SHORT CORD INSTRUCTIONS
A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the hazards resulting from
entanglement or tripping over a longer cord. Longer detachable power-supply cords or
extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use. If a longer
detachable power-supply extension cord is used:
1. The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at least as
great as the electrical rating of the appliance, and:
2. The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the counter top or tabletop
where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.
LINE CORD SAFETY TIPS
1. Never pull or yank on cord or the appliance.
2. To insert plug, grasp it firmly and guide it into outlet.
3. To disconnect appliance, grasp plug and remove it from outlet.
4. Before each use, inspect the line cord for cuts and/or abrasion marks. If any are
found, this indicates that the appliance should be serviced and the line cord replaced.
Please return it to an authorized service representative.
5. Never wrap the cord tightly around the appliance, as this could place undue stress on
the cord where it enters the appliance and cause it to fray and break.

Carefully unpack the Chefman Dynamic Blending System and remove all packaging
materials. Check the contents to ensure that all attachments and accessories are

• 1 large (32 oz.) blender jar and lid with removable measuring cap
• 2 tall (24 oz.) tumblers and 1 short (12 oz.) tumbler
• 1 tumbler ring
• 1 storage lid
• 1 travel lid

1. Handle all blade attachments: emulsifying blade and grinding blade by their
collars only.
WARNING: Do not touch blades. Emulsifying and grinding blades are very sharp.
Use extreme care when handling. Failure to do so can result in personal injury.
2. Wash all accessories and attachments in warm, soapy water before first use.
Rinse thoroughly.
3. Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth.

IMPORTANT! All blade attachments: Emulsifying blade and Grinding blade include a white
plastic ring that creates an airtight seal during processing (See Figure 3). Always check to
be sure the white seal ring is present and properly
fitted into the collar before use.
1. Place the motor base on a flat, clean, dry counter
top or table.
2. Make sure the blender is unplugged.
3. Depending on the amount of food to be processed,
use the large (32 oz.) blender jar, any
tall (24 oz.) tumbler or the short (12 oz.) tumbler.
1. Using the blade’s collar to handle, place any of the
2 blade attachments: emulsifying blade and grinding
blade into the base of the blender jar. (See Figure 4.)
Always check to be sure the ring is present and
properly fitted into the collar before use. Turn clockwise
to tighten the blade assembly until well fit.
IMPORTANT: Make sure the blade assembly is properly
attached to the base of the blender jar before adding
food for processing.
2. Add food to be processed to the blender jar.
NOTE: When blending, foods or liquids tend to expand
as they rise up the side of the blending jar. Do not fill
blending jar more than the Max Line, 4 cups (32 oz.)
with food to be processed. (Please consult the
Processing Capacity Chart on page 6.)
3. WARNING: Never overfill the blender jar. To avoid personal injury, leakage or damage to
the blender, do not fill more than the Max Line.
4. WARNING: Pay close attention while processing. Never operate the Chefman Dynamic
Blending System when the blender jar is empty.

Blending/Chopping in the Blender Jar
1. Make sure the lid is firmly positioned on the jar.
2. Add the measuring cap onto the lid and twist clockwise. An audible click can be heard as
the measuring cap is locked and sealed.
Blending/Chopping in the Tall or Short Tumbler
1. Add up to 3 cups (24 oz.) food to the tall tumbler or
1+ cup (9 oz.) food to the short tumbler. WARNING:
Never overfill the tall or short tumbler. To avoid
personal injury, leakage or damage to the Chefman
Dynamic Blending System, do not fill more than the
Max Line. (Please consult the Processing Capacity
Chart on page 6.)
2. Holding any tumbler firmly in one hand, grasp the
collar of any of the 2 blade attachments. Always
check to be sure the ring is present and properly fitted into the collar before use. Insert the
blade into the top of tumbler. (See Figure 5.) Use the other hand to tighten by turning the
blade collar clockwise until well fit.
WARNING: Never operate the Chefman Dynamic Blending System when the tumbler is
empty.
IMPORTANT: Always add at least ¼ to ½ cup liquid
to food before processing. It may be necessary to
add more liquid, depending on the density of the
food and the desired final results.
3. Invert the tumbler assembly before placing on the
motor base.
4. Insert the blade collar into the motor base, fitting
the tabs into the slots on the motor base
(See Figure 6). Pressing the lid or tumbler firmly
down into the base, turn clockwise until the blade attachment tabs lock securely
in position.
5. Plug the power cord into a 120V AC electrical outlet. Press the POWER button.
WARNING: To avoid spills, make sure the lid is closed securely before pressing
any PREPROGRAMMED/SPEED buttons.
6. Press the desired PRE-PROGRAMMED/SPEED button to begin processing.
IMPORTANT: The Chefman Dynamic Blending System will not operate unless the
3 locking tabs on the blade collar are properly fitted into the 3 slots on the
motor base.
IMPORTANT! Do not operate this blender without the blade collar firmly twisted
into place onto any of the attachments. Press any PRE-PROGRAMMED/SPEED
button and resume operation.
WARNING: Do not operate the motor continuously for more than 1 minute at a
time. Allow the motor to rest for 3 minutes before continuing.
7. After processing food in the blender jar, turn the lid counter-clockwise to unlock
and remove lid from blender jar. (See Figure 4.) The spouted blender jar makes
pouring easy.
8. After processing food in the tumbler, invert the cup/blade assembly. Hold
the tumbler firmly in one hand. Use the other hand to turn the blade collar
counter-clockwise, and then lift blade attachment up and out of the tumbler.
(See Figure 5.)
9. Press the tumbler ring onto the lip of the tumbler to enjoy fresh processed juice,
smoothies, or blended drinks immediately.
10. Add the storage lid to store freshly processed food.
11. Unplug the Chefman Dynamic Blending System when not in use and before
• Use this speed for lighter mixtures and creamy toppings. Ideal for mayonnaise,
whipped cream, salad dressings, soups, sauces and shakes.To be used with the
Emulsifying Blade.
• Press LOW button to begin processing.
Medium Setting
• Pre-Programmed setting for smoothies, uniformly emulsifies fruits and vegetables
for perfect consistency.
• Press the MEDIUM button to begin. To be used with Emulsifying Blade
• Use this speed to puree fruits and vegetables into smooth and creamy foods.
Prepare smooth soups, flavored hummus, pâtés, as well as fresh and healthy baby
food.
• Tips: When processing food, liquid is essential. Add small amounts of stock, yogurt,
milk or water until the desired consistency is reached.
Fruits containing high water content will need less or no liquids added.
High Setting
• Grind harder, single ingredient items such as: coffee beans, nuts, cinnamon sticks
by pressing HIGH button to begin. To be used with the Grinding Blade.
• Use the HIGH speed to uniformly fine blend or chop thick fruits and vegetables.
• Press the High button to begin processing. To be used with the Emulsifying Blade.
• Use this speed to coarse or finely chop fruits, vegetables, cereals or cheese.
• To make frozen drinks, first press PULSE to start then give a burst of HIGH power
for several seconds and repeat this sequence three times before shutting off. Check
contents and if necessary, restart the function to reach the desired consistency.
Pulse Setting
• Use this button for short bursts of power or for coarse chopping and blending any
food. NOTE: Grinding Blade should only be used with dry foods.
• Press the PULSE button to begin the blending action. PULSE is activated as long as
the button is held. PULSE action will stop once the button is released. To be used
with the Emulsifying or Grinding Blade.
• Time the pulses so that blades come to a complete stop before pulsing.
• Press PULSE 6 times, then blend continuously on HIGH for several seconds
and check contents. If necessary, to add more liquid and continue to process
until all cubes are reduced to the desired consistency. To be used with the
Emulsifying Blade.
• Tips: Remove ice cubes from freezer for 5 to 10 minutes before crushing.
Please consult the Processing Capacity Chart on page 6 for suggested ice cubes and
liquid to be added to the blending jar, tall and short tumbler.
Add ½ cup water or other liquid.
WARNING: To avoid spills, make sure the lid is closed securely before pressing any
PRE-PROGRAMMED/SPEED buttons. Do not fill blending jar or any tumbler beyond
the MAX Line.
NOTE: Grinding Blade should only be used with dry foods.
This appliance requires little maintenance. It contains no user serviceable parts.
Do not try to repair it yourself.
Contact a qualified appliance repair technician if the product requires servicing.
CAUTION: Never immerse the motor base, plug or cord in water or any other liquid.
1. Always unplug the Chefman Dynamic Blending System before cleaning.
2. Whenever possible, rinse attachments and accessories immediately after
processing for both sanitary reasons and to make cleanup easier.
3. Always handle blades using the blade collar.
CAUTION: Use extreme care when handling blades. Do not touch the blades with
your fingers. The blades are very sharp and can cause injury if touched.
IMPORTANT! All blade attachments include a seal ring that creates an airtight seal
during processing. Always check to be sure the ring is present and properly fitted
into the collar before use.
4. For quick clean-ups, fill the blender jar or any tumbler ¼ full with clean, warm
water. Following the steps outlined in the Operating Instructions, process on LOW
for 5 seconds. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
5. If necessary, soak blades in soapy water for 10 to 15 minutes. Use any small nylon
bristle brush to remove processed food from the blade and the blade area.
6. Wash all lids and tumbler rings in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
CAUTION: Never use rough scouring pads or abrasive cleansers on any plastic or
metal parts as the surface may be damaged.
7. All attachments and accessories, except for the motor base, are top-rack only
dishwasher safe.
8. The motor base may be wiped with a damp cloth or sponge. Dry thoroughly.
WARNING: DO NOT IMMERSE THE MOTOR BASE IN WATER.
Storing Instructions
1. Unplug and clean blender.
2. Store in original box or in a clean, dry place.
3. Never store the Chefman Dynamic Blending System immediately after use or while
it is plugged in.
4. Never wrap cord tightly around the appliance. Never place any stress on cord,
especially where the cord enters the motor base, as this could cause the cord to
fray and break.

• Allow blender to rest for at least
3 minutes. Then replace blender jar
or tumbler and continue blending.
1. Heat the oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add the chopped
onions and garlic with the salt, pepper and thyme. Sauté until soft and
fragrant, about 5 minutes.
2. Add the tomatoes and chicken broth and turn up heat so that the soup
comes to a boil. Once boiling, reduce temperature to maintain a healthy simmer.
Add the cream and let simmer for about 5 to 8 minutes.
3. Once finished, add ingredients to the blender jar. Blend, starting on LOW for about
5 to 10 seconds, and then increase to HIGH for 45 seconds total.
4. Taste and adjust seasoning accordingly before serving.
CHEFMAN LLC warrants, subject to the conditions stated below, that from the date of purchase, this product will
be free from mechanical defects for a period of THREE (3) year. CHEFMAN LLC, at its option, will repair or replace
this product found to be defective during the warranty period. Should this product become defective by reason
of improper workmanship or material defect during the specified warranty period, CHEFMAN LLC will repair or
replace the same effecting all necessary parts replacements for a period of three years from the date of purchase.
Transportation charges on parts, or products in whole, submitted for repair or replacement, under this warranty,
must be borne by the purchaser.
This warranty is available to consumers only. You are a consumer if you own a CHEFMAN® DYNAMIC BLENDING
SYSTEM that was purchased at retail for personal, family or household use. Except as otherwise required under
applicable law, this warranty is not available to retailers or other commercial purchasers or owners.
CONDITIONS: This warranty is valid for the original USA retail purchaser from the date of initial retail purchase
and is not transferable. Keep the original sales receipt. Proof of purchase is required to obtain warranty service or
replacement. Dealers, service centers, or retail stores do not have the right to alter, modify or in any way, change the
terms and conditions of this warranty. Warranty registration is not necessary to obtain warranty on CHEFMAN LLC
Products. Save your proof of purchase receipt.
ABOUT YOUR PRODUCT WARRANTY: Most warranty repairs are handled routinely, but sometimes requests for
warranty service may not be appropriate. For example, warranty service would NOT apply if the product damage
occurred because of misuse, lack of routine maintenance, shipping, handling, warehousing or improper installation.
Similarly, the warranty is void if the manufacturing date or the serial number on the product has been removed or
the equipment has been altered or modified. During the warranty period, the authorized service dealer, at its option,
will repair or replace any part that, upon examination, is found to be defective under normal use and service.
NORMAL WEAR: This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting from any of the following:
negligent use or misuse of the product; improper voltage or current; use contrary to the operation instructions;
deviation from instructions regarding storage and transportation; repair or alteration by anyone other than
CHEFMAN LLC or an authorized service center. Further, the warranty does not cover Acts of God, such as fire,
flood, hurricanes and tornadoes. CHEFMAN LLC shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages
caused by the breach of any express or implied warranty. Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, any
implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose is limited in duration to the duration of the
above warranty. Some states, provinces or jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental of
consequential damages or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusion
may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from
state to state or province to province.
