INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
1. Push ON/OFF switch. Push °C/°F switch to select degree scale.
2. Insert sensor into thickest part of burger, up to the metal safety ring. Be sure tip is not  touching the pan.
3. To obtain accurate temperature reading, wait until numbers stop moving, 5-10 seconds.
4. Wash probe with hot, soapy water after each insertion to prevent cross-contamination.
5. Unit will automatically shut off after 10 minutes of non use.
BATTERY REPLACEMENT: See FIG. 1
Remove screw from back of unit. Grasp handle in one hand and digital display casing in other hand. Pull each part in opposite direction until battery compartment is exposed. Replace with 1 "AA" battery. Slide handle back into place. Replace screw.
WARNING:
DO NOT leave in oven, rotisserie, or microwave
DO NOT submerse into water. DO NOT lay handle on hot surface.
during cooking cycle. DO NOT wash in dishwasher.

Should this product from Chaney Instrument Co. prove to be defective in material or workmanship within one year of original purchase, it will be repaired or replaced. This warranty does not cover damage in shipment or failure caused by tampering, carelessness or abuse.
