PATENTED BY MICHAEL AND BART BELLON
The Chameleon® Extender
The Chameleon® Extender has been patented (US Patent 8,783,212 B2 and EP pending) and designed by Michael and Bart Bellon. By affixing your ecollar brick to the Chameleon® Extender, you will be able to benefit from the Chameleon® collar design while being able to use your existing brand (limited to Martin System, D o g t ra, D o g Trace, E -Co ll ar Technologies, Garmin, Sit Means Sit, and Sport Dog brands).
With the Chameleon® Extender, you can have one brick collar and have the utility of two bricks. You can have more than one positive and negative contact point. Additionally, with the Chameleon® Extender, you can move your contacts and change the number of contacts to have optimal contact and best sensitivity for your dog. You can move the contact points as frequently as necessary to eliminate possibility of necrosis. Additionally, you can use the
Chameleon® Feather Contacts which are compatible with the Chameleon® Extenders (and all Chameleon® collars) and give the best contact with flexible comfort.
To affix the brick to the Chameleon® Extender, you unscrew your contact points and then place your brick on the Chameleon® Extender and then screw your bolts (or your screws) back on the brick. Whether you use bolts or screws when attaching the brick is specific to each brand. After tightening the screws/bolts well with a special wrench (delivered in the package with your Extender), then you cover the holes at the inside of your Chameleon® Extender with the two delivered plastic covers. The plastic covers need only to be pushed on.
You can purchase the feathers as an option to ensure optimal contact.
