2. Introduction

Description

The Ovation E-260CW delivers an excellent white light with a cool color temperature and a beautiful flat field. It a lso features standard beam s haping shutters, a gobo/effec t slot and lens barrels that are interchangeable with other popular ERS fixtures. Selectable dimming curves ensure smooth fading cues that intermix well with the output of conventional theatre ellipsoidals.

DMX Linking

You can link the Ovation E-260CW to a DMX controller us ing a 3- or 5-pin DMX connection. If
using other DMX-compatible products with the Ovation E-260CW
, you can control each
individually with a single DMX controller.

The Ovation E-260CW uses the standard DMX da ta connect ion for the 1-, 2-, 3- and 6- channel
personalities.
If you are not familiar with or need more information about DM X standards, Master/Slave connectivity, or the DMX cables needed to link this product to a DMX controller, download the DMX Primer from the Chauvet website: www.chauvetprofessional.com.
Remote Device
Management
Remote Device Management, or RDM, is a standard for allowing DMX-enabled devices to

Master/Slave
The Master/Slave m ode allows a single Ovat ion E-260CW (the “master” ) to control the actions

The Ovation E-260CW has a manual focus, which is adjusted as follows.

Configuration
Use standalone configuration to operate the product without a DMX controller.

The Manual Static m ode allows for manual contro l of intensity and strobe rate without a DMX
