Read this Manual carefully before use
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be
followed, including the following:
1. Read the entire instruction manual before using the appliance for the fi rst time.
2. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
3. To protect against electric shock do not immerse appliance, cord or plugs in
water or any other liquid.
4. Close supervision is necessary when appliance is used by or near children.
5. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before
putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
6. Do not operate the appliance with a damaged cord or plug or if the appliance
malfunctions, or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the
nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
7. The use of accessory attachments is not recommended by the appliance manu
facturer and may cause injuries to person or property.
8. This appliance is for household use only.
9. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
10. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
11. Extreme caution must be taken when moving an appliance containing hot batter
or other liquids.
12. Always attach plug to appliance fi rst, then plug cord into the wall outlet. To
disconnect, turn control to “off”, then remove plug from wall outlet.
13. Do not use appliance in any way other than for its intended use.
14. Never use the appliance if the supply cord is damaged. It must be replaced by
the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly persons in order to avoid
hazard.
15. The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or
separate remote control system.
16. If a long detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used:
1) The marked electrical rating of the cord or extension cord should be at least
as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.
2) If the appliance is with grounding type, the extension cord should be a
grounding 3-wire cord.
3) The longer cord should be arranged so that it does not drape over the
countertop or table top where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over
unintentionally.
17. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and
persons with reduced physical, sensory of mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be performed by children unless they are older than 8
and under supervision. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children
under the age of 8 years.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Always operate the appliance on an even surface. Make sure that there is
enough ventilation, so that the hot steam can vanish.
2. The temperature of the outer surface may be high when the appliance is
working. Please do not touch outer surface, use knobs or handles.
3. To avoid the danger of fi re, never leave the appliance unattended.
4. Before connecting with supplier mains, the heating plates must be in a closed
position.
OPERATING INSRTUCTIONS
1. Uncoil the cable completely.
2. Check and make sure that the heating plates are clean and dust-free. If
necessary, wipe them with a damp cloth.
3. Place the appliance on a fl at surface.
4. Connect the plug into rated voltage. The cooking surface begins pre-heating
and the red light will be illuminated. Once the cooking surface has reached the
preset temperature (usually this will take about 3-5 minutes), the lamp will be
turned off and this appliance is ready for cooking.
5. Open the appliance and place your food on the lower bowl plate.
6. Close the appliance, the red lamp will be turned off soon.
7. Open the appliance after the lamp is illuminated again, check whether the
pastries/batter are suffi ciently “brown”. The cooking time required to obtain
crisp brown cooked depends on the type of pastries/batter and personal taste.
8. After toasting, open the appliance and remove your food with a wooden or
plastic spatula.
9. The baked waffl e bowls can be eaten directly, or wait for it to cool down and
became hard, use it as bowl and fi ll with ice cream/chocolate/fruit salad etc.
10. After using, pull out the plug and open the upper lid and let the waffl e maker
cool down.
RECIPE
For your enjoyment, this is a general recipe for making waffl e bowls:
Butter 100g
Whole eggs 2 pcs
Flour 3,5 deciliters
Milk 4 deciliters
Salt 1 pinch
Baking powder 2 tsp
CAUTION
1. Cooking time is depending on the thickness of your batter, approx. 3-5 minutes.
2. The fi rst heating process should take place without any batter, let the
appliance heat for about ten minutes. There may be a slight development of
smoke or smell, this is normal and harmless.
3. If too much batter is inserted into the appliance, the unit cannot be closed or the
extra batter will come out. Never put batter over half of the lower bowl, around
1/3 will be best. Never close it with force as this could damage the lock.
4. Never use a sharp fork or knife to remove the food as this will damage the
non-stick coating of the cooking surface. Use a heat-resistant wood or plastic
utensils only.
5. Always unplug the appliance from the power socket when not in use.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
1. Be aware that parts of the appliance become very hot during operation. Make
sure that the appliance is switched off, unplugged and wait for it to completely
cool down before cleaning or storage.
2. Wipe the cooking surface with a soft damp cloth after each use. If it is diffi cult to
remove residues, a little oil can soften it.
3. Do not use any spray-on metal objects as they will damage the non-stick
coating.
4. In case of any problem, please contact an authorized service center for help.

VIKTIGA SÄKERHETSFÖRESKRIFTER
När elektriska apparater används skall alltid grundläggande säkerhetsföreskrifter följas, inkluderat följande:
1. Läs igenom hela bruksanvisningen innan du använder apparaten första
gången.
2. Vidrör inte varma ytor. Använd handtag eller knappar.
3. För att undvika elektriska stötar, doppa inte apparat, sladd eller elkontakt i
vatten eller annan vätska.

av barn.

9. Låt inte sladden hänga över en kant eller vidröra varma ytor.
10. Placera inte på eller nära gas- eller elspis eller i en varm ugn.
11. Stor försiktighet måste iakttas när apparaten fl yttas då den innehåller varm
smet eller andra vätskor.
12. Sätt alltid i sladden till apparaten först, sedan pluggar du i sladden i vägg uttaget. För att koppla ur, vrid kontrollen till “off”, ta sedan ur elkontakten ur
vägguttaget.
13. Använd inte apparaten på något annat vis än vad den är avsedd för.
14. Använd aldrig apparaten om sladden är skadad. Sladden måste bytas ut av
tillverkaren, servicetekniker eller liknande för att undvika fara.
15. Apparaten är inte avsedd för att drivas av en extern timer eller fjärrkontroll system.
16. Om en lång avtagbar sladd eller förlängningssladd används:
1) Sladdens eller förlängningssladdens elektriska märkning måste vara minst
lika hög som märkningen för apparaten.
2) Om apparaten är jordad ska förlängningssladden vara av 3-fas typ.
3) En längre sladd ska fästas så att den inte hänger över en kant där barn kan
dra i den eller någon råkar snubbla över den.
17. Denna apparat kan användas av barn från 8 år och uppåt och personer med
nedsatt fysisk, sensorisk av mental förmåga eller brist på erfarenhet och
kunskap om de övervakas eller fått instruktioner om användningen av
apparaten på ett säkert sätt och förstår riskerna. Barn ska inte leka med
apparaten. Rengöring och underhåll får inte utföras av barn om de inte är äldre
än 8 och inte är under övervakning. Håll apparaten och dess sladd utom
räckhåll för barn under 8 år.

SÄKERHETSFÖRESKRIFTER
1. Använd alltid apparaten på en plan yta. Se till att det fi nns tillräckligt med
ventilation, så den varma ångan kan försvinna.
2. Temperaturen på den yttre ytan kan vara hög när apparaten är i drift. Rör inte
yttre ytan, använd knappar och handtag.
3. För att undvika brandrisk, lämna aldrig apparaten oövervakad.
4. Innan apparaten ansluts till eluttaget måste våffeljärnet vara stängt.
ANVÄNDARINSTRUKTIONER
1. Rulla ut sladden helt och hållet.
2. Kontrollera att värmeplattorna är rena och dammfria. Torka av med en fuktig
trasa vid behov.
3. Placera apparaten på en jämn yta.
4. Anslut elkontakten till vägguttaget. Tillagningsytan börjar värmas upp och den
röda lampan tänds. När tillagningsytan nått rätt temperatur (det brukar ta 3-5
minuter) släcks lampan och apparaten är redo att användas.
5. Öppna apparaten och häll i smeten i den nedre bägarformen.
6. Stäng apparaten, den röda lampan släcks snart.
7. Öppna apparaten när lampan tänds igen, kontrollera om bakverket/smeten är
tillräckligt ”gyllenbrunt”. Tillagningstiden tills rätt brun färg uppnås beror på
vilken typ av bakverk/smet och personlig smak.
8. När våffelbägaren är klar, öppna apparaten och ta bort våffelbägaren med en
trä- eller plastspatel.
9. De färdiglagade våffelbägarna kan ätas direkt eller när de svalnat och blivit
hårda då de kan användas som en bägare och fyllas med glass/choklad/
fruktsallad m.m.
10. När du är färdig med användandet, dra ur elkontakten och öppna det övre
locket och låt våffeljärnet svalna helt och hållet.
RECEPT
Grundrecept för smet till våffelbägare:
Smör 100g
Ägg 2 st.
Mjöl 3,5 deciliter
Mjölk 4 deciliter
Salt 1 nypa
Bakpulver 2 tsk
