CONVENTIONS USED IN THIS MANUAL
This manual provides general safety guidelines to be observed when planning for, installing,
and operating your TeraFrame HD cabinet.
Special messages used throughout this manual are explained below:

directions in the warning could result in bodily harm or loss of life. Obey all
safety messages that follow this symbol to avoid possible injury or death.
CAUTION: Text highlighted in this manner indicates that failure to follow
instructions could result in damage to equipment or data.

NOTE: Text set off in this manner presents commentary, sidelights, or interesting points of

WARNING:
• To reduce the risk of personal injury or damage to the equipment, do
not attempt to move large equipment cabinets alone. A minimum of
three people are required to move and position the cabinet.
• Obtain adequate assistance to stabilize the rack during movement or
hire professional equipment handlers.
• Only trained and qualified personnel should unpack and install large
equipment cabinets. Qualified personnel must be trained and certified
in moving large form factor electronic equipment.
• Use recommended equipment (fork lift or pallet jack) to move the
cabinet while still on its shipping pallet.
• When possible leave the equipment on the pallet until you are ready to
move it to its final destination.
