All models in the X-Series Non-Cutaway Acoustic Electric Collection are covered by the Martin Limited
Lifetime Warranty and are warranted only to the original owner for his or her lifetime when purchased
from an authorized C. F. Martin & Co. dealer located in the United States or Canada. Sonitone factory­installed electronics on any model covered by the Martin Limited Lifetime Warranty are warranted for a
period of one year from the date of original purchase.

Patented High-Pressure Laminate (HPL) Body Construction

In our ongoing effort to seek viable alternatives to rare wood, we have vigorously researched and
implemented alternative materials that are well suited for guitars. The back, sides, top (soundboard)
and headplate are constructed of patented non-wooden high pressure laminates (HPL).

Solid Sitka Spruce Top

Six models in this Collection feature solid Sitka spruce, Picea Sitchensis, - the primary top wood for
most Martin guitars. Extremely vibrant providing an ideal “diaphragm” for transmission of sound on
any size and style of stringed instrument. Chosen for its straight, uniform grain, longevity and tensile

Genuine Martin SP Strings

High quality strings are critical to a guitar’s tone and playability. They bring to life all the power, nuance
and unique Martin “voice” we carefully craft into every one of our guitars. What’s more, a carefully
gauged and balanced set of strings will greatly enhance the style of playing and facilitate technique.
That’s why we make Martin strings ourselves. Like our guitars, each string is made carefully and
precisely, using only premium materials.

All models in this Collection are equipped with Martin SP Phosphor Bronze strings. Specifically
chosen to prolong brightness, string life and superior tonal quality that meet the high expectations
of demanding musicians.
