1.1 Phone Display
1. Introduction

Left Soft Key In idle mode, press to turn the torch on.
Right Soft Key Access Internet services in idle mode.
Make or answer a call.
View call logs in standby mode.
Press and hold to turn the phone on/off.
End a call or reject an incoming call.
Return to idle mode.
In idle mode, press and hold to turn the torch on and it will remain on all the time.
Press again and the torch will turn off.
When the keypad is locked, press the Left Soft key and * to unlock the keypad
Return to the previous menu.
OK Enter the Main menu in idle mode.
Confirm a selection.
Numeric Key Enter numbers, letters or characters.
Select a submenu item labeled with the corresponding number.
* Press twice quickly to enter ‘+’ to make an international call.
Press and hold to enter the pause character (P) or the wait character (W) when
entering a number.
Press to enter a symbol when editing text.
# Press and hold to activate or deactivate the silent mode in idle mode.
Press to switch input modes when entering text.
Navigation Key Within a menu, press Up, Down, Left or Right to scroll through menu options.
Note: “Press” in this manual, means press the key and release; “press and hold” means to
press and hold the key for at least two seconds.
1.3 Icons & Symbols
Icon Description
To log on GPRS - The icon will be displayed only when you have logged onto GPRS.
Network - The left portion indicates whether your phone is already registered with a network and the right portion indicates signal strength (from no signal to strongest).
Battery - Indicates battery level. When charging, a scrolling icon will be displayed. The more bars, the stronger the charge.
Message - Indicates you have one or more unread messages.
Push message-Indicates that you have received new push message.
Voicemail- Indicates voice messages that have not been heard.
Missed call - Indicates there is a missed call.
Call Divert - Indicates that “Divert All Voice Calls” is activated.
Alarm-Indicates that the alarm clock is on.
Headset-Indicates that headset profile is activated.
Alert type is “Ring”.
2. Getting Started
2.1 Inserting the SIM Card
2.1.1 Remove the back cover(1), remove the battery (2), and insert the SIM card (3)

2.2 Inserting a T-Flash Card
1. Lift up the T-Flash card cover on the right side of the SIM card slot. Pull the cover down if it is
locked and then lift. A word “OPEN” will prompt you in the correct direction.
2. With the metal contacts facing down, gently slide the T-Flash card into the slot.
3. Press and pull the cover up to lock it. A word “Lock” will prompt you in the correct direction.
2.3 Turning on the Phone
To turn the phone on, press and hold the End/Power Key.
2.4 Charging the Battery
1. Make sure the battery is inserted. To charge the battery, plug in the charger connector at the bottom of your phone (charger port) and then plug the other end into an AC power socket.
2. The battery symbol indicates the charging status. During charging, the charge indicators will scroll. When all the scroll bars are steady, the battery is fully charged.
3. Disconnect the charger from the phone.
4. Disconnect the charger from the AC power socket.
3. Text Entry
3.1 Input Method
During text editing, you can press the # Key to switch input modes or press the Left Soft Key [Options]
and select Input Method to choose from different input modes.
In any input mode, press the * Key to open the symbols input screen.
3.2 Predictive Text entry
“2~9” Press to input letters.
1 Press to input symbols.
0 Press to enter a space.
Navigation Key ▲/▼// Press to browse the last or next available word.
Left Soft Key [Select] Press to confirm the letter or word.
Right Soft Key [Clear] Press to clear a letter, press and hold to clear all entries.
# Press to switch the input modes.
* Press to activate punctuation mode.
Example: How to enter the word " ERROR "
1. Press the # Key to switch to
2. Press 3 7 7 6 7, “ERROR” appears.
3. Press the OK Key to confirm “ERROR”.

3.3 Multi-tap Input
Using this mode requires you to press a key as many times as the order of the letters listed on the key.
For example, to enter the word “casa” in basic text input mode “es”, press key 2 (ABC) three times, press key 2 (ABC) once, press key 7 (PQRS) four times, press key 2 (ABC) once.
3.4 Numeric Input
Press the # Key to select “123” then enter the numbers using the keypad.
4. Calling
4.1 Making a Call
1. In idle mode, enter the phone number.
2. Press the Dial Key to dial the number.
3. Press the End/Power Key to end the call.
Note: During a call, press the Navigation Key Up/Down to adjust the volume.
4.1.1 Making an International Call
1. Press * twice quickly to enter "+" appears on the screen.
2. Enter the country code.
3. Enter the area code (normally without the 0 before it) followed by the phone number.
4. Press the Dial Key to call directly.
4.2 Answering a Call
Press the Answer Key to answer it.
Press the End/Power key to reject it.
5. Phonebook
Your phone features two phonebooks, the SIM phonebook and the smart phonebook which is integrated
in the phone memory.
5.1 Search contact
1. Press Menu > Phonebook.
2. Enter the first few letters of the contact name to search.
5.2 Add New Contact
To create a new SIM/phone contact:
1. Select Menu > Phonebook > Add new contact.
If you want to change the storage position, press the Left Soft Key [Options] and then select
Phonebook setting > Preferred storage to set the storage position.
2. Press the Options > select to enter the contact information.
3. Press the OK Key or Done to save the contact.
5.3 Phonebook settings
1. Select Menu > Phonebook
2. If you select a contact, press the Left Soft Key [Options] can call, edit, copy, move, and so on.
3. Select one item, press the Left Soft Key [Options] and select Phonebook settings.
Now you can set the speed dial, view the memory status, copy or move contacts, and so on.
Note: The submenus of this feature depend on the operator and different operators may
provide different services (some SIM cards do not support STK).

8. Call Center
8.1 View Call History
1. Select Menu > Call center > Call histor y.
2. Press the Navigation Key to view different call logs.
3. Choose a particular number and press the Dial/Answer Key to call the number directly.
4. Select D elete call logs if you want.
5. Select G PRS counter to view the GPRS volume you have used.
8.2 Adjust Call Settings
1. Select Menu > Call center > call settings.
2. Press the Navigation Key to view different call settings.
9. Messages
9.1 Creating a text message
1. Select Menu > Messages > Write message > Text message.
2. Write a message, please refer to the Text entry section of this manual for detailed information.
3. After entering text, you can access the send options by pressing the Left Soft Key [Options] and
then select Send to
9.2 Creating a multimedia message
1. In idle mode, press the Left Soft Key [Menu] to enter the main menu.
2. Select Messages > Write Message >Multimedia message,The MMS editing screen will appear.
you are able to add picture, sound into your message.
3. After finished, select Options and then Send to.
4. Add the recipient by inputting the number manually or searching them in the phonebook.
5. Finally, select Options and select the send option to send the message.
9.3 Voicemail Server
This menu allows you to set your voice mailbox number and listen to your voice messages.
