INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
1. Insert probe into thickest part of meat or fowl at end of cooking time.  Be sure tip is not touching bone, gristle, the pan, or inserted into cavity of fowl.
3. Wash probe with hot, soapy water after each insertion to prevent cross-contamination.
RECALIBRATION: To check thermometer for accuracy, immerse probe 2" into boiling water (212°F) or ice bath (32°F). Allow 30 seconds before adjusting. Without removing probe, grip recalibration nut by hand and rotate thermometer to correct error.
WARNING: DO NOT leave in oven, rotisserie, or microwave during cooking cycle.

Should this product from Chaney Instrument Co. prove to be defective in material or workmanship within one year of original purchase, it will be repaired or replaced. This warranty does not cover damage in shipment or failure caused by tampering, carelessness or abuse.
