Safety Guidelines

• This grill is i ntended for OUTDOOR USE ONLY . Do not attempt to use this grill i n an

enclos ed are a or under an over h ead cover of any kind, including a tent, patio cover or any
other building.

• Do not use grill with in 36” of any combustible material. Combustible materials include,

but are n ot lim ited to wo o d, or treated wood decks, patios, porches , walls, vehicl es,
gasoline, lighter fluid, or any other flammable liquid.

• Do not add charcoal lighter flui d or charcoal that is pre-soaked in lig hter flui d to hot or

warm charcoal.

• Do not use gasoline, alcohol, kerosene, or any other highly flammable liquid, except for

lighter fluid that is intended for lighting charcoal. Be sure to follow lighting instructions
on carton. B e su re to clea n up any spills befo re l ighti ng charcoal.

• Place grill outside on a firm level surface that will NO T burn or melt.

• Do not use more than 5 pound of charcoal in this grill.

• Do not leave hot grill u n attended or where children or pets are present.

• Do not attempt to move gr ill once it has been lit or while it is still hot.

• Do not use grill unless all parts are in working condition and in place. Never use grill

without the ash catcher attached (if equipped).

• Grill will be extremely hot while in use, always use proper cooking mitts and utensils while

cooking, or adjusting cooking or charcoal grates. Avoid skin contact with hot grill.

• To extinguish charcoal, close all vents and place lid on grill until coals are comple tely out.

• Do no t remove ashes o r used coals fro m grill, unt il coals a re comp letely bu r n e d o u t and

fully extin guished.

• Do not use in windy conditions.

• Lid will be very hot; avoid setting hot lid o n grass, carpet, furn iture or deck.
