Module Integration Guide

The Communication Module for Express 250 DC Fast Charging Station with model
number/HVIN: CPNK500, FCC ID: FCC ID: W38-28010106 and IC ID: 8854A-28010106 has
been certified for the US and CANADA under a limited modular approval.

This restricts the use of the Communication Module to charging station host products of
Charpoint Inc. This restriction of use ensures the 20 cm distance to persons of the general
public mandated by the RF exposure requirement.

The installation and repair of the communication module may only be performed by
technical personal associated to Chargepoint Inc.

The CPNK500 may only be combined with other radios in a host when following current
FCC guidance for integration of multiple radios.

This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two
conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must
accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired
operation.

This device contains licence-exempt transmitter(s)/receiver(s) that comply with
Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada’s licence-exempt RSS(s). Operation
is subject to the following two conditions:
(1) This device may not cause interference.
(2) This device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause
undesired operation of the device.

Individual host product must be marked with “FCC ID: FCC ID: W38-28010106” and
contains “IC ID: 8854A-28010106 “

Each individual host product that integrates the module still needs SDOC (supplier
declaration of conformity) and provide evidence that the unintentional emissions
requirements in FCC part 15B and ICES-003 are met.

Changes or modifications not expressly approved by Chargepoint Inc. void the user's
authority to operate the equipment.
