INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
THE UNIT:
Choose a suitable space away from direct sunlight, heating and air conditioning vents.
Option 1: Use enclosed Velcro for wall mounting.
Option 2: Use flip-down stand to display on flat surface.
THE OUTSIDE SENSOR:
Make sure the remote sensor wire will reach outside before mounting the unit. Remove the
protective paper from sensor, press firmly in position free from direct sunlight and rain.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS:
Slide the battery door open. Insert the battery as indicated.
INDOOR TEMPERATURE READOUT:
1. Slide the switch on the side of the thermometer to the “IN” position. The display will show the
current indoor temperature as detected by the built-in sensor.
2. Press the MIN/MAX button once to display the maximum indoor temperature readout. Press the
MIN/MAX button twice to display the minimum indoor temperature readout. Press the MIN/MAX
button three times to return to the current indoor temperature.
3. Press clear after pushing the MIN/MAX button once to erase the maximum indoor temperature
stored in memory. Press clear after pushing the MIN/MAX button twice to erase the minimum
indoor temperature stored in memory.
4. Slide conversion switch on back side of unit to °F for Fahrenheit temp. readout or °C for Celsius
temperature readout.
5. Pressing the LIGHT button will provide illumination.
OUTDOOR TEMPERATURE READOUT:
1. Slide switch on the side of the thermometer to the “OUT” position. The display will show the
current outdoor temperature as detected by the outside sensor.
2. Follow steps 2 & 3 from above for MIN/MAX outdoor temperature readouts.
