Note: “Press” in this manual, means press the key and releas e; “press and hold” means to
press and hold the key for at least two seconds.
1.3 Icons & Symbols
Icon Description
To log on GPRS - The icon will be displayed only when you have logged onto GPRS.
Network - The left portion indicates whether your phone is already registered with a
network and the right portion indicates signal strength (from no signal to strongest).
Battery - Indicates battery level. When charging, a scrolling icon will be displayed. The
more bars, the stronger the charge.
Message - Indicates you have one or more unread messages.
Push message-Indicates that you have received new push message.
Voicemail- Indicates voice messages that have not been heard.
Missed call - Indicates there is a missed call.
Call Divert - Indicates that “Divert All Voice Calls” is activated.
Alarm-Indicates that the alarm clock is on.
Headset-Indicates that headset profile is activated.
Alert type is “Ring”.
2. Getting Started
2.1 Inserting the SIM Card
2.1.1 Remove the back cover(1), remove the battery (2), and insert the SIM card (3)

2.2 Turning on the Phone
To turn the phone on, press and hold the End/Power Key.
2.3 Charging the Battery
1. Make sure the battery is insert ed. To charge the battery, plug in the charger connector at the
bottom of your phone (charger port) and then plu g the other end into an AC power socket.
2. The battery symbol indicates the charging status. During charging, the charge indicators will scroll.
When all the scroll bars are steady, the battery is fully charged.
3. Disconnect the charger from the phone.
4. Disconnect the charger from the AC power socket.
3. Text Entry
3.1 Input Method
During text editing, you can press the # Key to switch input modes or press the Left Soft Key [Options]
and select Input Method to choose from different input modes.
In any input mode, press the * Key to open the symbols input screen.
3.2 Predictive Text entry
“2~9” Press to input letters.
1 Press to input symbols.
0 Press to enter a space.
Navigation Key ▲/▼/◀/▶Press to browse the last or next available word.
Left Soft Key [Select] Press to confirm the letter or word.
Right Soft Key [Clear] Press to clear a letter, press and hold to clear all entries.
# Press to switch the input modes.
* Press to activate punctuation mode.
Example: How to enter the word " ERROR "
1. Press the # Key to switch to
2. Press 3 7 7 6 7, “ERROR” appears.
3. Press the OK Key to confirm “ERROR”.

3.3 Multi-tap Input
Using this mode requires you to press a key as many times as the order of the letters listed on the key.
For example, to enter the word “casa” in basic text input mode “es”, press key 2 (ABC) three times, press
key 2 (ABC) once, press key 7 (PQRS) four times, press key 2 (ABC) once.
3.4 Numeric Input
Press the # Key to select “123” then enter the numbers using the keypad.
4. Calling
4.1 Making a Call
1. In idle mode, enter the phone number.
2. Press the Dial Key to dial the number.
3. Press the End/Power Key to end the call.
Note: During a call, press the Navigation Key Up/Down to adjust the volume.
4.1.1 Making an International Call
1. Press * twice quickly to enter "+" appears on the screen.
2. Enter the country code.
3. Enter the area code (normally without the 0 before it) followed by the phone number.
4. Press the Dial Key to call directly.
4.2 Answering a Call
Press the Answer Key to answer it.
Press the End/Power key to reject it.
5. FM Radio
Note: The radio will not work unless the headset is attached. Attach the headset included
with your phone to the USB port located at the bottom of the phone.
To operate the radio:
1. Press the Navigation Key Down to activate or deactivate the FM radio.
2. Press the * / # Key to adjust the volume.
3. Press the Navigation Key Up to activate or deactivate Auto search.
4. Press the Navigation Key Right/Left to switch the channels.If auto search is activated, pressing
the Navigation Key Right/Left will switch the available searched channels; if auto search is
deactivated, pressing the Navigation Key Right/Left will switch to varying ch annels by 0.1
intervals.
5. Press the Left Soft Key [Options] to access FM settings.
6. Fun & Games
You can enjoy the games that are built into your cellular phone.
7. STK Service
Note: The submenus of this feature depend on the operator and different operators may
provide different services (some SIM cards do not support STK).
Please contact your operator.
8. Call History
1. Select Menu > Call history.
2. Press the Navigation Key to view different call logs.
3. Choose a particular number and press the Dial/A nswer Key to call the number directly.
4. Select Delete call logs if you want.
9. Messaging
9.1 Creating a text message
1. Select Menu > Messaging > Write message.
2. Write a message, please refer to the Text entry section of this manual for detailed information.
3. After entering text, you can acce ss the send options by pressing the Left Soft Key [Options] and
then select Send to
9.2 Voicemail Server
This menu allows you to set your voice mailbox number and listen to your voice messages.
To set your voice mailbox number, select Messaging >Message settings > Voicemail server.
Note: You can forward your calls to your voice mailbox (the phone number for callers to leave a message)
via the Call forwarding feature.
9.3 Broadcast Message
1. Select Menu > Messages > Broadcast message .
2. Press the Left Soft Key [On] to activate this function.
3. Press the Navigation Key Down to select Channel settings to enter the channel number.
10. Phonebook
Your phone features two phonebooks, the SIM phonebook and the smart phonebook which is integrated
in the phone memory.
10.1 Search contact
1. Press Menu > Phonebook.
