. The appliance only needs an external cleaning. Do not open and clean inside.
2. After use and before cleaning always unplug the appliance and wait until it cooled down.
3. Clean the grilles from dust with a soft, dry cloth, but make sure that the appliance is switched off and
unplugged.
4. use a moistened cloth to clean, do not use any other solvents at any time.
• Replacing the lamp
--Remove the main plug from the socket before attempting to replace the lamp.
--On the top at both sides of the log there are two separate screws. Remove the two screws and lift off the log.
Pull out the old bulb located at the centre of the light unit, replace with a new G9 Halogen Frosted 40W
bulb.
--Replace the log and fix the screws.
Correct Disposal of this product
This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed with other household
wastes throughout the EU. To prevent possible harm to the environment or human
health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to promote the
sustainable reuse of material resources. To return your used device, please use the
return and collection systems or contact the retailer where the product was purchased.
They can take this product for environmental safe recycling.
This product is for household use only.
RETURN PROCEDURE DECORATIVE FIREPLACES
DESIGN
All our fireplaces are guaranteed for 1 year parts and labor. If
during this period there were a malfunction of your product, please
follow the return procedure below (if baught in France) or contact your dealer if baught in any other
European countries :
- Above all else, call customer service at 0951 634 467
to determine the cause of the problem and the solution to.
- Package the defective chimney in its original packaging.
Make sure it is properly protected (especially at the
corners).
- Attach to the original parcel receipt by circling the date
purchase (no photocopies will be accepted) and the name and
the return address of the recipient.
- Send it at your expense, to: EFYDIS, 4 allée de l’olivet, 07300
St Jean de Muzols.
- We will repair or replace your defective fireplace
and return it to you at our expense at the adress
mentioned with the package (address in France).
- We will also return the receipt, dated and
buffered to revalidate the warranty.
