Press to turn on. The output of the
rst wavelength in dBm is displayed. The
unit is in Auto-O mode, as indicated by a
cross on the power symbol. Press again, and
the power turns o.

The auto-o feature can be disabled by pressing the switch,
as indicated by the power symbol without a cross.

Press switch for modulated output at 270Hz, 1K, or 2KHz

Press switch to select other wavelengths

Charge laser source with provided USB power adapter, the red indicator LED will
illuminate until charging has been completed.

The CO-OLS-4761 is not water resistant or waterproof

LASER SAFETY The Tunable Laser Source has been congured to provide

laser radiation in the C Band of operation. (1530-1565nm) This unit has been
designed to comply with 21 CFR (Code of Federal Regulations) 1040.10 and

1040.11, for Class 1M emission limits. Although Class 1 levels are not considered
to be hazardous, we suggest limiting exposure by never looking directly into
the optical aperture. Also, do not under any circumstance view or inspect the
laser output bers, connectors or the ber under test through collimating or
focusing optics unless the unit is turned o, batteries are removed and the
power adapter is disconnected.
