Safety Notes

These Safety Notes include important information about installation, use, and maintenance.

• This product is not intended for permanent installation.

• ONLY connect this product to a grounded and pro tec te d circ uit.

• Always disconnect from power before cleaning or replacing the fuse.

• DO NOT look at the light source when the product is on.

• Never disconnect this product from power by pulling on the cord.

• Do not use if the power cable, bulbs or strings are damaged in any way.

• When mounting this product and controller overhead, use a safety cable.

• DO NOT allow flammable materials close to the unit while operating.

• The bulbs can get hot with excessive use. A void touching them with b are hands, and always al low the bulb to cool before handling.

• The Festoon String is for indoor or temporary outdoor use (IP43). Do not expose to harsh or excessively corrosive environmental conditions (whether indoors or outdoors), including, but not limited to, extreme temperatures, humidity , atmospheric conditions (including salinity or pressure), radiation (UV, infrared or nuclear), shock and conditions which exceed the product’s Ingress Protection (IP) rating.

• The Festoon Strings may be exposed to rain and moisture, as long as the bulbs hang at a 90° angle to the ground. The Festoon controller is not intended for outdoor use.

• The Festoon Controller is IP20 rated. Keep it away from water, solvents and che micals. Take care to site it away from potential water hazards, for example, do not install it beneath pipes that are subject to condensation. Avoid installing it where excessive humidity and condensation may occur

• Always mount this product in a location with adequate ventilation, at least 20 in (50 cm) from adjacent surfaces.

• Never connect this product to a dimmer or rheostat.

• Replace the fuse with the same type and rating.

• The maximum ambient temperature is 104 °F (40 °C). Do not operate this product at higher temperatures.

• DO NOT open this product. It contains no user-serviceable parts.

• To eliminate unnecessary wear and improve its lifespan, during periods of disuse completely disconnect the product from the power via breaker or by unplugging it.

To Begin

Carefully unpack the product and check that all the parts are in the package, and are in good condition. If the box, or any of the contents, appear damaged from shipping, or show signs of mishandling, save all packaging and

file a claim with the carrier immediately. Do not notify Chauvet. Failure to report damage to the carrier immediately, or failure to have all packaging available for inspection, could invalidate your claim.

For other issues, such as missing components or parts, damage not related to shipping, or concealed damage, file a claim with Chauvet within 7 days of delivery.

Your Festoon string comes with an IP rated cap meant to terminate the end of the festoon string. Retain this cap, and ALWAYS terminate the open end of your string when being used outdoors or near moisture.

Product Description

The Festoon is a weather-resistant chain of shatterproof RGB LED bulbs on strands of IP rated rubber cabling. Manufactured with hanging in mind, the Fe st oo n bu lb s hav e molded eyelets for easy mounting and installation. Capable of producing up to 19 preprogrammed color options, suitable under prolonged use and adverse weather conditions, connect up to three Festoon EXTs and bedeck, adorn or decorate any venue with class and confidence.

The Festoon is also fully compatible with the wireless D-Fi USB by Chauvet. *Additional Festoon EXT light strands are available for purchase separately

AC Power

This product has an auto-ranging power supply that can work with an input voltage range of 100–240 VAC, 50/60 Hz.

To eliminate wear and improve its lifespan, during periods of non-use completely disconnect the product from power via breaker or by unplugging it.

Power Linking

For the maximum number of Festoon that can be powe r li nked at 120 V or at 230 V, see the User Manual or the label on the product.

Fuse Replacement

1. Disconnect the product from power.

2. Wedge the tip of a flat-head screwdriver into the slot of the fuse holder.

3. Pry the safety cap out of the housing.

4. Remove the blown fuse from the clip on the front of the safety cap and replace with a fuse of the exact same type and rating.

5. Re-insert the fuse holder and reconnect power.

This end goes to additional Festoon Strings (Festoon EXT). If you are not using additional strings, terminate the end of the cable with the provided IP rated cap.

This end goes to the controller. You may use the extension string if you need more distance for mounting.

D-FI USB Connectivity

The Festoon is able to become a D-Fi wireless receiver/transmitter with the use of the D-Fi USB from CHAUVET DJ. Simply set the DIP switch D-Fi receiving/transmitting channel, plug it into the USB port then set the product's DMX Personality and DMX Address. Further instructions for connecting and configuring this product for D-Fi USB operation are in the Festoon User Manual or D-Fi USB Instruction Sheet.

WARNING! DO NOT plug anything other than a D-Fi USB into the USB port. Doing so may cause damage to the product.

IRC-6 (Infrared Remote Control)

The Festoon is fully compatible with the Infrared Remote Control (IRC-6) from CHAUVET DJ. For more information on the IRC-6 or to download instructions, go to www.chauvetdj.com.

DMX Linking

The Festoon can work with a DMX controller. Instructions for connecting and configuring this product for DMX operation are in the User Manual. If you are not familiar with DMX or DIP-switch configuration, download the DMX Primer from

To ensure full access to the channels available in DMX mode, the highest recommended DMX address is

Master/Slave Connection

The Festoon uses the DMX data connection for its Master/Slave mode. Instructions for connecting and configuring this product for Master/Slave operation are in the User Manual.

Pixel Mapping Personalities

DMX pixel mapping personalities assign individual DMX control to each bulb in the Festoon string/s. The pixel mapping personality to use depends on the number of Festoon EXT strings you have connected. To put the

Festoon into a pixel mapping personality simply select one of the following DMX personalities.

• 1 String uses the 60CH personality

• 2 Strings use the 120CH personality

• 3 Strings use the 180CH personality

For example, if there are 1 festoon string and 1 festoon EXT strin g co nnected, the Led setting in the menu must be Led2 for the 120CH personality to be selected.

Para empezar

Descripción del producto

El Festoon es una cadena resistente a la intemperie de bombillas LED RGB inastillables en hilos de cableado de caucho con protección IP. Diseñadas para colgarse, las bombillas del Festoon tienen ojales moldeados para facilitar el montaje y la instalación. Con capacidad para producir hasta 19 opciones de color prepr ogramadas, apto para uso prolongado y condiciones meteorológicas adversas, conecte hasta tres Festoon EXT y ornamente, adorne o decore cualquier evento con clase y confianza.

Este producto tiene una fuente de alimentación con detección automática que puede funcionar con un rango de tensión de entrada de 100~240 VCA, 50/60 Hz.

Para evitar el desgaste y alargar su vida útil, desconect e completamente el producto mediante el interruptor o desenchufándolo durante periodos en que no se use.

Alimentación en cadena

Para ver el máximo número de unidades Festoon que se pueden alimentar en cadena a 120 V o a 230 V, consulte el Manual de usuario o la etiqueta del producto.

Sustitución del fusible

1. Desconecte el producto de la alimentación.

2. Haga cuña con la punta de un destornillador plano en la ranura del portafusibles.

3. Saque la tapa de seguridad de la carcasa.

4. Quite el fusible fundido de la sujeción en la parte frontal de la tapa de seguridad y sustituya el fusible con otro del mismo tipo y categoría.

5. Vuelva a insertar el portafusibles y conecte de nuevo la alimentación.

¡ADVERTENCIA! NO enchufe nada que no sea un D-Fi USB en el puerto USB. Si lo hace, podría producir daños al producto.

Conectividad D-Fi USB

El Festoon controlo tiene la capacidad de convertirse en un receptor/transmisor D-Fi inalámbrico utilizando el D-Fi USB de CHAUVET DJ. Simplemente configure el conmutador DIP para el canal de recepción/transmisión del D-Fi, ench úfelo en el puerto USB y luego configure la personalidad DMX del producto y la dirección DMX. Enlace DMX

Personalidades de mapeo de píxeles

Las personalidades de mapeo de píxeles asignan control DMX individual a cada bombilla en las tiras del Festoon. La personalidad de mapeo de píxeles que se use depende del número de tiras Festoon EXT que se hayan conectado.

Para poner el Festoon en una personalidad de mapeo de píxeles, simplemente seleccione una de las siguientes personalidades DMX.

• 1 tira usa la personalidad de 60C

• 2 tiras usan la personalidad de 120C

• 3 tiras usan la personalidad de 180C

Por ejemplo, si hay 1 tira de Festoon y 1 tira de Festoon EXT conectadas, la configuración de Led en el menú debe ser

Led2 para que se seleccione la personalidad de 120C.

Description de l'appareil

Le Festoon est une guirlande résistante à l'eau composée d'ampoules LED RGB incassables montées sur des câbles en caoutchouc de norme IP. Les ampoules du Festoon sont prévues pour être suspendues et disposent d'œillets pour un montage et une installation aisées. Le Festoon est capable de générer jusqu'à 19 couleurs préprogrammées, est utilisable sur de longues périodes d'utilisation et dans des conditions météorologiques difficiles. Il est possible de connecter jusqu'à trois Festoon EXT pour décorer et embellir n'importe quel événement avec classe et confidence.

Alimentation CA

Cet appareil est doté d'une alimentation universelle prenant en charge toute tension d'entrée comprise entre 100 et 240 VCA, 50/60 Hz.

Durant les périodes de non-utilisation, pour éviter tout usure inut ile et pour pro longer la durée d e vie, déconnectez-entièrement l'appareil en le débrancha nt de l'alimentation électrique ou en coupant le disjoncteur.

Chaînage électrique

Pour savoir combien de projecteurs Festoon peuvent être chaînés entre eux au maximum sur du 120 V ou du 230 V, veuillez consulter le manuel de l'utilisateur ou l'étiquette sur l'appareil

Remplacement du fusible

1. Débranchez l'appareil.

2. Calez la pointe d'un tournevis à tête plate dans la fente du porte-fusible.

3. Soulevez le capuchon de sécurité hors du boîtier.

4. Enlevez le fusible grillé logé dans le clip sur le devant du capuchon de sécurité et remplacez-le par un fusible de même type et de même ampérage.

5. Remettez le porte-fusible en place puis rebranchez.

ATTENTION ! NE branchez QUE des appareils D-Fi USB sur le port USB. Le no n respect de cette consigne peut endommager l'appareil.

IRC-6 (Télécommande par infrarouge)

Connexion maître/esclave

Connectivité D-Fi USB

Le Festoon peut se transformer en récepteur/émetteur D-Fi sans fil avec l'utilisation du module D-Fi USB de CHAUVET DJ. Il suffit de régler l'interrupteur DIP sur le canal réception/émission, de brancher le module sur le port USB et de paramétrer la personnalité et l'adresse DMX de l'appareil. Vous trouverez davantage d'instructions pour la connexion et la configuration de cet appareil pour le fonctionnement en DMX dans le manuel d'utilisation.

Personnalités de mappage de pixels

Les personnalités de mappage de pixels DMX permettent d'affecter un contrôle DMX à chaque ampoule des guirlandes Festoon.

La personnalité de mappage de pixels à utiliser dépends du nombre de guirlandes Festoon EXT connectées. Pour paramétrer le Festoon sur une personnalité de mappage de pixels, il suffit de sélectionner l'une des personnalités DMX suivantes.

• 1 guirlande nécessite l'utilisation de la personnalité 60CH.

• 2 guirlandes nécessitent l'utilisation de la personnalité 120CH.

• 3 guirlandes nécessitent l'utilisation de la personnalité 180CH.

Par exemple, si une guirlande Festoon et une extension Festoon EXT sont connectées, le paramètre Led du menu doit être à la valeur Led2 pour que la personnalité 120CH soit sélectionnée.

• Achten Sie beim Auswechseln der Sicherung darauf, den gleichen Typ mit den gleichen W erten zu verwenden.

• Die maximal zulässige Umgebungstemperatur beträgt 40 °C. Nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht bei höheren Temperaturen in Betrieb.

• Bei ernsthaften Betriebsproblemen stoppen Sie umgehend die Verwendung des Geräts.

• Dieses Gerät NICHT öffnen. Die eingebauten Komponenten sind für den Kunden wartungsfrei.

• Um unnötigen Verschleiß zu vermeiden und die Lebensdauer des Geräts zu verlängern, trennen Sie während längerer Perioden des Nichtgebrauchs das Gerät vo m Stromnetz – entweder per Trennschalter oder durch Herausziehen des Steckers aus der Steckdo se.

Packen Sie Ihren Festoon aus und überprüfen Sie, ob Sie alle Teile unbeschädigt erhalten haben. Wenn die V erp ackung beschädigt ist, benachrichtigen Sie umgehend das Transportunternehmen, nicht jedoch Chauvet.

Die Festoon-Lichterkette hat eine mit einer Schutzart ( IP) versehene Kappe für den Absc hluss der Festoon-Lichterkette. Diese Kappe ist aufzubewahren. Das offene Ende der Lichterkette muss bei einer Verwendung im Außenbereich oder in der Nähe von Feuchtigkeit IMMER einen Abschluss erhalten.

Produktbeschreibung

Die Festoon ist eine wasserfeste Kette aus bruchsicheren RGB-LED-Lampen, die an einer mit einer Schutzart (IP) versehenen gummierten V erkabelung angeschlossen sind. Die Festoo n-Glühbirnen verfügen für eine einfache hängend e Montage und Installation über Ösen. Mit der Festoon können bis zu 19 vorprogrammierte Farboptionen erzeugt werden , sie ist auch für längere Einsätze und für Einsätze unter schwierigen Wetterbedingungen geeignet. Es können bis zu 3 Festoon EXT (Verlängerungen) miteinander verb unden werden, um jedem Veranstaltungsort das gewisse Etwas zu verleihen.

Die Festoon ist vollständig kompatibel mit der drahtlosen D-Fi USB von Chauvet. *Zusätzliche Festoon-V erlängerungen sind separat erhältlich.

Dieses Gerät verfügt über ein Vorschaltgerät, das automatisch die anliegende Spannung erkennt, sobald der Netzstecker in die Schukosteckdose gesteckt wird, und kann mit einer Eingangsspannung von 100~240 V AC, 50/60 Hz arbeiten.

Um Verschleiß zu vermeiden und die Lebensdauer des Geräts zu verlängern, trennen Sie während längerer Perioden des Nichtgebrauchs das Gerät vom Stromnetz – entweder per Trennschalter oder durch Herausziehen des Steckers aus der Steckdose.

Serienschaltung der Geräte

Informationen zur maximalen Anzahl der Festoon-Geräte, die bei 120 V oder 230 V in Serie geschaltet werden können, finden Sie in der Bedienungsanleitung oder auf dem Typenschild am Gerät.

Auswechseln der Sicherung

1. Trennen Sie das Gerät vom Stromnetz.

2. Klemmen Sie die Spitze eines Flachkopfschraubendrehers in den Schlitz des Sicherungshalters.

3. Hebeln Sie die Sicherheitsabdeckung vom Gehäuse ab.

4. Entfernen Sie die durchgebrannte Sicherung von der Klemme am Vorderteil der Sicherheitsabdeckung, und ersetzen Sie diese durch eine Sicherung des gleichen Typs und mit den gleichen Werten.

5. Stecken Sie den Sicherungshalter wieder zurück, und schließen Sie das Gerät an das Stromnetz an.

Dieses Ende geht zu den FestoonLichterketten (Festoon EXT). Wenn Sie keine zusätzlichen Lichterketten verwenden, schließen Sie das Ende des Kabels mit der beiliegenden, mit einer Schutzart (IP) versehenen Kappe ab.

Dieses Ende geht zum Controller. Sie können die Verlängerungs-Lichterkette verwenden, wenn Sie einen größeren Abstand zur Befestigung benötigen.

Die Festoon-Lichterkette kann im Innen- und vorübergehend im Außenbereich verwendet werden (IP43). Dieses Gerät nicht in rauen oder übermäßig aggressiven Umgebungen (sowohl im Innen- wie auch im Außenbereich) verwenden. Weitere Anweisungen zum Zusammenschluss und der Konfiguration dieses Geräts für den Betrieb mit D-Fi USB finden Sie im Benutzerhandbuch.

ACHTUNG! KEIN anderes Gerät als einen D-Fi USB in den USB-Anschluss einstecken. Dies könnte zu Beschädigungen des Produkts führen.

Eigenschaften der Pixel-Zuordnung

Die Eigenschaften der DMX-Pixel-Zuordnung ordnen die einzelne DMX-Steuerung jeder Glühbirne in den FestoonLichterketten zu.

Welche Eigenschaften der Pixel-Zuordnung zu verwenden sind, hängt von der Anzahl der angeschlossenen Festoon EXT-Lichterketten ab. Um die Festoon in eine Eigenschaft der Pixel-Zuordnung umzuwandeln, wählen Sie einfach eine der folgenden DMX-Eigenschaften aus.

• 1 Lichterkette verwendet die Eigenschaft 60 Kanäle

• 2 Lichterketten verwenden die Eigenschaft 120 Kanäle

• 3 Lichterketten verwenden die Eigenschaft 180 Kanäle

• La striscia Festoon è adatta ad uso interno o temporaneo in esterni (IP43). Non esporre a condizioni ambientali difficili o eccessivamente corrosive (sia in interni che in esterni) incluse, ma non limitate a, eccessiva temperatura, umidità, eventi atmosferici (inclusi salinità e pressione), radiazioni (UV, infrarosse o nucleari), urti e condizioni che superino la classificazione di protezione IP.

• È possibile esporre le Strisce Festoon alla pioggia e all'umidità fin quando le lampade si trovino a 90 gradi rispetto al suolo. Il controller Festoon non è adatto all'utilizzo in esterni.

Per iniziare

Disimballare Festoon ed accertarsi di aver ricevuto tutti i componenti integri. Se l'imballo appare danneggiato, farlo immediatamente presente al trasportatore e non a Chauvet.

Le strisce Festoon vengono fornite con cappellotto di terminazione a norma IP da montare all'estremità. Conservarlo ed utilizzarlo SEMPRE per terminare l'estremità aperta della striscia in caso di impiego in esterni o in prossimità di condensa.

Descrizione del prodotto

La striscia Festoon è costituita da una serie di lampade infrangibili a LED RGB, resistenti agli agenti atmosferici, montate su trefoli di cablaggio in gomma a norma IP. Prodotte pensando al montaggio sospe so, le strisce Festoon sono dotate di occhielli stampati per facilitare il montaggio e l'installazione. Sono in grado di generare fino a 19 opzioni colore preprogrammate, sono adatte ad impiego prolungato e condizioni atmosferiche difficili ed è possibile collegare fino a tre prolunghe Festoon EXT per adornare, abbellire o decorare qualsiasi ambiente con classe.

La striscia Festoon è inoltre pienamente compatibile con D-Fi USB di Chauvet. *È possibile acquistare separatamente prolunghe Festoon EXT aggiuntive.

Per evitarne l'eccessiva usura e migliorarne la durata nel tempo, scollegare l'unità dalla presa elettrica o disattivare l'alimentazione tramite l'apposito interruttore, se inutilizzata per lunghi periodi.

Collegamento

Per il numero massimo di unità collegabili in cascata a 120 V oppure a 230 V, fare riferimento al Manuale Utente o alla targhetta collocata sul prodotto.

Sostituzione fusibile

1. Scollegare l'alimentazione elettrica dall'unità.

2. Inserire la punta di un giravite a testa piatta nella fessura dell'alloggiamento del fusibile.

3. Rimuovere dall'alloggiamento il cappellotto di sicurezza.

4. Rimuovere il fusibile bruciato dalla clip sulla parte anteriore del cappellotto di sicurezza e sostituirlo con uno identico.

5. Reinserire il portafusibile e ricollegare l'alimentazione elettrica.

ATTENZIONE! Nella porta USB collegare SOLO un D-Fi USB. In caso contrario l'unità potrebbe danneggiarsi.

Controller Festoon

Questa estremità si collega alle strisce Festoon di prolunga (Festoon EXT). Se non si utilizzano strisce aggiuntive, terminare l'estremità del cavo con il cappellotto IP fornito.

Questa estremità va al controller. In caso sia necessaria una distanza di montaggio maggiore è possibile utilizzare la striscia di prolunga.

Il Controller Festoon ha una classificazione IP20. Tenerlo lontano da acqua, solventi e sostanze chimiche. Prestare attenzione ad installarlo lontano da potenziali sorgenti d'acqua; p.es., non sotto tubazioni soggette a condensa.

La striscia Festoon è adatta ad uso interno o temporaneo in esterni (IP43). Non esporre a condizioni ambientali difficili o eccessivamente corrosive (sia in interni che in esterni) incluse, ma non limitate a, eccessiva temperatura, umidità, eve nti atmosfer ici (i nclusi salinità e pressione), radiazioni (UV, infrarosse o nucleari), urti e condizioni che superino la classificazione di protezione IP.

È possibile esporre le Strisce Festoon alla pioggia e all'umidità fin quando le lampade si trovino a 90 gradi rispetto al suolo. Il controller Festoon non è adatto all'utilizzo in esterni

Connettività D-Fi USB

Festoon può diventare un ricetrasmettitore wireless D-Fi utilizzando il D-Fi USB di CHAUVET DJ. È sufficiente impostare il DIP switch del canale di ricezione/trasmissione D-Fi dell'unità, collegarla alla porta USB e poi impostare funzione e indirizzo DMX. Le istruzioni complete per il collegamento e la configurazione di questa unità per il funzionamento D-Fi USB sono contenute nel Manuale Utente.

ATTENZIONE! Nella porta USB collegare SOLO un D-Fi USB. In caso contrario l'unità potrebbe danneggiarsi.

Funzioni della mappatura pixel

Le funzioni DMX per la mappatura dei pixel assegnano il controllo DMX individuale a ciascuna lampada della striscia Festoon.

La funzione di mappatura pixel dipende dal numero di strisce Festoon EXT coll egate. Per inser ire una striscia Festoon in una funzione di mappatura pixel selezionare una delle funzioni DMX che seguono.

• Due strisce utilizzano la funzione 120CH

• Dit product is niet bedoeld voor permanente installatie.

• De Festoon String is gebruik binnenshuis of tijdelijk gebruik buitenshuis (IP43). Plaats het dus bijvoorbeeld niet onder leidingen die kunnen condenseren. Installeer het niet op plekken waar overmatige vochtigheid en condensatie kunnen optreden.

• Monteer dit product altijd op een plek met voldoende ventilatie, minstens 20 inch (50 cm) van de aangrenzende oppervlakken.

• Sluit dit product nooit aan op een dimmer of een regelweerstand.

• Verva ng de zekering met een van hetzelfde type en met dezelfde waarde .

• De maximale omgevingstemperatuur bedraagt 104 °F (40 °C). Gebruik dit product niet bij hogere temperaturen.

• Stop in het geval van ernstige operationele problemen onmiddellijk met het gebruik.

• Open het product NIET. Het bevat geen te onderhouden onderdelen.

• Sluit om onnodige slijtage te verhinderen en de levensduur te verlengen tijdens periodes van nietgebruik het product via stroomonderbreker of de stekker volledig van stroom af.

Om te beginnen

Pak uw Festoon uit en verzeker dat u alle onderdelen in goede staat hebt ontvangen. Als de doos of inhoud beschadigd lijkt, stel dan de vervoerder onmiddellijk op de hoogte, niet Chauvet.

Uw Festoon-snoer wordt geleverd met een dop met IP-klasse die is bedoeld voor het einde van het festoon-snoer. Bewaar deze dop en sluit het open einde van uw snoer ALTIJD af als deze buiten of in de buurt van vocht wordt gebruikt.

Product Beschrijving

De Festoon is een weersbestendige keten van onbreekbare RGB LED-lampen op strengen rubberkabel met een IPklasse. De Festoon-lampen zijn geoproduceerd om te worden opgehangen en bevatten voorgevormde ogen voor eenvoudige montage en installatie. Voor het produceren van tot 19 voorgeprogrammeerde kleuropties, die geschikt zijn voor langdurig gebruik en slechte weersomstandigheden, kunt u tot drie Festoon EXT’s met elkaar verbinden en elke ruimte met klasse en vertrouwen versieren, verfraaien en decoreren.

De Festoon is ook volledig compatibel met de draadloze D-Fi USB van Chauvet. *Extra Festoon EXT-lichtstrengen worden apart verkocht.

AC-stroom

Dit product heeft een voeding met autobereik die werkt met een ingangsspanning van 100 ~ 240 VAC, 50/60 Hz.

Om slijtage te elimineren en zijn levensduur te verlengen, gedurende perioden wanneer het product niet wordt gebruikt, moet u de stroom afslui ten door een aa rdlekschakelaar om te zetten of door het te ontkoppelen.

Power Linking

Zie de gebruikershandleiding of het etiket op het product voor het maximum aantal te koppelen Festoon-eenheden (power linking) bij 120 V of 230 V.

Vervangen van de zekering

1. Ontkoppel het apparaat van de stroom.

2. Wig de punt van een platte schroevendraaier in de sleuf van de zekeringhouder.

3. Druk de beveiligingskap uit de behuizing.

4. Verwijder de doorgebrande zekering vanaf de clip aan de voorkant van de veiligheidsafdekking en vervang deze door een zekering van exact hetzelfde type.

5. Plaats de zekeringhouder terug en steek de stekker er weer in.

Dit einde gaat naar de extra Festoon-snoeren (Festoon EXT). Als u geen extra snoeren gebruikt, kunt u het einde van de kabel beëindigen met de meegeleverde IP-gecertificeerde dop.

Uw Festoon-snoer wordt geleverd met een dop met IP-klasse die is bedoeld voor het einde van het festoonsnoer. Bewaar deze dop en sluit het open einde van uw snoer ALTIJD af als deze buiten of in de buur t van voc ht wordt gebruikt.

D-Fi USB-connectiviteit

De Festoon kan door middel van de D-Fi USB van CHAUVET DJ een draadloze D-Fi zender/ontvanger worden. Stel simpelweg de DIP-schakelaar van het D-Fi zend-/ontvangstkanaal in, plaats het in de USB- poort en stel de DMXpersoonlijkheid en het DMX-adres van het product in. Verdere instructies voor het aansluiten en configureren van dit product voor D-Fi USB-bediening staan in de gebruikershandleiding.

Waarschuwing! NIETS anders dan een D-Fi-USB in de USB-poort plaatsen. Dit kan het product namelijk beschadigen.

Pixelmapping-persoonlijkheden

DMX-pixelmapping-persoonlijkheden wijzen individuele DMX-regeling toe aan elke lamp in het/de Festoon-streng(en). De pixelmapping-persoonlijkheid die moet worden gebruikt is afhankelijk van het aantal Festoon EXT-strengen dat u hebt

gekoppeld. Om de Festoon in een pixelmapping-persoonlijkheid te plaatsen selecteert u simpelweg een van de volgende DMX-persoonlijkheden.

• 1 streng gebruikt de persoonlijkheid 60CH

• 2 strengen gebruiken de persoonlijkheid 120CH

• 3 strengen gebruiken de persoonlijkheid 180CH

Als erbijvoorbeeld 1 festoon-streng en 1 festoon EXT-streng zijn verbonden, dan moet de Led-instelling in het menu

Led2 zijn om de persoonlijkheid 120CH te selecteren.
