Visual Safety
• Watching video files with narrow screen can cause a visual damage. Do not use for a long time continuously.
Safety while walking
• Reduce volume of headphone or earphone while walking or at street side, pedestrian’s crosswalk because it can cause damages.
Safety during driving
• Do not use headphones or earphones while cycling, driving such as motorized vehicle & roller skating.
• It can be against the law in some regions to use headphones or earphones during driving.
• Do not leave this product in a car. It may cause damages to the product and user according to the ascending or descending of in car temperature.
Hearing Safety
• Do not use headphones or earphones at high volume. Auditory injury can be caused.
• Reduce volume or stop using the player if you experience a ringing in your ears.
• Hearing for a long time can cause auditory injury.
Safety in public transportation
It may cause accidental damage using in bus, subway, railway such as public transportation by caught earphones between the doors. Listening with loud volume while using public transportation may cause inconveniences to other people. To protect other’s privacy, please use with low volume while using public transportation.
Prohibition of expose to water, humidity, rain, beverage, medicine and cosmetic
This player, as a electronic product, is easily damaged by water. Do not power on if the player gets wet , then mop up the player immediately and go get A/S.
Do not use water or other chemicals to clean the player. Use dry mope or towel.

It is prohibited to put metal or inflammable objects inside the player for safe usage. It may cause inferior of player.

Do not disassemble or modify. It may cause breakage, inferior or accidental damage.

1. Power on the player. Wait until the main screen is displayed.
2. Conn ect to a PC with USB 2.0 cable (Mini USB B, long cable). When it is connected to PC, “USB Device Connected” message will pop-up on the screen
of the player.
3. Open USB port which is on the left side and connect USB 2.0 cable (Mini USB B, long cable) with USB 2.0 Jack which is on the lower end of player.
4. When it is connected to the main body, it is detected as a mass storage on PC. If no power source is input, the USB is not detected. Power on when it is connected to PC.
5. When it is connected to PC, it is detected as a mass storage, MVP-100.
6. yo u can transfer movie, music, image file from PC to audio box, Video, Image folder in the player.
• You should connect to PC with USB 2.0 port.
• This player has USB 2.0 & USB1.1 Host Jack. Do not use with connecting above two Jacks at the same time.
• Under Window 98 system, you should install additional USB
driver for recognition of USB.

Separation from PC
1. If you want to separate the connection between player and PC, click the USB connecting icon from the menu icon which is shown right side in the below end of PC then “Hardware safely detachable” message will pop-up.
2. Select “USB mass storage de vice” and press ”Stop”.
3. Select “ Toshiba MK2004GAL USB Device” and select “ Hardware device stop” message from menu.
4. Be sure to che ck “ Hardware safely detachable” message on PC.
5. You can sep arate this player with PC.

1. Connect the adapter to the player’s DC Jack which is on the lower end of the right side from the front of player.
2. If the LED which is on the lower end of the front illuminates with red color, charging is in processing.
3. The LED light will change into green color when charging is complete.
4. The LED light will turn-off when the adapter is detached.

Connecting TV
1. Connect A/V cable to the image input terminal of TV. Yellow is Video, White is Audio left channel, Red is Audio right channel.
2. Connect A/V cable to the end of A/V Jack which is on the lower end of the left side from the front.
3. Set the TV setting as Line-in .
4. When you power on the player, menu icons will be displayed on TV screen and you can enjoy video file by setting TV screen.
5. If you pull out the A/V cable from the player, t h en you can enjoy video file on the LCD screen again.
6. If you stick A/V cable to the player while screen playing on built-in LCD, then there is no output on LCD.

1. Conn ect USB 1.1 Host cable (Mini USB A, short cable) to USB storage device (USB Flash Memory Drive).
2. Open USB port which is on the left side and connect USB Host cable (short cable) with USB Host Jack which is on the lower end of player.
3. When it is connected to the main body, it is detected as a mass storage (B: device) on PC.
4. Transfer, save, deletion of file is available at File Manager menu.

• Press when power on/off.
• Press about 3 seconds to make power on/off
• Use the MENU button to go back to setting screen.
• If you press MENU button during playback mode, it will shift to circumstance setting screen of playing file, after setting it, press
/ESC key for shift to playback mode.
• Use Play/Pause button to play music/video file and you press again to pause play of
music/video.
•Use ■/ESC key to pause playing (music, video, snapshot) and transfer to upper screen. Use /ESC key to transfer to upper menu.
• Press shutter button a bit long to shift to Snapshot mode. It will not operate when it is connected to PC with USB cable.

If you press ‘Menu’ button while playing then it is shifted as the circumstance setting mode of the current file.

Set the Audio setting function or Play mode suites to user’s taste.
Returning to Play mode
After circumstance setting is completed, press /ESC button to switchover to the playing
If you press ‘Select’ button while music file playing then it is shifted as Equalizer preset setting.
ID TAG contains Artist name, title info. The player supports standard ID Tag version 1,2.
* Other function is same as in 3-2. Playing Music file.
You can make lists of music file and listen them consecutively.

Music Menu Selection
Transfer to navigation button and select Music and click. By selecting, the icon will be indicated.
Add to Playlist
Select music file and click MENU button shortly. You will be asked whether you want to add to Playlist. Use direction key to select YES button then the file will be added to the list.
Deletion of file in Playlist
Select file to be deleted and Click MENU button shortly. You will be asked whether you want to delete file from Playlist. You can choose Yes. And then the file will be deleted from Play list. But the file is only deleted on the Playlist not on the original folder.

• You can watch video file (MPG, AVI etc) stored in Video folder through Video Player.
• You can watch WMV file which are not played in this player through conversion with media converter.

If you press ‘Menu’ button while playing then it is shifted as the circumstance setting mode of the current file.

Returning to Play mode
After circumstance setting is completed, press /ESC button to switchover to the playing
If you press Select button while video file playing, screen size setting is switched. If you select ‘Screen’ then it is displayed fitted to screen size and select ‘Original’ then it is displayed as to the original size.
To play subtitle there should be same file name between video & subtitle file which has extension name as smi. If you do not want to subtitle then off the Caption on Setting>Play mode.

Move to Snapshot mode
1. Select Snapshot in main menu.
2. Press Shutter for a moment.
Snapshot
Snapshot is seeing screen beforehand status, if you press shutter or play key you can take a picture. It shows photos taken beforehand and asks whether you will save it. If you wan to save it click “Yes” if not click “No”. Then it returns to preview status.
Camera settings
You can make camera setting by using ◀▶ ▼▲ buttons of setting screen in the below
end and set desired setting and press shutter. You can take a Snapshot as set in the player.
Image saving
Photographed photos are saved in Snapshot directory in the Image menu. If you want to see the photographed photos then transfer to Snapshot directory and select photo file
Snapshot completion
To complete snapshot on preview screen then press /ESC key. By pressing /ESC key, transferring to main screen is possible.

• You can record conversation or lectures using built-in microphone.
• Microphone is built-in on the top of main body, so you should use it considering the recording direction. (Refer to the name of eac h p art 2- 1 .)

Completion of recording/ stop
If you press /ESC while recording then all the recorded files will be saved in the Voice folder under Music. By pressing ■/ESC key it will transfer to main screen.
Voice Recorder selection
Transfer to ‘ Voice Recorder’ using Navigation button and click it. By selecting Voice Recorder icon will be highlighted.
Recording standby
By pressing Voice Recorder, voice record standby status (Ready) will be displayed and shifted to recording standby status.
Recording
Under recording standby status, recording will be started by pressing II▶button. If you press II▶button one more time, it will be
paused.
Pause/ Release
Press IIbutton one more time to pause the screen while playback. Press IIbutto again to record from the pause status again.

Alteration of Voice Recording Setting
Recorded file is saved automatically in the Voice folder under Music folder. At this point press Play or Select key after searching desired file then you can playback the recorded file.
To change recording setting then transfer to setting Menu and set the functions of Voice Recorder. Recording setting switchover while recording is not available.

• You can transfer and receive data by connecting external storagedevice (device) with MVP-100(Host)without PC connection. USB speed is USB 1.1.
• File Manager is compatible with external storage device which is formatted as FAT 16/32 file system.

Transfer files from the host to device

Press the Power button to turn on the power.
Connecting Device
Under all functions of player are stopped, by using USB Host cable connect external storage devices such as digital camera, USB memory Stick to USB Host port.
Selecting File Manager
Put cursor on File Manager and press enter button then a screen showing A:HDD, B:USB will be displayed. If is not correctly connected this screen will not be displayed. Read through above points and connect again.
Selecting Device
Select desired A/B Drive using Navigation button (REW/FF).

as A:HDD.

Cable separation
After completion of function, separate USB cable between player & Device. If it is separated while file transferring or copying, it may cause file damage.
All the devices (external storage device) which are connected to this product are powered by this product. If connected device has much power consumption, the connection can be released automatically for product safety.
You can connect devices (external storage device) which is detected on PC without separate Application or need no separate Security function. Some digital cameras and USB Flash memory and etc. are not connected. Some device (external storage device) which is connected to this player is detected only when the power itself is on. Before connecting to this player, be sure of the using procedure.

Put the cursor on OS Update and press Select key then updated Firmware version saved in the Root is searched. If there is no Firmware saved, it is indicated that there is no Firmware. If there is a Firmware saved, you will be asked whether you will update Firmware. If you select ‘Yes’Firmware update will be processed. Do not operate product during update. After completion of update, power off by pressing power button and reboot the player, then it will be operated as a Firmware updated status.

Default Setting
You can set the Video Display size whether you will adjust it to the original resolution or to the Display size. If you set as Screen size, it will be set as the entire size of TV or LCD.

You can set the display languages such as Korean, English and folder name, file name, ID Tag, Sub title is played as setting language.

You can set the video signal output when Video Out is set as TV. NTSC is applied in USA, Canada, Korea, Japan etc and PAL is applied in Europe, Australia etc.

Sampling Rate is to set the sound quality while voice recording. You can select 32KHz & 44.1KHz and with 44.1KHz.
Bit Rate is to select the compress rate while voice recording. You can select 96Kbps & 128Kbps.
Mic Volume is to adjust the Gain value while recording.

• File Manager is compatible with external storage device which is made as FAT 16/32 file system.
• When connect to PC, some external storage devices such as digital camera, external HDD which are needed of separate Driver or Application are not detected as an external storage device. Digital camera, external HDD which has no power input or source may not be detected. External storage device which has 500mHa or above power consumption is not detected. Some digital camera or same CENTRIX is detected when power on. Check whether USB Cable is connected to USB Host. If it is connected to USB2.0, correct to connect to USB Host.
