1. Insert probe into thickest part of meat or fowl at end of cooking time. Be sure tip is not touching bone, gristle, the pan, or inserted into cavity of fowl.
2. To obtain accurate temperature reading wait until dial stops moving, 5-10 seconds.
3. Wash probe with hot, soapy water after each insertion to prevent cross-contamination.
RECALIBRATION:
To check thermometer for accuracy, immerse probe 2" into boiling water. Allow 30 seconds before adjusting. Without removing probe, grip adjusting nut with suitable tool and rotate thermometer to correct error.

 DO NOT leave in oven, rotisserie, or microwave
during cooking cycle.
