With the knowledge that you are
getting the same quality construction
and simple fit method throughout the
range, you can tailor a system which
has seamless aesthetics yet meets
rigorous acoustic conditions.

The QCM-8 series ceiling loudspeaker
has been designed to deliver high
quality music re-production for
background music as well as being a
flexible and economical public address
loudspeaker. The 8" full range, twin
cone driver unit produces exceptional
low frequency response (70Hz ~ 20kHz).
The 100 volt (and 70.7v) line
transformer is rated at 10 watts (with
music applications in mind).

*In order to comply with various
standards throughout the world, all
QCM series ceiling speakers have
available, optional firedome systems (as
pictured). In the case of the FS & VAF
firedomes, CES Audio have created a
patented fitting system (SUPER-FIT)
which can reduce install time by up to
50%. Once cables have been glanded,
the unit does not require access to the
rear of the firedome, unlike
conventional systems that have bridged
fitting bars.

system. QCM-8101VAF, is fully
compliant to British
Standards for Voice Alarms. As well as
mild steel construction capable of
withstanding temperatures of 650 ,
the fire dome has fitted ceramic
termination blocks and fire resistant
internal cabling, coupled with a 150
thermal isolating fuse. The unit also
allows for simple glanding and
termination of fireproof cables before
the loudspeaker is fitted. (

products are extensively tested in our
Anechoic Test Chamber,
Withstanding/Insulation Tester and
Programmable Temperature &
Humidity Chamber to ensure accurate
specification, safety and reliability.

All CES Audio loudspeakers are
designed to withstand operating at their
rated power for 100 hours in
accordance with IEC 268-5 Power
Handling Capacity standards.
