The adapti ve and interactive fea tures of the Talea
black amaretto shade, dark stained
walnut, tex tured black powd ercoat
introduced exciting challenges to the design
process. I be lieve we found a bala nce that allows
this xtur e to thrive in a range of spaces a nd
dierent applications. I am really pleased with
how the design language turned out, specically
how the exp ressive hinge sugges ts its ability to
swing, and ho w the wood to metal arm d etailing
suggests th e arm can telescope. It ’s a beautiful
mixture of utility and elegance.
