Char-BroilguaranteestheChar-BroiPElectricPatioCaddieTM shall

befreefromdefectsinbothmaterialandworkmanshipundernormal
andreasonableuse(andcorrectassemblyasassembledbythe

consumer-purchaser)bytheoriginalpurchaser,foroutdoor
householduse,forthefollowingperiodsas specifiedherein:

1. Porcelaintopandbottom,legs,base- for five(5)yearsfromthe
dateofpurchase.

2. Electricalcontrolandheatingelement- fora periodofthree(3)
yearsfromthedateofpurchase.

3. All otherpartsincludinghandles,wheelsendtemperaturegauge

-fora periodofone(1)yearfromthedateofpurchase.

Iftheproductfailstooperateduetomanufacturingdefectthe
defectivepartwillberepairedorreplacedatChar-Broil'soption.The

To preventelectricalshock:

• Useonlywith GFI (GroundFault Interrupter)protected
circuit.

• Donot use grillwhen raining.

To preventgrill from being splashedor falling intowater,
do not usegrillwithin 10feet of pool, pondor other body

of water,

• Keepgrill and electriccontrollerdry and outof rain at all
times.

• Whenconnectingcontrollerto grill, plug electriccontroller

intogrill first, makesure controlleris set to OFF,then
plug intooutlet.When unplugging,turn controllerto OFF,

disconnectfrom outlet,then removecontrollerfrom grill.

• Unpluggrill when not in use and before moving.

• Donot operategrill withan electriccontrollerthat has a
damagedcord, plugor metalprobe. Call Char-Broilfor a

replacementcontroller,Theelectric controller ismade

specificallyfor this grill,

• Neverremovegroundingplug or usewith an adapterto
two prongs,

• Keepelectricplugs off ground and dry.

Neverputcontroller, cordorheatingelementin water or
anyother liquid.

• Donot allow cordto touch hotgrill.

• Storecontroller indoorswhen notin use,

• Donot use wateror other liquidspray to clean product
withoutfirst unpluggingelectric controllerand removing

heatingelement.

gauge extensioncord of 50 ft. or less is acceptable.
