WARNING

For the safe operation of this machine follow the

instructions given in this booklet and the training
given by your supervisor. Failure to do so can result in personal
injury and/or damage to machine and property!

• To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not use this fan with

any solid-state speed control device.

• Do not alter or modify your airmover in any way. Use only replace­ment parts authorized by manufacturer. Modifications or use of unap­proved parts could create a hazard and will void your warranty. Con­tact your authorized distributor for assistance.

• Do not use or store this machine in areas involving fuels, grain dust,
solvents, thinners or other flammable materials and vapors. Do not
use flammables to clean this machine.

• For indoor use only. To avoid electrical shock, do not expose the
unit to rain, and do not handle with wet hands. Do not immerse or use
this unit in standing water.

• Do not pull or carry unit by the cord, do not use cord as a handle,

and do not close a door on the cord or pull cord around sharp edges or
corners. Keep cord away from heated surfaces. Do not unplug unit by
pulling on cord. To safely unplug unit, grasp plug and not the cord.

WARNING

a) Do not operate any fan with a damaged cord or plug. Discard fan or
return to an authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.

b) Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw
rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Do not route cord under furniture
or appliances. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will
not be tripped over.

NOTICE

• Do not obstruct openings or place any objects into openings on the
unit. Keep unit free from dust, lint, hair and anything that may reduce
air flow. Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers and all parts of the body
away from openings and moving parts.

• Unplug when not in use or when moving unit. Turn off all controls
before unplugging.

• Operate unit on a level and stable surface to prevent it from falling

and reduce risk of possible injury or damage.

• Do not drop or throw the unit. Treatment of this type can cause dam-

age to the components and create a serious hazard.

• Do not allow children to play with or around the unit. Be sure the

unit is inaccessible to children when not attended.

GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS

This machine must be grounded. If it should malfunction or break
down, grounding provides a path of least resistance for electric cur­rent to reduce the risk of electric shock. This machine is equipped
with a cord having an equipment-grounding conductor and ground­ing plug and must be plugged into a grounded outlet.

WARNING

Improper connection of the equipment-grounding conductor can result
in a risk of electric shock. Check with a qualified electrician or ser­vice person if you are in doubt as to whether the outlet is properly

MAINTENANCE

Before each use

• Inspect the electrical cord and wiring for damage or discoloration

• Inspect for loose fasteners

• Clean inlet and outlet as needed

• Listen for abnormal sounds

• Keep unit clean

As needed

Use compressed air or a vacuum to remove lint and other debris from
the inlet/outlet grill and motor/impeller. Do not use liquids or a pres­sure washer to clean the unit.

TRANSPORT AND STORAGE

Always use the handle to load or carry the unit. Units may be stacked
for transport and storage. When transporting, secure the unit carefully
to prevent sliding and damage to the unit and/or injury to vehicle oc­cupants.

• Para reducir el riesgo de incendio o descarga eléctrica, no use este

ventilador con ningún dispositivo sólido de control de velocidad.

• No altere ni modifique su secador de alfombras de ninguna manera.

Use solamente repuestos autorizados por el fabricante. Cualquier mo­dificación o el uso de piezas no autorizadas podrían provocar un acci­dente y anularán la garantía. Póngase en contacto con su distribuidor
autorizado para obtener ayuda.

• No utilice ni guarde esta máquina en lugares con combustibles,
polvo de granos, solventes, diluyentes u otros materiales o vapores.
No utilice productos inflamables para limpiar esta máquina.

• Sólo para uso interior. Para evitar descargas eléctricas, no exponga

la unidad a la lluvia ni la manipule con las manos mojadas.

• No jale ni tire de la unidad por el cable, no lo use como mango, no

cierre la puerta sobre el mismo ni lo extienda alrededor de bordes o

esquinas filosas. Mantenga el cable lejos de las superficies calientes.
No desenchufe tirando del cable. Para desenchufar la unidad de ma­nera segura, tome del enchufe y no del cable.

ADVERTENCIA

a) No opere ningún ventilador que tenga el cable o el enchufe daña­dos. Saque de uso el ventilador o devuélvalo a un centro de servicio
autorizado para su revisión y/o reparación.
b) No coloque el cable debajo de alfombras. No cubra el cable con ta­petes o cubiertas similares. No haga pasar el cable por debajo de mue­bles o electrodomésticos. Coloque el cable lejos del área de tránsito,
donde nadie pueda tropezar con el mismo.

AVISO

• No obstruya las aberturas de la unidad ni coloque ningún objeto so-

bre las mismas. Mantenga la unidad libre de polvo, pelusas, pelo y
cualquier cosa que pudiera reducir el flujo de aire. Mantenga su cabe­llo, ropa suelta, dedos o cualquier otra parte del cuerpo alejados de las
aberturas y partes móviles.

• Desenchufar cuando no se halle en uso o cuando se esté desplazando

la unidad. Apague todos los controles antes de desenchufar.

• Opere la unidad en una superficie estable y nivelada para evitar que

se caiga y así reducir el riesgo de posibles lesiones o daños.

• No deje caer ni tire la unidad. Un trato de este tipo puede causar da-

ños sobre los componentes y crear un riesgo serio.

• No permita que los niños jueguen con la unidad o cerca de ella. Ase-

gúrese de que la unidad no quede accesible a los niños cuando no se
la esté controlando.

INSTRUCCIONES DE PUESTA A TIERRA

Esta máquina debe tener conexión a tierra. En caso de fallo o rotura,
la puesta a tierra brinda una vía de menor resistencia para la corriente
eléctrica, para así reducir el riesgo de descarga. Esta máquina está
equipada con un cable con un conductor equipo-tierra y un enchufe de
puesta a tierra y debe ser enchufado equipo-tierra.

ADVERTENCIA

Una incorrecta conexión del conductor equipo-tierra puede derivar en
riesgo de descarga eléctrica. Si tiene dudas sobre si los tomacorrientes
están correctamente conectados a tierra, consulte con un electricista o
persona de servicio técnico calificada. No modifique el enchufe sumi­nistrado con la máquina. Si no coincide con el tomacorriente, haga
que un electricista calificado instale un tomacorriente adecuado.

MANTENIMIENTO

Antes de cada uso

• Inspeccionar el cable eléctrico y el cableado para ver si presentan da-

ños o decoloración

• Inspeccionar si hay sujetadores sueltos

• Limpiar las pantallas en el sector lateral y frontal de la unidad

• Prestar atención a sonidos anormales

• Mantener limpia la unidad

Según sea necesario

Utilice compresor de aire o una aspiradora para quitar la pelusa y la
suciedad del motor, la pantalla y la rueda del soplador. No utilice lí­quidos ni lavadora a presión para limpiar la unidad.

TRANSPORTE Y ALMACENAMIENTO

Para cargar o transportar la unidad utilice siempre el mango. Las uni­dades pueden ser apiladas para su transporte y almacenamiento. Du­rante su transporte, asegure la unidad cuidadosamente para evitar da­ños o desplazamientos, así como lesiones a los ocupantes del
vehículo.
