he WSM-5 series have been
designed as a multi-purpose wall

mounting cabinet loudspeaker.
Constructed of powder coated mild
steel, the units are inherently vandalÂproof, making them ideal for
applications such as school corridors,
stairwells and toilets as well as public
buildings and underground car parks.
The WSM-5061VA has also been
designed to comply with voice alarm
standards world-wide (including
BS5839 part 8
the event of a fire, the integrity of the
entire loudspeaker circuit must not be
compromised by one or more
loudspeakers failing due to damage by
localized heat/flames. That is why the
WSM-5061VA is fitted with ceramic
termination blocks that are capable of
withstanding temperatures in excess of

accordance with IEC 268-5 Power
Handling Capacity standards.
