SOP-5 Series

he SOP-5 series has been
designed to offer directional
and efficient projection

characteristics. This coupled with
a full range twin cone 5" driver
unit, makes the SOP-5 series a
compact and economical, wide
bandwidth alternative to horn
loudspeakers, suitable for both
music and speech applications. All
units are constructed from high
impact ABS plastic and are IP
rated to IP55, making them ideal
for installations such as factories,
food processing plants and school
yards etc.

*The optional SOP-5120BVA has

also been designed to comply with
voice alarm standards (including
BS5839 part 8) which requires
that in the event of a fire, the
integrity of the entire loudspeaker
circuit must not be compromised
by one or more loudspeakers
failing due to damage by localized
heat/flames. That is why the SOP­5120BVA is fitted with ceramic
termination blocks that are
capable of withstanding
temperatures in excess of 650 .
